Although I think that LC=Left Corner is WAY too easy for a hint, I'm choosing #1 as my pick for Shakes. Best I can tell from the picture, the guy looks like a smartass. No offense intended, I love that about you, Shakes.

Now that we have numbers, I will clarify my vote.. Number 8 is Shakes. Or, maybe number 5, no I'm sticking with my first instinct. #8!

I think that an important thing to think about is what Shakes the Clown has told us about himself. He is thirty years old, and a lawyer. Being a lawyer is not that important of a clue, but being 30 definitely is. Who in this picture can be eliminated from contention based on their age?

I submit that number 5 definitely looks younger than 30...and, if I was to hazard a guess, number 4 and number 7 look younger as well. I think it is safe to eliminate these 3 from the possibilities.

Of the other 5, which could, most likely, be Shakes the Clown? He does spend a lot of time on here, yes, but has also stated that he came here specifically so that, when his show aired, he could write favorable summaries concerning himself. As well, I am sure that these guys (and girls) are all a little nuts, anyways, based on the fact that they signed on for this event.

Shakes is articulate, and his ability to flame others is nearly unparalleled. All part of being a lawyer; the question is, could he use this ability for good as well as evil? Definitely...I don't know the premise of the show, but my guess is that it is a group of singles all travelling together.

When was the picture taken? And why did Shakes show it to us? A couple more questions that need some answers...would he willfully show us a picture that showed him in a bad light? Possibly...who knows what twisted mechanics run in the brain of the clown?

My guess? Bachelor number 2. He is the one in the most positive light in the picture of the old 'uns.

Good point, sleeeve, I had thought of that also. I actually was avoiding using that info to make my decision, though, because: a)I figured the photo doesn't necessarily give a real accurate idea of their attractiveness, b) I felt it might be too rude to say "Well, this guy is geeky, so it must be you since no one wanted you" (but hey, this is Shakes, why should I worry? , and c) the reason he wasn't chosen might have been that he managed to piss them all off right away. I have no idea why that might have happened, but anything is possible. ;)

But since you asked....based just on this picture and appearance, the guy I would be least likely to choose is #5. He looks a little geeky and short to me (but its pretty blurry, so he might be cuter). My initial reaction was to say #3, the Michael Bolton-hair guy, but upon closer inspection he's not that bad and he has a great smile, looks like a fun guy.

Hey my triple E man, great way to go about it. I do have one suggestion though, it's not so much who we, the SB babes wouldn't pick, but who the bimbettes in the picture wouldn't pick. As you know us SB babes have better and more eclectic taste than most of the chicks in the world. So with that in mind, I can deduce from the looks of the women in the picture, the fact that they're on Love Cruise at all and that they want the first "coupling" to be fantastic (in case they don't make it any farther than the first day) the two men not picked would be # 5 and # 8

Why do I need a lawyer? Did I kill someone? Was I drinking and driving again...I mean just this once? Is it a civil suit? Or a Personal Injury suit? Shakes is a PI lawyer, so we have to think about the people who hire PI attorney's.

If you were looking for someone to save your butt from jail, I'd say all of those those things are correct, however as we know Shakes is an ambulance chaser (I mean that in the nicest sense clwowny!) so long hair is not necessarily a draw back. Tattoo's and earrings maybe, but...

Going by these standards, I'd say either one of them could still work. My instincts tell me that # 8 is a really good contender, but I think I'm gonna go with #5.
We know that he's 30(ish) and that still makes him a semi"baby" lawyer. #5 has that "have you been in an auto accident? Do you want to sue the pants off of someone? Well, I can help." kinda look about him. Someone who's socially adept enough to know all the right people (both sides of a case), judges and the like, but still have the slightly smarmy "I can play dirty if need be" attitude about him.
So, all said, I'm going with #5.

I have lots of reasons for this pick, none I will be sharing, but it's #1 , ( I think)

OK, I think it is one of the following:

#3 has the hair (check the clown icon)! But is too happy IMO so he's out.
#2 is possible but seems too preppie
#5 is possible but something seems wrong - looks to be an outcast, but I could be wrong
#8 is most likely but only because the smile seems to say, "what have I gotten myself into?"
