"Season 6 Episode titles(spoilers)"

The first episode title has been released. I had this in the rewatch thread but then thought it might need it's own thread.

Anyone want to know? *grin*

"LA X"
http://spoilerslost.blogspot.com/2009/08/episode-601-episode-title.html

There is a space between LA and X, not a typo.

So, it appears that our heroes will make it back to LA?

Read me.

Or maybe it mean "X" or "no way" to Los Angeles.

Alternatively "LA" = Landing Area, marked by an "X", so this time they land in one piece on the island.

I've heard too it could mean roman numeral X=10. 10 original crash victims remaining?

Or X= variable.

From Lostpedia:

Earth X: The "X" in 'LA X' stands for an alternate reality. It is commonly used in comic books including Marvel Comics which have an alternate history/timeline called "Earth X". DC Comics also had two parallel earths with similar names, Earth-X, introduced in 1936, and Jimmy Olsen's Earth-X, introduced in 1966

Thanks for the episode titles. I don't venture anywhere near spoilers from here on out, except for titles .

Very interesting. They kind of don't sound like their normal titles from the past. Very short, right?

"Lighthouse", could be a play on the dark and light theme?
"Sundown", could this be a Sun/Jin episode intead?

"Recon" has to be Sawyer!

Only 2 more months to go!

You've been hotpocketed!

Recon to me sounds military...I would bet that may be Sayid-centric??

"Premiere Date & New Night"
Posted by CTgirl on 11-19-09 at 08:48 PM
From TV Guide on-line:

First the island moved; now Lost is moving to a new night. The sixth and final season of the ABC series is scheduled for a two-hour premiere Tuesday, Feb. 2, at 9/8c, TVGuide.com has confirmed.

Last season, the Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse-produced drama held the Wednesday night slot; during Season 4, it ran on Thursday nights.

ABC also announced the regular cast members for Season 6, including Naveen Andrews, Nestor Carbonell, Emile de Ravin, Michael Emerson, Jeff Fahey, Matthew Fox, Jorge Garcia, Josh Holloway, Daniel Dae Kim, Yunjin Kim, Ken Leung, Evangeline Lilly, Terry O'Quinn and Zuleikha Robinson.

V star Elizabeth Mitchell is missing from the list, but she has been flying to Hawaii often to shoot guest stints for the show.

I can't wait!

Hmm, an interesting cast list.

Regular Cast Adds:
Nestor Carbonell = Richard Alpert
Jeff Fahey = Frank Lapidus
Zuleikha Robinson = Ilana

Regular Cast Deletes:
Elizabeth Mitchell = Juliet
Henry Ian Cusick = Desmond

Other random musings from Max:
- Sonya Walger has a full-time role on FlashForward, so it's a safe bet we won't see much of Penny in season 6.
- Emile de Ravin returns as Claire. She was never one of my favorite characters, but it'll be interesting to see how she fits into the plotlines.
- I wish they could've found a way to bring Mr. Eko back.

Should be a fun season!

another nifty agman creation

Sweet. I teach on Wednesday nights, so now I won't have to worry about missing LOST and having to wait until weekends to catch up on it.

Episode 6.09 - Ab Aeterno

Richard Alpert centric.

Most likely his back story..should be awesome

I also find myself quite excited to learn about the man with the guyliner.

Ab Aeterno roughly translates to "of remote antiquity". Given how Richard never seems to age, he could be quite an antique himself.

Tribe's the man behind the curtain.

Episode 15 - "Across The Sea"

Centricity unknown

I am leaving for Hawaii in two days..going back after 4 months to hopefully see more filming. I did catch some in October, but the scene still hasn't been shown..so I won't spoil it here.

Episodes 16 - 18 are the finale..so we may not get the title for a while.

"RE: Season 6 Episode 15"
Posted by zombiebaby on 02-25-10 at 04:13 PM
Sounds exciting! Yes let us know after the scene airs!

Across the Sea!!! I immediately think of Shannon singing "Somewhere Across the Sea" from Season 1.

"RE: Season 6 Episode 15"
Posted by Travel_Queen on 03-29-10 at 05:14 PM
Okay, the scenes I saw back in October was at "beach camp", Episode 7, Dr. Linus with Ilana walking Ben to dig the grave, and another one with Frank carrying firewood and Ben digging in Sawyer's tent. They did these scenes over and over, and it takes but seconds of screen time!

I am happy to say that I saw even more filming this time! Again, won't spoil for anyone..but they will come up in episodes 15 and 16.

The highlight though was meeting and getting pictures with Terry O'Quinn and Nestor Carbonell..they are both amazing and gracious men..and sigh..very good looking in person.

TQ

Centricity has been confirmed to be Jacob and MIB

..another mythological episode..if anything like Ab Aeterno it should be great!

"Finale episode title!"

Ready? It's obscure!!! Not!

"The End"

"RE: Finale episode title!"
Posted by dabo on 03-24-10 at 11:15 PM
Oddly enough, that's the name of the last song on the last album recorded by the Beatles. Her Majesty was an accident.

Oh yeah, all right
Are you gonna be in my dreams tonight?

"RE: Finale episode title!"
Posted by Outfrontgirl on 03-25-10 at 00:31 AM
At least it wasn't Live Alone, Die Together.

OK, so The Beginning of the End was the Season 4 premiere. This was a Hurley and Jack-centric episode. Maybe the End will mirror some of that episode?

dabo, I immediately thought of the Beatles. "The End" had a solo bit for each of the Beatles, is unique in that composition. Famous line:
"And, in the end, the love you take/ Is equal to the love you make."

Darker song ... the Doors.

"This is the end
Beautiful friend
This is the end
My only friend, the end
Of our elaborate plans, the end
Of everything that stands, the end
No safety or surprise, the end
I'll never look into your eyes...again
Can you picture what will be
So limitless and free
Desperately in need...of some...stranger's hand
In a...desperate land
Lost in a Roman...wilderness of pain
And all the children are insane
All the children are insane
Waiting for the summer rain, yeah
There's danger on the edge of town
Ride the King's highway, baby
Weird scenes inside the gold mine
Ride the highway west, baby
Ride the snake, ride the snake
To the lake, the ancient lake, baby
The snake is long, seven miles
Ride the snake...he's old, and his skin is cold
The west is the best
The west is the best
Get here, and we'll do the rest
The blue bus is callin' us
The blue bus is callin' us
Driver, where you taken' us
The killer awoke before dawn, he put his boots on
He took a face from the ancient gallery
And he walked on down the hall
He went into the room where his sister lived, and...then he
Paid a visit to his brother, and then he
He walked on down the hall, and
And he came to a door...and he looked inside
Father, yes son, I want to kill you
Mother...I want to...WAAAAAA
C'mon baby,--------- No "take a chance with us"
C'mon baby, take a chance with us
C'mon baby, take a chance with us
And meet me at the back of the blue bus
Doin' a blue rock
On a blue bus
Doin' a blue rock
C'mon, yeah
Kill, kill, kill, kill, kill, kill
This is the end
Beautiful friend
This is the end
My only friend, the end
It hurts to set you free
But you'll never follow me
The end of laughter and soft lies
The end of nights we tried to die
This is the end"

Clearly a reference to Hurley's VW bus ...

Also when Desmond was all manic, he ended his stories with "The End." I can see him saying it, but I can't remember which episode(s). Maybe talking to Jack outside the Hatch in S2, maybe talking to Charlie and Hurley in "Flashes."
