Has OrigiHell been dissecting his nephew's game online anywhere the way Dick regularly tore Danielle apart? Not that RussHell gets to realistically criticize anyone's play without getting a six-ton kettle dropped on his head, but it's hard to see him letting TaliHantz get away without commentary.

I haven't been paying attention to the other boards, but some people here are and no one's mentioned anything so I'm guessing no.

He's probably busy preparing for his next reality show debacle, content to bask in the spotlight the current Survivor has trained on him without his even having been there.

Just saw a (possible) tweet from Rob Cesternino claiming Brandon will be responding to RussHell's Twitter posts tonight, same medium. I'm not sure whether to believe this. It's hard to picture Brandon stringing 140 characters together.

I'd check it out, but Fire@#$%ed and Twitter have been refusing to cooperate with each other since the last update. (The Cesternino note appeared in a search engine run for OrigiHell's account.) Besides, it's a Hantz battle: the viewing audience will be slimed.

Well if you look at it that way KiKi the record is only 200 because Rupert, JT, and Brendon all dropped the weight that was 220. Either way you look at it the record was broken.

Ok, that's what I was asking -- I didn't remember if the other 3 had dropped out at 220 & that weight was being counted or if they held at 220 & dropped out at next weight.

They didn't drop their weights immediately, they were holding up 240 pounds each for a while before caving in... so to me, that counts as 240 pounds held up.

ETA: If you go by the Olympic standard, the weightlifters must hold the weight up by something like 3 seconds before dropping it - so if we use that as a criteria, both guys lasted past three seconds.

The others had dropped at 220 so they went beyond that.

Well, Brandon did break a record in that he was the quickest to shrink in body size while holding up some weights. He really did look like he was shrinking!

From what I've read on the internets, young Toad Hantz is actually about 4'11". Or not much beyond that.

Trust and unity are 2 qualities you are attempting to base this tribe on, but they are 2 things that are 2 of the most difficult qualities to maintain...good luck!

Hello, Tribal was a joke today, they talk about loyalty, you need to be loyal to nobody but God, they over there being loyal to their god, which is Coach. Once Redemption comes, I'm going to spill everything to everybody....

Weird episode. The boot was obvious but, instead of continuing with the doubts that had been established, the editors decided to make Edna the decoy boot. Why resolve the Mikayla-Brandon feud now? One possible explanation is that Mikayla goes next so they wanted to put Edna in danger.

Over in Savaii, it is getting interesting. Instead of the alliance of 5 against Cochran and Dawn we have Ozzy/Elyse (Ozlyse?) against Jim, Cochran and Dawn with Keith and Whitney as undecided/undeclared voters.

Edna was the one that Christine and Stacey had targeted in episode 1. But, I agree, Mikayla and Brandon wrapped up their controversy WAYYYYYY too smoothly and too quickly. I thought the same thing, Mikayla will most likely be the next to go. They sent her under the radar so it would be a "surprise". Edna is Coach's sixth man/woman....she'll be the last of the three that are outside the alliance.

As far as Savaii goes, it is getting interesting...if they were to get Elyse out, it sure would be a blindside, at this point! Has she even had one confessional?

She had one of the first group of confessionals where she was talking about summoning her ancient ancestors.

Mikayla boot now wouldn't be a blindside. Upolu will win the challenge next week.

They set the story in motion to boot Elyse, but they can't do so 3 vs 4. Jim/Dawn/Cochran will need to convince Keith or Whitney to be in on the boot. Since both of them know about the hii, I'm going to speculate that Keith will tell Jim and the blindside will switch from Elyse to Ozzy.

Especially since at RI we will have Stacey and Christine spilling that Coach is the one in charge at Upolu and whoever the 2 witnesses are for Savaii, it may ring true that they should think about blindsiding idol bearing Ozzy.

My early out on a limb prediction:

Christine wins at RI, Savaii loses the IC, and Ozzy gets a rude blindside.

It really doesn't make sense to boot Ozzy to RI unless they're willing to send someone else to RI the very next time to try to beat Ozzy. It would be hilarious, though, because once again he's holding onto the HII.

It's true, if they want to boot Ozzy they should force him to play the hii first. Otherwise they have to figure he may win all the duels and come back into the game with the hii intact.

This should be an interesting episode.

I think it may just be Elyse getting booted. She's had no story and she wouldn't be expecting it. If they want us to think the Cochran-Jim-Dawn plot has some teeth, which I think they do, this would be the logical surprise boot. Keith may think it's beneficial to be aligned with someone who has the hii for now, but probably wouldn't be averse to booting their love interest.

As we know, when Jeff says blindside he means only for the person being booted, not the viewers, so it could very well be Elyse if Jim can get at least Keith (if not Keith & Whitney) on board. As of now, he doesn't have the numbers to do it.

A GREAT blindside, IMO, would be Jim getting booted -- thinking he's controlling the game, just lifting 240 lbs. in this challenge, thinking he's "Mr. Strategy" -- Ozzy/Elyse/Keith/Whitney figure out he's playing both sides & boot him. Of course, that would entail the four of them actually talking strategy & paying attention, which they don't seem to be doing.

That would also leave Cochran and Dawn dangling again, which doesn't seem to be where things are headed.

Jim seems less concerned with getting rid of Ozzy than with getting rid of any women Ozzy might be getting close to (see Semhar). Ozzy will most likely want to boot Cochran next, so Cochran must take steps to make sure that doesn't happen. If Jim/Cochran/Dawn pull in Keith, Keith may or may not reveal that Ozzy has the hii. If he does reveal that info it could deter them from targeting Ozzy this week.

This would be an interesting two-episode scenario: Cochran/Jim/Dawn and one or both of Keith and Whitney vote for Elyse this week. Next week Ozzy, realizing he may be in trouble, plans to play the HII. The others sense he will do so and there is another shift: the votes are split between Ozzy and... Jim.

oooh, I *like* this. Makes a lot of sense from what we know so far (as I pointed out in KO's thread, we just know so little about Keith & Whitney -- not 1 single confessional from her so far!). But I like this.

I don't think your prediction is out on a limb. I thought through the entire talk of booting Elyse tonight that it would switch to Ozzy when they go to Tribal next.

Brandon tells Coach that Stacey tells him that 3 of their 5-way alliance have something going on between them, right?

But wasn't Brandon the one who brought that up to Stacey?

Did I miss something or hear that wrong?

Brandon said something to her about "if you tell me the names..." after she started the conversation. He filled in some of the blanks himself and tried to spin it at Coach.

That was actually a smart move on Stacey's part, but too little too late, and Coach shut Brandon down rather than put up with it.
