So, he's not an astronaut, but an American Airlines pilot...no wonder he applied to be on Survivor for the million $! Sure sounds like he's indredibly athletic!

Well it looks like I was right when I said it could be Dan Barry cuz of his web registration!

Info earlier today from TDT that there's a Dan on the older mens tribe rumored to be an astronaut, and info from Surviovr Fever that Dan Barry was away from filming.

From TDT:

" For what it's worth, I've heard there's a guy named Dan on the older men's tribe. And it's rumored that he's an (ex-)astronaut.

I can't confirm that it's Dan Barry for sure, but he does look like a good fit, based on the domain name registration, as Bianca pointed out."

I got a tip at SurvivorFever around mid December from someone who thought perhaps that astronaut Daniel T. Barry is on the show. He was supposedly missing during filming, claimed to be "at Cape Canaveral" but returned on Dec. 12th thinner and with a full beard. Later seen (late Dec.) with beard shaved and putting some weight back on."

Great job, Bianca, and THANKS! He sure is very tall and thin, so it makes me wonder if there is something amiss with Chill One's spoilers now. With CO's spoilers there definately was a distinction between the military guy and the tall skinny guy, yet it seemed to me that the military guy was by far the supreme challenge hog....so is Dan, the astronaut the one that is the military guy OR is he the tall, skinny guy? If I had to make a "guess" as to who would rock the challenges between Dan and Terry, I'd probably bet on Terry as he's younger, a very strong athlete, and a pilot with all that that entails....yet Dan, being older and not the most athletic appearing is certainly extremely educated, has the "right stuff". This is going to be fun!

Also wanted to report that MayanSun over at Sucks has uncovered another very likely contestant. TDT confirms that he did hear that there was a Misty in the cast. Here's what MayanSun posted at Sucks:

This week I started getting a tip about Misty Giles. I have been unable to confirm 100% if she is on the show. Just can't say for sure. I guess we'll find out Monday.

mistygiles.com was registered on Oct 10, which was a Monday, I believe. She may have registered that domain when she found out she made the cast (if she made the cast). MistyGiles.net was registered Nov 11 during filming so that is odd but someone may have registered it for her.

Just putting the info out there. I haven't confirmed with other independent sources if she was gone during filming.

There are articles on the 'net about her. Easy to find.

Guess we'll see on Monday!

Danielle and Misty are both on the same team and they are both from Dallas/Ft Worth, hmmmmmm.

I don't know about this cast so far, no wonder a person went on an immunity run of 7 in a row against this batch.

Caps 1-5 show the 4 tribes of four I think preparing for a challenge. The team of 4 men on the red carpet are the 4 older guys tribe...I think. The taller, thin older gentleman in the black trunks with gold on the side is the retired astronaut, Dan Berry. I think that is Terry Deitz in the front on the right/far side as they are walking up on that red carpet with the short hair cut and navy trunks with a red/white floral design on the sides. I wonder if that's Bruce, the Asian man, walking next to Terry in the front, leaving Shane as bringing up the rear. I am more inclined to think that that's Shane walking next to Terry, so Shane is the shortest man, and then that's Bruce bringing up the rear. Cap 8 is of Bruce the Asian gentleman.

I think the young woman's tribe is next to the older man tribe on their right, and beyond them, on the blue carpet is the younger men's tribe. Note there seems to be a tall/skinny young man as well, so perhaps Dan Berry is not Chill One's, "tall, skinny guy" that is suspected of making the F2??

Shots 6 and 7 appears to be the older women's tribe under their shelter. I think that's Chill One's nurse, Cirie Fields, then Melinda Hyder, lying down is Tina Scheer, the lumberjill, and in the foreground in the pink top is Ruth Marie.
