I got a clue on my phone from last nights show saying

UN Militiaman sound bugle

anyone get this ?

Is that what the clue actually said, "UN Militiaman"?

The only reason why I ask if you are sure is there are misspellings in your post (finally = finale, were = where) and missing apostrophes, so wondered if the clue is an exact spelling seen on a screen or one that you heard and wrote down in your own words?

Reason why I ask is that I'm not aware of the United Nations having militiamen ... but I'd understand it if we're talking about the militiamen from the U.S. Civil War fitting in with the theme of the show so far.

Thank you for the spell check .

I was voting to win 10,000 by text messaging , and I heard on the show I would get a clue back for the location of the live season finale . i got a text message back saying

Your Motorola clue is :

UN Militiaman
sound bugle.

that is exactly how it is on the text message.

I got the same (or similar) thing when I did the quiz on line last night. It said the phrase could be used to help in the other online game. I figure it is either a mistake since the other game ended last week or an anagram for something. I just don't have the patience or desire to work out what it may be.

I suspect you are right about the anagram.

Weren't their anagram clues in National Treasure? I don't recall seeing any on Treasure Hunters to date, so it's probably due, and as Pepe said - I'm fairly confident the UN doesn't have a militia.
They depend on countries loaning troops for their peace keeping activities.

I may spend a little time trying to figure it out, but I HATE anagrams.

BUILDING NATIONAL MUSEUM

is an anagram. Had to use the advanced features to narrow it down, once I found building was in there the rest went pretty quick.

Assuming the anagram thingy was right it does look that way.

Given the theme of the show ending in D.C. makes a lot of sense.

I thought they said at the end of the show, something about next week being "locked down". At the time I thought it meant that all three teams end up in the super secret chamber but no one can figure out the clue to get out. "The Key is Free" is another hint for the contestants, I think.

Now that would make for exciting reality TV.

All 9 players locked in the room. That slowly starts to fill with gold coins - the treasure. As the coins get deeper, the players get more desperate.

First team to solve the clue and open the chamber (saving their lives) win the money.

If no one opens the chamber before it fills up? They can recycle the prize for Treasure Hunters 2.

A couple weeks ago, during a preview of the show, it showed one of the guys on the Air Force team sitting around talking about the hunt. I'm thinking the actual treasure hunt was over months ago. The only live part will be the cast sitting around talking about their adventure. Thats a crappy way for NBC to advertise it being a live finale, when the actual hunt was over long ago. Still, it would be kinda cool to see them sitting around talking about the stuff you didn't see on the show. I wouldnt mind seeing the Wild Hanlons and their stupid ideas one more time. Maybe we'll actually get to see Laird in person. That guy rocks! Oh, and Air Force is gonna win.

I bet they all end up in that room where you had to use the token to enter. They will have finished up the show months ago and then the winner will leave the "room" which is the finale show set a la Survivor when they used to make you think they were all still in the wilderness.
