I agree. He looked really bad last night. I didn't get it either. He sounded great, but looked bad.

I thought he looked a lot better with longer hair. He does have an amazing voice, although I wouldn't by his music. I do think his segment was the funniest part of the season finale. And for all the carp Simon says about him, I think it took a lot of nerve for him to show up.

Yes, I was surprised and glad to see him but totally distracted by the weird hair. I didn't know who it was at first either!

"totally distracted" That says it all! He sounded fine, and the other dude was so funny in his reaction to seeing Clay. But all I could do was stare at the hair! It was awful, pasted down. Where did he get such an idea? Don't they have stylists?

First, I thought it was Elton John. Next, I thought it was Nick Rhodes from Duran Duran. But, man, he looked hot to me. And I am totally not a fan! He just looked so groomed. I really liked his hair!
