NBC’S 'THE APPRENTICE' BRUSHES UP TO PROCTER & GAMBLE AS CANDIDATES CREATE AND IMPLEMENT PR CAMPAIGN FOR NEW FLAVOR OF CREST TOOTHPASTE (SEPTEMBER 23, 9:00-10:00PM ET)

TRUMP CONTINUES TO SHAKE THINGS UP IN SURPRISING AND UNORTHODOX BOARDROOM

NEW YORK -- September 21, 2004 –- Episode three of "The Apprentice" begins on September 23 at 9pm ET with the dramatic aftermath from Bradford's firing and Ivana attempts to come to her senses after narrowly escaping Trump's wrath. "Mosaic" and "Apex" are then summoned by Trump for task #3: to create an innovative, grass-roots public relations campaign for Crest Refreshing Vanilla Mint toothpaste. Working within an established budget, teams were judged by P&G executives based upon their ability to create the most buzz for this new product.

One team enlists the support of some celebrity power while the other team resorts to fun and games on the streets of New York. And then Trump shakes things up in the boardroom again as the third person is fired. "There were not enough cameras to cover the mayhem in this week's boardroom," said Creator and Executive Producer, Mark Burnett.

"MOSAIC": Pamela, Raj, John, Chris, Kelly, Andy, Wes, and Kevin

"APEX": Ivana, Jennifer C., Jennifer M., Stacie J., Stacy R., Sandy, Elizabeth and Maria

Week 3 Boardroom Exemption: Kelly

"For the first time in television history, a new product will be introduced and launched to America on a reality TV program," said Diane Dietz, General Manager, Crest, North America. "This is not simulated, this is not a test, this is true reality. Our consumers are clearly watching 'The Apprentice' so we could think of no better place to launch Crest Refreshing Vanilla Mint. And the reality is that our target consumer is buzzing about 'The Apprentice.'"

"Crest Refreshing Vanilla Mint"

Is it just me, or do those two flavors not go together? Shudder!
