We're now in the Semi-Finals, and tonight the couples will have to dance 3 different dances for our enjoyment........

Hopefully that will cut down on the filler tonight.....

Could someone please tell the horns section of that blased band that they're part of the reason that some think that the band is teh svck?

Tonight they'll be doing 2 new individual dances, and the third dance will be the knockout dance that they were gonna use during the double eliminations/dance off weeks.........

That was uncomfortable for the wrong reasons. I couldn't even tell the dance was a tango. Sad. I so wanted it to work, but between the dress shredding and Donny losing the musicality, it just fell apart.

Something went awry during the dance....... Donny blames seeing Marie in the audience, but it was possbily something that went awry with the hem in Kym's dress?

Three musical acts tomorrow, including Alisha Keys, and Barry and Robin Gibb...... Also last season's 3rd place couple Melissa and Tony will dance during one of the songs....

This'll be the first Latin dance of the night, and during the Latin (non-knockout dance) dances they are required to perform a solo portion........

Kelly was rocked by the news that the dog that she was taking care of had passed away.....

Kelly's solo was in the middle, but I'm not sure about it.......

No, she wasn't sexy/vampy/hot in her solo, but she has become so much more that her first weeks. I applaud her progress. Those matronly, British hips and clogging feet are gone

She's come a long way, but I still say when Louis has a hold of her she is a lot better.

It could be a confidence thing. If he has her in hold she just has a lot more ease, for me, then when she is by herself.

Next week in the Grand Finale there will be a Dance Off between Michael Irvin and Jerry Rice. Also one of the musical acts will be Whitney Houston.

Last week they were the first to get the perfect 30.

Mya set up some ground rules for this week: Late pays a fine, miss a step gives you pushups, breaks only last 10 minutes, and finally listen to Dmitry.......

They also camped out in their studio at least one night.....

Dancing the Waltz to Amore E Musica, it seems.

That last spin might've had a lift, but it was hard to tell by the dress......

I feel Mya's intensity, and that is offputting to me. She is very serious about this competition. I want her to lighten up and enjoy. Thank goodness Maks wasn't her pro, she'd be in traction.

Where did Donny come from: Born in Utah, sang on the Andy Williams show when he was 5, met his wife when she was 16.... tried to be a solo artist in the 80s which failed.... but he perservered.

Where did she come from: Born in Communist Poland, came to US around age 5, just her, mom and her sister. She had ballet lessons but had to quit at age 9 due to lack of money....... Moved to LA to pursue a modeling career.

ETA: Obviously this is Kelly/Louis, on their 2nd dance....

Entered the round in 3rd place with 24 points.

Born in England, lived on the road with her brother Jack during Ozzy's touring. Also was on The Osbournes in the early part of the decade, and her being thrust into the limelight caused her to dive into drugs for a time, but she got herself out of it......

That was fun and entertaining. Louis has worked wonders. I usually don't like him because of his level of focus and drive, but it worked for Kelly. Yes, she had a couple of oops, but nice.

Of Joanna, Donny or Kelly in the finals - I choose Donny and Kelly over Joanna.

Where did she come from: Born in Washington, DC. She has extensive tap dancing experience from classes in her childhood. Her singing was first displayed in school in secret before she finally showed her parents around age 14...... Around the time her parents were getting divorced, her mother also developed breast cancer......
