"Million Dollar Quotes"

Posted by Bebo on 11-08-12 at 05:50 PM
I thought that Russell said the million dollar quote about Denise, but the ECST for last night's show has a couple of other potentials. Thought I'd put them all together here so we can discuss/speculate/point and laugh...

Possibilities:

Denise - When asked why Denise should go tonight, Russell (I originally messed up and said Malcolm) said that if you get her in front of a jury, they'll point at the other two and say "You suck, you suck" and then point to Denise and says "she wins".

Skupin - michel pointed out this quote from Lisa last night: I want to give him (Skupin) the universe.

Lisa - Pepe brought over Lisa's twitter feed, where she says that Penner's a cool guy and adds, The Million Dollar Question is...did I listen to his wisdom?.

I'm currently watching the show, and the Lisa quote didn't go quite that way:

I have a plan that assures him that he does not need to scramble and make alliances with somebody else that's gonna promise him the world because I'm gonna promise him the universe.

Which sounds less of a quote in favor of Michael, and more of a quote showing Lisa's newly found strategic prowess.

What about Penner in episode 5 saying, "in order to win this game I have to make big moves" and then in episode 7 saying, "I dont deserve to win this game if I can't read people, and I always forget that people lie". Well, later on in the episode he realizes that people are lying to him so he decides to play his idol. And he was right in doing so. Why is Penner's edit so favorable? Are they screwing with us? Or maybe production really really wanted him to win so they decided to give him all the screen time making us think he would win. If that's the case, then i'm seriously angry that they did that. He has doubt, winner's quotes, a glowing edit, and nobody says anything negative about him in confessionals. yet he isn't spoiled to be at the end of this game....Good job editors! *sarcasm*

Penner's a great character, and he's been playing a good game. Skupin had a great start but then his game fell apart, and he's about 180 degrees from bigger than life Outback Skupin.

I wouldn't count either of them out of the running just yet, though. Jeff Kent said in his exit interviews his jury vote goes to whoever earned it (played the best game) and if either of them get to FTC against the anti-vet tide that's going a long way to earning it.

I think that Jeff would really respect an immunity run, too.

Thanks for straightening me out, Spot. I had pulled it from the ECST but didn't have the context.

Given all of the anti-veteran sentiment, I don't see how Penner or Skupin could win this game. Even if they were 2 of the 3 finalists, there would always be a non-vet options for the jury.

they're making it an obvious Denise win..Denise is the only one left with no negativity and nobody talking badly about her in confessionals. Its Denise's game, we can move on to season 26 now.
