"Water Polo task was too easy"

The Water Polo task was made far too easy compared to the river rafting I belive.

Firstly, (I play water polo) you cannot let hellboy grab the ball with two hands and throw it in. Oh my god he is such a mamas boy.

The goalie also must be the worst in the world as he did not even put up an effort. Gus was wrong to do the rafting but they should have made the two tasks at least relatively close in the duration of completion.

Don't get me wrong most teams were smart but anyone, even the little person from last season could have a put a ball past that goalie.

This may lend more fuel to the fire about the whole "To be continued ..." cover-up scenerio.
I think it was something like this:
The original plan was to have the Internet Cafe the Pit Stop (without the 10PM bunching). But when Lori/Bolo got bolloxed by the Clown Cars, the producers needed to scamble. So they made the Internet a meaningless bunch point, hired a special 3 am train and put together obviously last-minute tasks. The Putt-Putt train/shopping cart was truely meaningless (though serendipitously providing some drama/conflict/footage).
The so-called "top water polo team in Hungary" was in reality just some locals out for their morning dip, recruited for a couple of spare Florint. The rafts were picked-up for a song at the Budapest IKEA (gratis, thanks to an earlier product placement).
The real first task was to have been the Spicy Barf Soup Bowls, (with the FF first available from there--)

Either that, or being the "top water polo team in Hungary" is the same as being the "top hockey player in Venezuela".

I do not believe the producers went out of their way to help Lori and Bolo. Many times in the past random things like car troubles or flight delays caused teams to drop back in the pack or lose by chance.

I think two players against one is a tremendous advantage in water polo and with smart passing back and forth by the teams, they were destined to score against even the best water polo players in the world rather quickly.

The same thing happened last season when the players took shots at a hockey goal while supposedly a good goalie tried to block the shots.

Maybe Gus and Hera could not swim and had to do the paddling task because the water was too deep for them to stand up in.
Obviously, this caused them to be the last team to arrive.

I remember last year the contestants were the goalies while real hockey players lined up to take shots at them. The season or two before, the contestants had to try and stop soccer players from scoring on them.

Now, if they had even one defender (I don't know water polo, but those people were just floating, I'm asssuming one can defend) helping to protect the goal, that could even things up. My cat and I could likely score a goal if I had a 2 on 0 advantage (not counting the goalie)

The best thing about the water polo challenge were the sexy one peice, high cut bathing suites the women were made to wear.

It's to bad CBS didn't give us more close up shots of the women by the pool.

And I am oh-so grateful that I did not have to see Gus in a speedo.

Unfortunatley, if the wife and I ever get to play this game, you WILL see my big ol' hairy ash in a speedo. And I can tell ya right now, it won't be pretty. So, it'll be like watchin a scarey movie... just cover yer eyes. HA

This was Hungary's champion water polo team?? They made the Russian hockey players from last season look like psychopaths on ice. This Detour was a joke. A couple of golden retrievers could have made those shots on net.

Nah - I think he was just excited to be on TAR and let the racers score goals. It was similar to the hockey event last year.

Everyone is entitled to my opinion.
