"Episode 5: Clues and Hints"

Posted by bigdog1862 on 10-10-02 at 10:33 PM
I thought for episode 5 I would start the clues this time. The episodes title is The Letter of The Law. At the beginning credits, they listed the seven deadly sins, but left number 7 out. I did not get to see which one was missing, but I think the one missing was lust. Also they meantioned the new group going for the money that looked like an O, likely another clue for a letter. They also seemed to highlight G a couple times also. My prediction, the letter is O with L playing a major role in the clue also.

So combining all the clues so far:
Episode 1: $1,045,000
Episode 2: Television
Episode 3: Orange
Episode 4: Peter Pan
Episode 5: O,L

I will let you make determinations to it, I have my theory. I think it deals with ABC cutting out Push after the 24th of October, so they have started combining clues

it's pretty much the letter G by the looks of things. A lot of hints are pointing out to it.

oh, and the seven deadly sins, not in order...

pride
envy
gluttony
greed
lust
anger
sloth

Lust and Greed seems to be the highlighted sins of the show.

"G hints"

Greed is the missing sin (G)
Letter of the Law - I immediately thought of G-men
Scene with Grace at pay phone:
G on side of the phone
G on key chain
G on book in hand
Guy grace meets at bar has G on his badge as well.

It's too bad they are yanking the show off the air. It was fun while it lasted.

Yup, G's the letter of the law. Another thing to add...in the title sequence, right after the first set of commercials, when they flash "THE LETTER OF THE LAW" up on the screen, there is a single note played on the piano. You might recognize that note as...a G. This same note also plays in the background of the scene where Grace is talking on the payphone grafittied with the letter G.

Take a look at the main story at pushtimes.com.

Craps Player Wins 85 G's

Still not sure what the letter G has to do with the law.

I still found it interesting that two lust remarks were made durring the show. This included dep. sharif about to shoot him, and she said "It will pierce the brain and hit the part that remembered the first time you got laid." And when he was invited in for breakfast.

Letter G is for " G-man".
Deputy Dawn previously flashed Jim a badge with Treasury Dept. ID., although this now seems to be phoney.
And '85 was the year when everything went peculiar in Push.

I figured G had to do with "Government"

None of you noticed "G" is the seventh letter of the alphabet?

Seven deadly sins -- seven letters.

If the letter of the law represents G-Men, can we assume that there is a government conspiracy going on. Everyone in Push had their tax returns 'expunged' from the database didn't they? Also, Ira G is getting pressure from his superiors within the IRS. Perhaps the Versailles is a laundering operation for the government!

Alas, never know it the first letter of each title means anything.

Good luck!
