DON'T WRITE ME OFF JUST BECAUSE I'M NEW! HA HA

So, okay, congrats on reading my first fulfilling opinion...settle down, here's what I'll say! This is my first posting but I've been reading this discussion board since the show FLOM started. It's great to see others venting the same frustrations that I have. For now, here's the first biggie I have with the 2nd show: Why the hell was Munch the guy she chose? I thought she had a cool connection with the other guy (damn, I forgot his name). He was good looking and seemed to not be a doof. Anyone backing me up on this one??? Regardless, Erin's got spunk and she'll make this show suceed where monotonous Rob couldn't...I'll be watching for sure.

May I also say that, yes, I humbly admit that I am a "newbie". Please understand that I hold you veterans in the highest of regards and am here with an open mind and agree that the pro-Rob postings have been weak in proof. But, hey, they have been so entertaining that it has kept me coming back. Keep up the great relations...I plan to start jumping in from now on! Ciao...

hmmm well

i was totally shocked she picked this guy over chris

i honestly didnt see any reason to keep munch at all, I have a hard time imagining them ever being romantic.

maybe i'm biased and thought chris was a sweetheart, more gentle type, who seemed more sincere than most of them. oki the goodlooking part was there too, but thats besides the point.

i think she is nuts picking munch over him but oh well

Hi, Bella, and welcome to the boards.

I'm not really surprised that Munch remains. He's the comic of the group (as big Bob was in The Bachelorette), and he'll be hanging around for another episode or two.

Also, as Bob's (of the Bachelorette) popularity shows, apparently female viewers like the humorous guys like Bob and Munch. So Munch gets to stay in an attempt to keep the female demographics up and avert ratings disaster.

Don't forget..its ultimately about the money.

Erin spent quite a bit of time talking with Chris over the marshmallows. He might have said something about himself in their conversation to lead her to believe that he would take the money over her. On the other hand, she is slightly out of Munch's league. If she were to keep the Munchster till the end, there may be a good chance that he would choose her over the money since he seems to clearly be enamored of her.

That's just my opinion, I was surprised also at the time and had thought about it earlier.

Hmm, when I heard him say that his nickname was Munch, I couldn't help thinking about this:

Heheheheh.

Ooh, I brought a relative newbie out of lurkdom! Woo hoo!

I'm surprised nobody else thought of the Law and Order character.

Hey Lori, Just wanted to say how much I love your sigpic and the word "Outkungaloosh". Is it supposed to mean anything or just jibberish?

Thanks, ya big Palookie!

The reference is to the Adventurers Club, located on Pleasure Island in Downtown Disney, Walt Disney World.

"Kungaloosh!" is the club salute (complete with hand motions), and it's also one of the club's tasty alcoholic beverages.
To me, "Outkungaloosh" would probably refer to the latter meaning.

The club is interesting, as it has a cast of characters that interact with the patrons, performing in shows and such. Improv comedy thrown in without the game format. Lots of fun.

Well Munch served his purpose and now he's off to loserland. We all knew Erin would never take him to the end. But he was picked the first week as the shock over the better-looking guy.

What were they thinking with this wrestling match? Do they not know that they are being watched at all times or that it's a possibility? From the quality of the image, it reminds me of one of those cameras disguised as a smoke detector.

Erin is still in it for the money only and likens these guys to a party favor. Too bad, it all seems like luring the virgin in for the kill... ya know?

Shows like this and the Bachlorette are proving what anyone who went to a college with fraternities already knew. Put more then a few men together in the same house (especially if they are anywhere near their twenties) without female supervision and testosterone poisoning seems to break out. They start to reenact scenes straight out of a Discovery channel documentary on Neanderthal behavior.

I thought about this long and hard too...although Munch is now history, as well. Don't forget that Erin's objective is to woo a guy so he will choose HER over the MONEY. Then she wins her double or nothing bet. Perhaps she looked at Munch initially and thought that he would never choose money over her, being the hottest chick he's ever been near and he better hold on for dear life.

But he was in it for the money after all and she must have grown quickly tired of looking at his ass-face and man boobs.

I don't remember the guy she dissed over Munch in the first episode, either, but he was a pretty boy and pretty boys always take the money. ALWAYS. It pays for more personal training, more liposuction, and more martinis to get chicks drunk.

Relax, Max. It's a show. Not reality. It DOES NOT pay to get chicks drunk. Grow up, luv. Watch. Learn. Educate yourself. Munch was a cute cuddly joke. That's all.
