Monday, January 27Evan begins to feel the heat for fibbing as he continues to dupe---and dump---his sexy suitors.
“He was pretty tortured through the whole process,” says producer Jean-Michel Michenaud of Evan's Millionaire masquerade. “It's not in his nature to lie.” What obviously is in his nature is a knack for killer first impressions, as proven by the show's ratings-rich debut. “It's fun for the audience...they know something that the don't,” explains Michenaud. “They're in on it.” And tonight, we're in on even more as Evan struggles to send off one of the four remaining women after a round of dates, including one disastrous dinner. Alex McLeod hosts.----------------------------
"one disastrous dinner" - As in Evan forgot about those forks?
Here's an interesting semi-related factoidAlex McLeod & Phil Keoghan (the sweetie who hosts Amazing Race) made a show called Best of Both Worlds in which they examine the differences between travelling economy and travelling first class.
We stumbled upon this show last night, which aired on A&E from 10pm to 11pm. The pair were in Hong Kong, and didn't appear to be together, but rather Alex was looking at 1st class, while Phil was going the economy route.
She visited a Buddhist temple, and we saw him visiting the Floating Village. We also saw him getting a meal that included Snake Wine, and cost $8.
Perhaps I should start a thread on it, in case anyone else saw any of it?
At the least it might explain what else Alex has been up to. Perhaps she isn't worried about her turn on Joe Millionaire mostly ending up on the cutting room floor.
