It's Story Time again! Allegedly these stories will be of a personal nature... but we've heard that before and ended up with Zombie Gaga Paparazzi... *shudder*

This could be good, but it's probably gonna be a trainwreck... oh well

Of what the judges will be looking for in the different dance types via the Dance Troupe

Tristan/Nicole demoing the Paso Doble

Rumba by Ted/Peta (on a little stage in the audience)

Samba is Kiki/Oksana

What was that Samba Chick doing with her mouth, it was really distracting. Didn't seem to be singing with the music, and it looked like she was chewing cud, a really really big hunk o' cud.

I thought that also. Louie used to do that more. It reminded my how Nygle always talks to people about "pulling their faces".

Wendy's story will be about how she got started in the business... as a Radio DJ. She rested in rest stops instead of going home to take a break... Took her 23 years to reach the pinnacle.

Well, the dance should have been a Latin for this song, but what do I know. I wasn't impressed.

"RE: Wendy/Tony"

Wendy seems to be dancing in slow motion. I just don't care for her. She can go home next.

"RE: Wendy/Tony"
Posted by JessicaRN on 04-05-11 at 00:15 AM
I am so disappointed in her, because I really do like her and she seems so open on her show, but when she talked about how hard she worked, I couldn't help but think that she was plodding through that dance just like some sturdy, farm animal. She looked good in her costume, but wears huge heals on her show. Her short heels here make he feet looking heavier. Maybe they don't want her too much taller than Tony.

Think it's her time.

"RE: Wendy/Tony"
Posted by vince3 on 04-04-11 at 08:15 PM
Carrie Ann gets congratulated on her recent engagement before we head to Len to start the judging.

In general, the judges panned the dance, and I agree with them...

Scores: 5-5-5 for a total of 15. Ouch, but fair.

"RE: Wendy/Tony"
Posted by Estee on 04-04-11 at 08:17 PM
Did Bruno just tell her to take a laxative?

I think I figured out why Jacob's dial keeps going to 12: he stole Wendy's 6 through 10. This is two weeks in a row of The Most Restrained Woman In The World -- and that is not who she is.

Oh, and she needs to start bringing her own makeup people. The difference between her talk show look and this is startling.

I'd figure her for three to seven hundred dollars in tips per night at a midscale club. Higher if she adds a garter. (Once it falls, it's free for all.)

Chelsea is lucky that she came after Wendy. Entertaining.

"RE: Chelsea/Mark"

Ok, that's an amateur song, right, because between the song and the band, yikes!

Oh and nice shot of the carpet at the edge of the stage, Mr. Cameraman.

That was a lot of fun, although I think she's right, when it comes to shaking the hips he's a much better girl dancer than she is.

Also, I believe the alleyway booked some more rain.

"RE: Chelsea/Mark"

"RE: Chelsea/Mark"
Posted by Loree on 04-04-11 at 08:28 PM
Mark was in his element. He got to wear his spats and make goofy faces and act like a girl. Chelsea was a little tentative at times and her legs went stiff sometimes when she needed to move her hips. Overall pretty good for her 3rd dance.

"RE: Chelsea/Mark"

Estee's comments non-withstanding, Chelsie should really keep her knees together when she dances. It would be so much better.

Chris's story is about his mother, who got into an accident right after he graduated from wrestling school... and she eventually deteriorated until she passed in 2005. Tonight Chris Irvine will appear in the first time in about 20 or so years...

Okay, who's gonna sweep up this glass ceiling?

She needs the scores to carry her -- it's still going to be hard for her to win new voters. But we're seeing her determination in action: she'll drop five minutes after Tom tells her to.

Cute kid.

I don't know about that. I had a hard time getting over Louis as Hank. I like her personality, but maybe she needs a pole to not be so wobbly.

What the heck is up with that whole billboard business? How does who his wife used to "date" have anything to do with whether he is their favorite son or not?

"RE: Kendra/Louis"
Posted by Nume on 04-05-11 at 09:08 PM
I actually really like Kendra and hope she can draw the fans to stay in the show. To me it seems that she has the talent to become a very good dancer over the next few weeks. She's still a bit rough, but when she's good, she's really good (at least to me ).

Last week they performed a seamless Quickstep.

This story is about him losing a couple of his cousins, one to a car accident that he witnessed, and the other by assault by about 10 peeps...

In rehearsal Romeo was having issues, and he blamed the high-heeled dance shoes that he was wearing...

Did you ever wish you could see an applicant for one of the singing talent shows identify themselves as a DWTS singer -- and watch them get tossed five seconds later?

I know there was a dance. But the background music tried to kill it.

They might as well go out for The Voice. Everyone else has.

I always enjoy Anna's routines. They are usually fun. I think they are trying to save Sugar Ray and get rid of Wendy. She danced first and got the lowest scores. They saved him till near the end of the evening and bragged him up and gave him generous scores.

I think he realized what would be said about Kirstie and he felt bad about that. At that exact moment, I was thinking how graceful they did that move. (I guess looks can be deceiving).

Remember when Jennie Garth fell and she was lost for the rest of the dance? For that matter, Kendra was pretty thrown off by the smoke machine. I think Kirstie did really well and you can tell what a performer she is. I have more respect for her every week.

"RE: Depressingly safe prediction."

I thought the same thing. Right as they were doing that move I was thinking, Wow I cant believe they are doing that move, with her as large as she is (no offense intended), while making it still look so graceful and amazing. Like not that they could do the move, so much as just that they could make it look natural and smooth. Its a shame he had to fall, but she really has amazed me with her ability to dance and I think she'll still go far.

Early crash and burn in the dance when she was on one leg, and almost a second time in a dip... and I think it affected the dance very much... Maks may have even been injured at that crash. His thigh gave out on the crash, apparently. He crumbled after a foot drag across the floor.
