"DWTS 13 Episode #1 ECST"

Posted by Snidget on 09-19-11 at 07:16 PM
Another opening, Another show, another chance for the stars to glow be asked, exactly who are you again?

This year we show that the political extremism goes both ways as Chaz Bono is getting the extra security Bristol Palin needed not so long ago.

We have some new pros, 12 new people who probably have their own wiki page, and as far as I know the same judges and band as the chances they kept that out of the 24 hour news cycle is between slim and none.

Any help you can provide with just what the heck that song is (or who the heck that star was) is greatly appreciated.

In case anyone who visits only this part of the board didn't hear, we lost Vince3 over the summer to a house fire. I'm taking the lead in keeping this going, but if anyone wants to take over this, just let me know.

"Intro"
Posted by Snidget on 09-19-11 at 08:04 PM
Different feel to the credits intro this year, still listed as Ron.

Brand New Ballroom, has more balcony seating I think. One staircase down the center . They seem to come down slower, not sure if it is because they are close together, or they are just not sued to them.

Stairs separate and looks the the band is under them and on hydraulics.

Megasized ballroom says Tom, and most talked about cast??

Raised and precarious new dance floor.

Shout out to the singers in the credits.

I don't know why they spent all that money on a new ballroom. They're gonna run out of stars soon (or haven't they already?) and the show's gonna go belly up.

Rough start for the ball player. Tough to be the first dance on the first night. Not much to it.

I'll just make a quick summary of the judges rather than a full reporting.

Len. Entertaining, no substance
Bruno. Go for it Dancetron
Carrie. Fun factor high, no technique.

They have a new sky box for the stars. Have to climb the long stairs to get to it.

14 out of 30. Ron says he should have gotten 12 (from each judge, not total)

Tom says it is Krawling with Kardashians in the studio.

I'm betting Cheryl screamed bloody murder when she found out Rob was her "star". I'm sure she'd rather have JR, Carson or Chaz. I can't watch him for long.

Gosh that was almost as stiff as Kim Dancing, must be genetic.

Bruno. Like a duckling petrified, hmmph I'm insulted.
Khloe yelled something
Carrie. Sees potential but a little rigid.
Len, not impressed, not depressed. Ok and too careful.

It is so hard to separate how I feel about him, from how much I hate his family. If I knew anything about him, I probably would pick him as my favorite Kardashian. Then, Khloe yelled out something and it just reinforced how much I don't like anything to do with the Kardashians though. Sorry Rob.

It's a 3-way tie for who I dislike the most on this group so far and Nancy is one the 3. I find her unlikable. That said, she did better than I expected. Mind you, she's no Kirstie Alley, but better than i expected.

I'll have a second helping of Tristan, please.

For someone who should be leading he seemed a bit behind for most of the dance.

He says he got lost in the dance.

Carrie. Beautiful vulnerability, need to relax a little.
Len. No superficial start, impressed. Showed the mess up in your face, cover it up and get on with it.
Bruno. Stay in the character.

David Arquette - not bad. I was glad to see the ex there with the kid. Keeping it nice for the sake of the kid is always good.

Ron Artest - meh. I felt terrible about his daughter, though. Hope she stays cancer free.

Chaz Bono - I don't know if the judges were being politically correct in giving him so much praise. He was good, but not great. I was very impressed that he was able to move like that (considering his weight).

Elizabeth Canalis - ok, but not overly impressed.

Kristin Cavallari - pretty good

Nancy Grace - I disagree with the judges. I thought she moved very smoothly. I think she did pretty well for a fat girl. She's gained a ton of weight since I saw her last.

Rob Kardoucheian - He did look good and had the right moves, but he was just too stiff. He needs to let it flow.

Carson Kressley - Love him! I thought he did ok.

Rikki Lake - she was ok

J.R. Martinez - not too bad

Chynna Phillips - she really did look graceful. I liked her.

Hope Solo - She was good, but needs to just be elegant.
