Tonight the Red Light of DOOM or sometimes known as the Red Light Special, will be fed the first sacrifice of this season...


Will it be one of those with a low score, like Wendy or Mike? or maybe someone in the middle who's got possible suspicious fanbases? or are we in for a shock and one of the leaders failed to generate any kind of support and crash out? We'll find out tonight.


As for the performances tonight, they've promised to reveal their own Dance Troupe, which I guess will help out on all the dances for Results Nights... or not. (Who truly knows with them?) Tonight's musical guest, much to the chagrin of Cheryl Burke and many others... is Chris Brown (he of a beat-down on Rhianna, his then girlfriend about 3 years ago... and a smashed window last Tuesday in the GMA building...)

Messter Brown is the reason I won't be watching tonight. I'll check the thread -- but if ABC is stupid enough to schedule a live train wreck, it's not always the best idea to be within sight range of the explosion.

I am sort of curious about ABC's current budget. A one-hour recap of the first four hours? That's an NBC level of cheap. Get ready for Shaq vs., Season #3...

At one point Chris' mouth was closed but I could hear his voice. He could at least attempt to make me believe he was singing live.

My local ABC affiliate admitted the performances were prerecorded, so the show isn't trying to hide the flub. Their report also added this fun bit: the cast boycotted him. During most live performances, the contestants and dancers stand in the Aquarium and applaud. For this one? Empty. They had no contact with him before, during, or after the show -- and many of them went to their Twitter accounts for angry commentary as soon as the credits rolled.

But gosh, imagine the ratings.
