Bonnie was talking about her agent and said that "he calls me "sweetheart". A lot of women might be put off by that. Actually I kind of like it since usually I get called a c---. Kinda takes the sting out of sweetheart.

There ya go. Enjoy.

The C is for #### and the C girl was not funny, but she made it. Don't know why, but she made it. Guess it's better to be a #### in this business.

eh... I thought it'd be better than that. I agree that she wasn't that funny.

The Operation game guy should have made it. At least screaming lady didn't make it and there won't be another Dat Phan this year (hopefully).

Reason why Bonnie McFarlane made it was because she’s hot, funny and belligerent. Just the type of women I go for.

Hmm, Bonnie thought that Kerri set women in comedy back because she doesn't consider her funny? Bonnie broke two of my cardinal rules, so I think she does far more damage than Kerri.

- I have never been a fan of comics - male or female - who throw in obscenities to hide the fact that their material is sub-par. I'm not saying don't swear (folks who've known me on these forums for awhile would be rolling with laughter if I tried), but if you're going to use obscenties, use them creatively. Obvious example: George Carlin's routine on the words you can't say on television. There is a place for obscenities in comedy, but not as a replacement. That's a cop-out to me.

- Bonnie doesn't think using that term to refer to herself sets women (not just comics) back? I don't think I'm the only woman who'd disagree. She's just perpetuating a stereotype that some of us find derogatory.

I now know who I want to lose the first showdown in the house.

Have whip, will travel.

Personally I didn't mind that she used the C word, but then it happens to be one of my favorite words. People want it to be a bad thing, but I like to "own" it. Claim it as your own and it's no longer a "cringe worthy" word.

Saying that, Bonnie was really only so so in my book. Brett Butler was trying to say something to her and she (Bonnie) didn't get it. That being, do men tell you you have to do it just like them in order to "make it" in this business...and Bonnie answering "yes, they do". Bonnie was saying that she does it her own way, not the "man's" way (she's wrong, she's trying to compete on their level) and Brett was saying, that's exactly what you're doing.

Did that make sense? The painkillers are kicking in so, this might be murky...like my brain.

I see what you are saying Beebs but I disagree with you when it comes to Bonnie. I don't like people in general or comics in particular who are constnatly swearing. F this and F that. Ho hum. But in this case, the word was used clearly as a way to tell the joke. The so called shock value makes the joke - or at least it does for me. If she had used "bitch" or "slut" instead of "c--t" the joke would not have been as good or as memorable.

So, I guess the baby name "Bonnie" is now out of contention...

"How 'bout a birdy? I got a little birdy right here."

Even the other comics were talking about how Bonnie hung out with the guys instead of the gals. She's totally trying to be like "one of the guys". I think she's vulgar and just not funny (the fashion police should have arrested her last night). I hope she is the first to go (even before Ant!)
