Everyone's abuzz in camp after getting back from Tribal Council. The villains are all asking each other if they knew Parv had two idols and none of them did.

King Russhole is now demanding for Parv's head for not revealing she had two. Parv's giggling about it all.

Rupert is bemoaning that he tried to warn Sandra and the other Heroes but nobody would bite. He's all alone by the fire.

Immediately after the commercial break, we see a black whale. Then we see Russhole not wasting any time in talking to Candice to pull her over to his side.

Reward Challenge. It's time for "Survivor Shuffle"! Wow, CBS is really splurging for challenges this week.

Slide discs along a board and the team with their disc closest to the red X wins. The winning team will go and visit Robert Louis Stevenson's home right there on Samoa.

Teams:
Parv-Jerri-Candice
Danielle-Amanda-Colby
Russhole-Rupert-Sandra

Sandra's first disc naturally slides right off the board. So far, Amanda's disc is closest. Now Rupert has slid one closest to the X. Free for all as teams are bouncing each other's discs off everyone else's.

Colby wins reward for his team with the final disc landing almost exactly in the middle of the X.

Mmmm, that's a rather nice looking mansion. Was Robert Louis Stevenson's home and it's now a museum with all kinds of interesting artifacts inside.

The three of them lay on an old bed, watching the movie "Treasure Island" on a flat-screen TV with popcorn.

Danielle finds the clue in the popcorn and stealthily slides the clue down the side of the bed. Amanda goes over to sit by Danielle and discovers the clue. We now have a CATFIGHT! Wrestling match between Amanda and Danielle for the clue while Colby just sits there on the bed, watching.

Long spat between the girls over the clue and they beseech Colby to play referee. Finally, Amanda coughs up the clue and gives it back to Danielle.

After they get back to camp, Danielle gathers around with Scerri, Russhole and Perv, acts out what happened with the wrestling match against Amanda.

Russhole and Danielle runs off to find the HII ... and Russhole finds it while Danielle is oblivious to him finding it and she continues to search the woods for it while Russhole scurries off like a drowned rat!

Russhole confides to Candice that he has the HII.

Thanks for doing this pepe.

Now we know that Colby is old. The guy can only win shuffle board and he doesn't get excited with a catfight.

The whole clue imbroglio was strange. I wonder if Colby actually voiced the ruling of the producers. Danielle found the clue so it is hers according to what we have heard. Or is it if she just leaves it on the floor? I think but I'm not sure that it was hers. Amanda should have proposed to read it all together.

After the commercial break... we see Sandra beefing to Colby that all of her original alliance mates are gone. She's now talking about jumping from the Villains and joining with the Heroes.

Colby thinks that Danielle will find the HII if she hasn't already, so that's why it's important for him to pull over Sandra and regain control so they can take out someone else on the Villains side.

Russhole and Sandra are now yapping. Russ is telling her that they now have 6 people with 'someone' flipping to their side.

Sandra runs to Rupert and says "we need to get Russ out now."

Each contestant will have 150 wooden tiles to build a house of cards - first person to reach 10 feet wins immunity.

Different strategies are in place right from the start on how to build the right tower.

Boy, Sandra really has a future in architecture, doesn't she?

"RE: Immunity Challenge"
Posted by PepeLePew13 on 04-29-10 at 08:39 PM
Jerri's the early leader at eight feet. Russhole's right behind her.

All Sandra had to do was to give her typical withering glare at her pile and it collapsed.

Jerri's now about six inches away from the top with Russhole another six inches behind!

Jerri wins immunity by the thinnest margin imaginable!

We have a confessional from Sandra right before going to commercial - she's all about revenge and making up for Courtney's boot by voting Russhole.

Post-TC scrum.

Russhole works on Candice to vote for Amanda. Candice in a confessional says she feels stuck in a no-win situation because if she doesn't go with him, she'll be targeted and if she does go with him, she'll piss off a few other people.

Considering the end result, that whole scrambling session seemed disjointed. I may need some help to interpret how this was edited. Particularly interesting was Parvati's words to Russell: "You wasted it". She knew.

"RE: Survivor 20, Ep. 11 -- East Coast Spoiler Thread"

I think she meant, 'Russell you should have trusted me and told me that you had it. I would have told you not to play it.' However that would depend on Russell succeeding some power to Parvati and that ain't gonna happen!

It's funny that he could put his finger on the fact that both Candice and Sandra wanted to flip; get Candice to stay flipped and have Sandra vote with the villains but didn't realize that he was no longer the target.

"The vote...."
Posted by PepeLePew13 on 04-29-10 at 08:56 PM
All of the heroes believe that Danielle has the HII.

Time to vote...

Russell votes Amanda. Courtney makes a retching motion with her face as Russhole walks by.

Amanda votes Parv.

Jeff: "I'll go tally the votes."
Courtney: "You do that."

Russhole stands up and reveals that he has the HII. Danielle put her hand onto her forehead. He's safe tonight!

The votes:

Amanda
Amanda
Parvati
Courtney laughs her head off.
Parvati
Amanda
Amanda
Parv
Amanda.

Bye bye Amanda! 5-3, you're out.

Russhole didn't need to play his HII at all.

have you ever seen so many dumb moves on one season

So neither Sandra nor Candice could stick with the Heros?

"RE: oh my"
Posted by true on 04-29-10 at 10:01 PM
Sandra obviously knew that Candice flipped so why would she "hang herself out to dry" with the villians when it wouldn't make any difference with the vote?

Russell
Parv
Danielle
Jerri
Candice

vs.

Amanda
Rupert
Colby
(Sandra)

Candice is an idiot who believed Russell's line of crap. I hope she goes soon.

"RE: oh my"

Or Candice has been with Parvati since the merge and she just baited Sandra.
It would explain why she let Danielle win IC and why Parvati knew that Russell didn't need to play his idol.

Thanks so much, Pepe! I missed tonight's episode, so it's nice to come home and be able to quickly find out what happened.

I don't get why Colby didn't help Amanda? And why didn't Amanda just quickly read the clue, then return it to Danielle? Maye it'll make more sense after I watch it.

"RE: oh my"
Posted by CTgirl on 04-29-10 at 11:10 PM
No it won't make any more sense! Danielle should have gone to the bathroom, read it and flushed it as soon as she found it! The two girls just stood there arguing and Colby was half-asleep throughout it all. He told them he was watching the movie (don't the best survivor players say you never relax, you never stop playing the game??!!) He really was asleep at the wheel. Once he realized what was going on he should have come to Amanda's aide or just told Amanda to read it out loud!

CTGirl, Amanda must have read your post, because I was just reading her post-game interviews and she says this is exactly what she should have done. She realizes it was a big mistake and she wishes she had not given the clue back.

Danielle should have shoved it up her whoo whoo and dared them to pull it out!

It was foolish to set up a fight. Need I remind these players that they are playing for $1 million? Forget the movie, dumbass Colby.

OMG!

"RE: oh my"

I don't get Candice's strategy. She's 5th with the Heroes and 6th with the Villians. So jump to the Villians?

Knowing Colby's been on the outer fringe of the Heroes all along why didn't she propose to Sandra to have a final 3 with Colby and a final 2 with Sandra? Knowing how Colby's been playing this season she could have taken him during what's usually a stamina contest at the end. There's no way she can expect to go all the way with Russell - well, a person with a brain would no that.

"RE: oh my"
Posted by jbug on 04-30-10 at 09:27 AM
It's still amazing me how many people RussHell can convince to trust him!
Wake up people! He's on the villians side for a reason;
Just because you've never seen in play before doesn't mean he's a good honest trustworthy fellow......

"RE: oh my"
Posted by SquidProQuo on 04-30-10 at 09:30 AM
Tummy, I'm with you. Candice used to be the one with all the smarts on the Heroes tribe, but not lately. In the Insider Clips she says she flipped because Amanda was lying to her and she couldn't trust her.

I loved how Sandra gave it to her right before TC!

"RE: oh my"
Posted by michel on 04-30-10 at 06:22 PM
I think it's fairly simple: Candice knew she couldn't beat Amanda, Rupert or Colby in front of the jury but that she could beat Russell, Parvati and Danielle. Her alliance was probably more with her Cook island buddy than Russell anyway.

"RE: oh my"
Posted by SquidProQuo on 04-30-10 at 07:28 PM
Her alliance was
>probably more with her Cook

As much as I'd like to give Candice more credit for being smart/strategic, I don't think so. Based on Insider Clips, etc., all indications are that Candice had a deal with Russell, and Parv was pretty much out of the loop on that. Looks like the next episode will bear that out.

"RE: oh my"
Posted by Brownroach on 04-30-10 at 07:47 PM
As a traitor I doubt Candice would be able to beat anyone except maybe RussHell, who's universally despised.

"RE: oh my"
Posted by michel on 04-30-10 at 09:41 PM
Any Villain that takes Candice to the end could see the others react like Taj when she said she would vote for Erinn. And Candice could get Coach's and Courtney's votes.

"RE: oh my"
Posted by SquidProQuo on 05-01-10 at 11:50 AM
I think this commentary by Stephen Fishbach pretty much sums up why Candice screwed up this week:

"The problem for Candice comes not so much in the decision she makes, as the way in which she vacillates between her alliances. First she outs Sandra’s plans to target Russell to the Villains. Then she takes it all back with the Heroes. But then she really wants to stick with the Villains. Flip-floppers have a nasty way of ending up voted out next, as neither group particularly trusts them."

Also, in the Insider Clips, there's a scene where Candice watches Russell talking with Amanda (and is clearly nervous/jealous). Then she and Amanda compare notes later, and Candice realizes that Russell promised her F3 too. You'd think that would make Candice think twice about going with Russell. I think her Nervous Nellie side takes over her brain after a certain point in the game, which is too bad.

"RE: oh my"
Posted by michel on 05-01-10 at 12:37 PM
But we aren't talking about what will comes next which I know you know but what could have happened from her POV. In this episode, Candice didn't do anymore flip-flopping than Sandra did yet I hear no one questioning Sandra's game. I don't have to wonder why.

"RE: oh my"
Posted by Brownroach on 05-03-10 at 01:19 PM
If Sandra had flipped and then remained allied with the Heroes, I expect she would face the same consequences in front of the jury. As an excuse she could say she knew she was next on the chopping block for the Villains, but I doubt that would really sway anyone. She might get Courtney's and Coach's votes.

No one who's won the game was ever a blatant turncoat.

I don't see why Candice would think she couldn't beat Rupert, Amanda or Colby, as you opined above. Rupert is a fan favorite but I don't think he's liked that much by the other players. Colby's been fairly useless, and Amanda lied to Parvati. A final three of Candice, Sandra and another Hero might work out well for Candice. Going with the Villains should, from Candice's POV, look not so good.

"RE: oh my"
Posted by michel on 05-03-10 at 08:31 PM
My point was that Sandra didn't stay with the Heroes. She flipped back and forth just as much as Candice but no one blames her. I know why. Spoilers.

Rupert may not be very well liked by the players but what about Candice herself even before this episode?

So, for Candice to be able to beat the heroes by staying with them, tell me what would be her jury argument? Rupert and Amanda could have claimed that they got there because they flipped Sandra and tricked Russell. Colby could claim that he played honorably. That would get Coach, Amanda and JT's votes. His abs would get Danielle, Jerri and Courtney's votes.

Candice needs to make a move to win and she needs a goat. Aligning with Russell gave her both.

"RE: oh my"
Posted by Brownroach on 05-04-10 at 11:42 AM
My point was that from Candice's POV, aligning with RussHell should have looked like a STUPID move. See Karchita's post below for a detailed explanation on why.

A tribe glows in Brooklyn

"RE: oh my"
Posted by Karchita on 05-01-10 at 02:22 PM
I think Candance should have figured that she would beat Russell, Perv, or Danielle in front of the jury and should have known that they would never, ever let her get there.

Candance should have known not to trust Russell at all after the stunt he just pulled on JT if for no other reason. But no, mere hours later, there is Candance falling for his bs that he'll take her to F3. Last season Natalie was never played by Russell and IMO deserved to win. Candance? deserves to go home.

I just finally watched last night's episode, and the thing that really stood out to me was Russell's comment at TC that Sandra can't get any votes, so she's the perfect person to take to the F3. Sure felt like ironic foreshadowing -- did anyone else feel that way too?

This definitely reminded me of when he told Natalie (right before the final TC in S19)that she had no chance to win. He's underestimating Sandra, just like he underestimated Natalie.

The last 2 weeks, Sandra's edit has really come full swing and it sure seems like they want the audience to be rooting for her as the scrappy underdog who takes down Russell.

Yes, RussHELL's comment jumped right off the screen, didn't it?

He can detect HIIs, he can detect disloyalty, he can plant seeds, but he can't detect what person he takes to F2 or F3 will garner votes!

I would say this is a deficit!

SU or BW has JT voting Parv. I guess we will see !

Here is SU's Final Vote Spoiler (it appears that RussHELL's stink attached to Parv)

Sandra
1. Courtney-Villain
2. Amanda-Hero
3. Candice-Hero
4. Rupert -Hero
5. Jerri-Villain

Parvati
1. Coach-Villain
2. JT-Hero
3. Danielle-Villain
4. Colby-Hero

RussHELL: this space intentionally left blank.

It would appear that the jury holds a grudge against RussHELL and looks upon Sandra the Underdogged favorably for trying to rid them of the RussHELL plague. Stink attaches to Parv who has no allies but RussHELL really.
