OK, I know I'm going to get a lot of flack from many of you, but I'm going to lay a little psycho-babble on ya. I think Robert isn't a creep, but merely has a misunderstood communication style. There 3 different communication styles. Robert is what you call a kinesthetic communicator. Kinesthetic communicators talk more from emotions and feelings. It's harder for them to communicate clearly because they have to sort through their emotions first and "feel" if what they are saying is right. And of course English being his second language doesn't help much either. Kinesthetic people are also more in touch with their physical bodies which explains why Robert is such a physical specimen as well. So, the fact is Robert isn't vain, fake, nor weird, just a little misunderstood because of his communication style. I tend to empathize with Robert, because I too have more of a kinesthetic personality. While I don't think he is a good match for Lisa, I am hoping he makes it to the end, if nothing else than to piss off her bitchy friends.

I like him, I think he's HOT. He's just the type of guy I'd like to whip into shape.

I hope the viewers do keep him around awhile while he doesn't really mesh well with Lisa, he does provide the comic relief that makes this show bearable.

I think Robert is playing a very clever game to keep himself on this show as long as possible and get himself seen. He's obviously a regular on dating reality shows, and seems perverted on other ones (even more so than on Cupid). He knows he is amusing a lot of people, and they will keep him on the air for a while. If Laura would back off of him, people would lose interest in his lame antics and he would be gone in a flash...it's the Robert/Laura clashes that keep people calling in for him (and I'm betting he knows that too, that's why he keeps doing things that he knows are going to set her off).

While I'm willing to stick up for Robert, I fear you are giving him far too much credit. I don't think the guy is quite crafty enough to be playing any mind games or reverse psychology to keep himself in the game. I will admit the guy is pretty clueless, but I just don't think he's a creep. I think everything he does and says is genuine, he just can't communicate effectively.

I can see that there is some communication issues, but the things that really bother me about him don't have to do with communication. The mirrored shoes, smelling the panties, and the way he was on Blind Date. These actions make him creepy.

Not to menition the boring dates and his crying for no reason. Even if this guy was on the level, how can you depend on him during a crisis if he does nothing but cry when he is stressed.

Exactly djk. The guy sniffs panties! Also, on the early show, where they were all gathered around the pool, he was telling her how easy it would be to take off her bikini top.

This guy is sleazy, creepy and a BIG PERV!

And, he's very entertaining LOL! I actually want him to stay longer so that I can have something funny to write about in my summaries

"Exactly djk. The guy sniffs panties!" And so have 99.9% of all men in America. Big hairy deal! Look, the guy is obviously clueless, but I don't think he's a creep. I'm willing to bet that every other guy on that show if given the opportunity would want a sniff of Lisa's panties. The fact that he did it on camera just shows he's NOT putting on an act. He's being real. Maybe a little confused, but he's real. The other guys on that show I think are full of it.

In the panty sniffing scene, they did show that right before the sniff that the panties were sprayed with lingerie fragrance. So that even makes it less of issue.

I'm thinking some of you guys like bashing Robert as much as Laura, now that's creepy.

99.9% of all men in America have smelled women's panties? WOW! I'll have to ask my DH

One difference though, they haven't done it in front of the cameras.
