that's my feeling too, but i doubt jasmine will be there, even though she's repeatedly shown she should be

edit to add that jennifer and/or amy will unfortunately probably land in the bottom 3 (and maybe get the boot, God forbid!!!) this very lackluster week because jasmine/camile/diana have rabid fans that will vote vote vote no matter what

Good point. I thought Diana had just a so-so performance this week, so I only voted for her 8 times - rather than my usual 10.

*personal note* I can't understand why Fantasia and Jasmine are so popular, I think that Jasmine is over-rated, and Fantasia's voice gives me a headache. I think she sounded horrible today, but for some reason the judges didn't hear it that way.

OMH I was thinking exactly the same thing...I'm with your bottom 3 with John Stevens going home and Camille dodging a boot until next week.

You have the right to think Fantasia has a unique voice and that she's good, but that is your opinion, I don't think she sounds good and sounding like Donald Duck and Macy Gray's lovechild doesn't make you unique. Just my opinion.

Though I wish it was Fantasia if for no other reason that I absolutely hate her personality and she should be locked up for that outfit she was wearing (though I'll admit that her voice did not irritate me near as much last night as every other time). I also know I'll probably get flamed for having LaToya on the list, but she was just so off last night that IMHO she belongs in the bottom three.

Thought George, Amy, and Jasmine were wonderful!

I also think that the bottom three will be Camile, John S. and Jennifer. I HOPE that Camile gets the boot, but it may be John (he was horrible last night). Jennifer will get sent back to her seat, probably with an "I just drank spoiled milk" expression on her face.

Jennifer sounded pretty good, but I don't think she has much af a voting block yet (much like Kimberly Locke was a bottom three finisher a couple times at the beginning of AI2).

John Stevens just flat sucked. I'm done making excuses for him. However, he probably has enough of a voting block to stick around another week. That leaves:

Camille, a much deserved boot. Her confidence is so low right now, that no matter what theme they're choosing songs from, she's destined for more bottom 3 finishes.


An aside: with all the 16- and 17- year olds, how is AI getting away with keeping them all out of school? I imagine there are tutors available, but with the schedule the contestants are on, there doesn't seem to be much time for academics.

Jasmine and John S. said that they have a tutor and have to do a certain number of hours of school work each weekday (I think they said 3 or 4 hours). It has to make it more difficult for them to practice!
