I have TIVO and it's a HUGE help for pausing and rewinding and forwarding in very small increments. In the opening credits there is a quick flash of a picture of Jim as a boy (the same boy they use to show him as a young kid. I like to call him Owen, since he's the character Owen from Party of Five. LOL, but ANYWAY). Anyway, little Jimmy Prufrock is dressed like Peter Pan! If you have it on tape, keep your eyes peeled and you will definitely see it. It's quick but there. I knew right away. It was nice to watch the show with the clue already in hand.

BTW: What is everyone's guess as to what these clues are going to end up being? Money location? Who has the money? Jim's past? Any guesses?

Too funny. I knew I recognized the kid....thought it was a minature Elijah Wood. I miss Party of Five.

I'm just really hoping with this 'Peter Pan' clue and 'Orange' clue that is not going to have anything to do with Disneyworld. Please NOooooooooo.

Ya TIVO can be useful. The clues are probably going to be stupid though.

I think your right, we should share clues, at least till the end episode. I think the clues are going to get harder. As to what they point to? Maybe passwords, to get to the final question to win the money, or the answers to a quiz to win the money, I don't know, just a guess.

The Clues?

  1. "The Amount" - $1,045,000

  2. "The Black Box" - Television

  3. "The Color of ..." - Orange (or Red, I'm still not sure)

  4. "Storybook Hero" - Peter Pan

Any Thoughts on these clues?

It's definitely orange for the third clue. No question. There were so many hints to orange, some of which are: The title of the show "The Color of..." is in orange, the suits were drinking an orange drink, they show the "oranges everywhere" article twice (once in opening montage and once while Jim while looking through the microfish) and also the Spanish guy says something like 'the word is orange (the fruit) in Spanish". Also the TV in the sheriff's office was orange that ep and he made a weird point of walking over to the TV and pushing on it.

Let's just hope we can get the next ep's clue!!!

No problem. I'm sure I will need help soon, so you can repay the favor. ;) Also, I want to point out that the hint is orange, the fruit not the orange the color.

Why do you say it is Oranges not the color Orange? Not trying to argue, just want to understand.

Oh, sorry I should have elaborated. The reason I say that is first because the article talked about "Oranges Everywhere" and second because someone else on this board (who spoke Spanish) said that when the Spanish speaking guy spoke and gave us the clue about orange being the word he used the word in context of being the orange the fruit, not orange the color. In Spanish, they are two different words. Definitely interesting. There are some on this board who think the money is going to end up in Florida. I'm starting to wonder...."Oranges Everywhere". Hmmm.....

"Florida?"

ABC = Disney
Oranges Everywhere
Panhandle

Any of the other clues relate to Florida?

Hey everybody, this is my first post here.

Just saw something very interesting.
Episode 1: $1,045,000
Episode 2: Television
Episode 3: Oranges
Episode 4: Peter Pan

Take the first letter of each clue from episodes 2,3,4 combine with the money amount and thus far you get.

$1,045,000 TOP

They could be giving the directions to the money.

Some guy on here says that this is why it's Florida. I'll just cut and paste his comments:

that was until a friendly neighborhood field trip to barnes and noble, as it turns out, the davie, florida guess is still alive.

peter pan (the book, not the cheesy disney cartoon) was written by J M Barrie in tribute to 4 children who he had become very good friends with. their last name....
drum roll please....
Davies

im still not sure how television relates, but so far weve got florida from the orange clue and the silas voice mail and the town of davie because it is gomining.com's only project in florida, as well as its town office being on orange street.

What about California? Don't forget that Disney is there as well. California is also big on oranges and would explain television.

"The Amount" - $1,045,000
"The Black Box" - Television
"The Color of ..." - Orange
"Storybook Hero" - Peter Pan
"The Letter of the Law" - G-Men
"S.O.S." - Morse Code

Need a clue? Just ask Maddie at Seymour's Video Rentals and Check Cashing in Push. Scroll down the main page at http://seymours.myvideostore.com and look for movie recommendations.

"How to Steal a Million - 1966"
The Black Box Murders - 1975"
"The Blood Oranges - 1997"
"Peter Pan - 1953"
"G-Men - 1935"
