It happened on the weekend.

Even though American Idol judge Paula Abdul broke her nose during the weekend, she will be on hand for this week's "Idol" finals in Hollywood.

Abdul was not hospitalized for her injury, the singer-dancer-judge's representative told E! News Monday.

"She tripped to avoid stepping on Tulip, one of her Chihuahuas," the representative said.

Translation: She did a lip-stand to avoid spilling her pina colada.

"She is fine. This will have no effect whatsoever on her appearance on 'American Idol' (Tuesday) and Wednesday for the finale."

Translation: She will be sufficiently drugged in order to fulfill her duties as The Drunk One on Tuesday and Wednesday. A direct IV line will be run inconspicuously under the table and up her sleeve, feeding her a continous cocktail of...cocktails.

On Bravo, they are advertising her new show, I think it's called "Straight Up" or a name of one of her songs. Sorry, I can't think of it.
Anyway, on the promo, she's walking across the boulevard and stumbles....so Paula, it's so funny.

Hmmmmm, I think it is all a ruse to throw the attention to
her nose and away from her super-inflated lips.
I think she went in for a lip procedure and realized she
needed to get a bigger nose to balance out her face.

Yeah, what was up with Paula's lips? They were all smeared with vasoline or something! And it looked like her painkillers were working fine! (By the way, Ryan pointed out that he liked her *new* nose.)
