I saw it too and started a thread too - a mod will probably come along and lock one of them.

Don't worry about it, but generally when we post a "spoiler" before the show has aired in all the time zones, we put some filler or warning in at the beginning of the thread so our west coast peeps can still be surprised if they want to.

No biggie - just fyi!

The show spoils itself.

yes, but people in the mountain and pacific time zones haven't seen the show yet. If they saw "Hutch comes back" or "Hutch in previews", it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out Hutch was kicked off tonight. Not everyone wants to spoil the show, some want to just watch it and be surprised.

It's just a courtesy - especially since this show doesn't have a separate forum for spoilers.

If you really want to be surprised, message boards aren't for you--if you're a nosy gossip don't whine when you hear something you don't want to hear.

Like I said several posts ago - it's not a big deal - but it is something that we do on this and every other forum on the site.

It's not my request - it's a request of the moderators of the board.

Duotone,

Do you see the upper left hand corner of Lisapooh's post where it says 5,141 DAW postings? Do you know what this means? This means that with your 12 posts, you shouldn't be trying to tell her that the message boards aren't for her. She was trying to make these boards better for everybody. Have some respect.

I have noticed unfortunately, a lot of disrespect for each other on this board. The worst was deleted by the mods. It’s to bad, since we all obviously enjoy the show a lot.

I don't think I've had a chance to welcome you to the forums, Duotone. Please take a moment to familiarize yourself with the guidelines for this site, particularly the part about how spoilers should be handled.

You may also want to check out the parts of the guidelines about how to treat other posters.

Schmo airs here at 6:00 - the cable networks don't delay the broadcasts. So there is no real need for spoiler warnings (unlike most other shows on regular network shows).

yeah, like being wrong is gonna stop me Bucky. I can't win these days.

Reasons I hate Canada:
1. effed-up spellings.
2. inability to say garage properly
3. failure to be mesmorized by my .gif moving boobies
4. propensity to point out my mistakes
5. colored money
6. Celine Dion
7. cross country skiing

So I was mistaken and stuff - sue me. It happens so rarely. And at least I was nice while being wrong. How often does that happen?

"RE: Uh Pooh...."

5. colored money

You forgot the 'u'.

Besides, your country is now going to start colouring its bills as well. Copycats.

I can't speak for all Canadians, but I know that #3 on your list is not true with me. As long as I am on the top (or 2nd to IceCat) of the list of things you lvoe about Canada then things are cool with me.

"RE: Uh Pooh...."

Again with the Canada-bashing. Interesting. Let me comment on your little list:

1. effed-up spellings.

Which words are we referring to? I can spell "phlegm" correctly, can you? Some neighbour you are. Do me a favour and get a sense of humour.

2. inability to say garage properly

"Garage properly"? When will any human being use those two words together? Time to lower the meds.

3. failure to be mesmorized by my .gif moving boobies

Compensating in cyberland what you don't have in reality. Nope. Not mesmerized one bit.

4. propensity to point out my mistakes

I didn't point out your mistake, I just corrected it for you. Please see "mesmerized" above.

5. colored money

That's just racist talk. It's called African Canadian dough.

6. Celine Dion

No excuse for that no-talent, Jay Leno'd jawed, monkey-chest thumping dyke.

7. cross country skiing

We do that to get away from you frightening Americans.

Now, let us play Devil's Advocate and do the rundown on why Canadians think you Americans are obnoxious, overbearing, loud, pedantic, oafish, boorish, vacuous troglodytes:

1. Bible-thumping priests that are called upon by God to deliver to him millions of dollars and the incessant fornication of young boys?

2. The need to colourize old, classic flicks.

3. The need to colourize hockey pucks during FOX NHL games.

4. Your green money which is boring, unimaginative and full of dead presidents and a guy who flew a kite with a key attached to the end of it.

5. You don't have poutines.

6. You don't know what a poutine is.

7. Your horrific accents.

8. Your horrificly overweight and overwraught population.

9. Those of you who use "euro-spelling" in order to appear classy or worldly like us Canadians.

10. You don't have "Boxing Day" sales after Christmas.

That's it. I'm bored by you. Slippery out.

Not that it matters much, but Bucky and I have been posting back and forth about this for like a year now. I've already posted that it was a joke and apologized for it if anyone misunderstood or was offended. Once again, if for some reason you took this as a serious and deliberate slight against your country and/or you personally, I apologize.

As someone who was in a relationship with a Canadian for 3 years, I'm well aware with the many generalized and specific complaints Canadians have with America. Trust me. And if you choose to not be mesmourized by me or my .gif moving boobies, hey - more power to you. Once again: Long. Running. Joke.

Look, I have no beef with you. I don't care if you think I'm a flat chested yet corpulent hillbilly who is completely ignorant to the joys of gravy soaked fries. And if you want to blame me for pedophile priests, Ted Turner or any number of other things, that's just fine too. But if you do, I'm so gonna blame you for Shania Twain.

And as for you Boucky - you will always colour my wourld with lvoe.

Now, can't we all just get along? I have a whole passel (that's Texan for "buttload") of people I have to take crap from in my real-life sorry existance working for the man, so I'd rather avoid that here.

did you think I was sincerely threatening to hold him responsible for Shania Twain?

eta: munson, to be honest, at first his remarks struck me as being serious.(Of coures, I was slightly deunk at that time) After reading them again, I wasn't as sure. I'm still really not, which is why I tried to make my point jokingly. Especially considering his first post on the board mentioned how we all hate Canada. I apologized profusely on that thread because I had made a passing reference to hating Canada the day before. That's more of an OT joke and not something people on here would know about.

Look, this board has been pretty hostile and I think it's unfortunate. I want EVERYONE to feel comfortable posting here and to not go away mad. Or just go away period. I dont' want that at all.

Every now and then one of these shows seems to bring about some board flare ups: Love Cruise and Paradise Hotel come to mind. I'd be willing to write it off to Toni, if Joe Schmo didn't fall in this category too.

I want people to have fun here. I don't think that's happening lately. And I really hate that.

Good of you to use the Royal "we". And Jimbo? You're clearly new around here or you'd know what a sense of "humour" our Pooh has.

Time to lower the meds.

Actually, having read this board lately, I'd recommend rampin' 'em up.

Compensating in cyberland what you don't have in reality. Nope. Not mesmerized one bit.

Is that an on-line thesaurus you're using, or the ol' trusty paperback?

2. The need to colourize old, classic flicks.

We have color on our TV sets these days too. You guys should try it.

8. Your horrificly overweight and overwraught population.

Right, because you folks north of the border eat so healthy.

10. You don't have "Boxing Day" sales after Christmas.

Yeah, well at least we have Thanksgiving in the right damn month.

That's it. I'm bored by you. Slippery out.

FYI, that Jim Rome thing? Played out. Just sayin'. And you are so not getting "racked".

"RE: Uh Pooh...."

This show is hilarious for showing us who will be gone or back in the next episode. It's almost like watching the show in reverse.

"RE: Hutch comes back"
Posted by Guppin1234 on 10-01-03 at 02:11 AM
Yes, they made that quite obvious, and what's with the fake television executive. Maybe they found a legal loop hole that Matt's lawyers could slip through, and they put Matt in the hot seat in order to later try to use his own words against him. Anyone get a hold of the contract Matt signed?

"RE: Hutch comes back"

LAST EDITED ON 10-01-03 AT 07:21 AM (EST)

I'm thinking that they use the fake producer to bring Hutch back into the story by saying that Matt threatend Hutch as well. Just my idea.

Also I am suddenly convinced Matt knows from seeing the previews where the actors are dogging the show. This is obious foreshadowing to me, that the joke is really on them, and the fact that they think it is cruel, but are going along with it for the money/their big break is just as bad or worse than what the producers are doing to Matt.

"RE: Hutch comes back"
Posted by erikman on 10-01-03 at 08:18 AM
the contract matt signed has enough holes to drive a car through no matter what he said to hutch, matt has the producers. so matt has been paid off he probly had a say in the editing to brian said in his radio interview, he saw tapes of the show and what the actors said after it ended.

"RE: Hutch comes back"
Posted by queenkarma on 10-01-03 at 02:46 PM
I noticed that too! Probably what'll happen is that he'll come back on apologize for what he did and be there watching them as they eat the gross out food.

BTW....you guys know that the actor who plays Hutch is from HBO's Six Feet Under right?

"RE: Hutch comes back"
Posted by Zume on 10-01-03 at 05:29 PM
I'm betting that they say that Hutch talked to a lawyer and they are going to have to let him back on the show... much as they hate to do that... Matt flips out... they sit Matt down with a "network executive" and explain that his contract states that...

"RE: Hutch comes back"
Posted by Loree on 10-02-03 at 03:19 PM
Sounds like the way it will unfold for Matt. He will go from elation that Hutch is gone, to upset that he is back.

"RE: Hutch comes back"
Posted by Lisapooh on 10-02-03 at 03:24 PM
I think they'll write in that Hutch threatened to sue to be put back in the game and that he got an injunction or something since Matt threatened him too.

That gives Matt a chance to do his "violation of contract" thing and also gives them a chance to parody all the lawsuits against reality shows by contestants.
