"For Love or Money/Rob lost his job? What a surprise! LoL"

LoL, I heard on the news today that he lost his job because of the latest news about his military experience and from Monday nights showing. Why am I not surprised about this? I couldn't believe he was a lawyer in the first place! I just hope the girl he chooses goes for the money instead of love.

I totally agree! Usually I don't like to bad-mouth people, but come on, this guy is ridiculous! What i'm wondering is where the hell did they find him?? and WHY him?? I'm not sure if i'll be watching any more episodes. Although, I am interested to see his reaction after the winner dumps him and goes for the money. LoL

He was apparently renting office space, not really part of the law firm. They made him vacate the office.

I suspect they were looking for a reason to do so for quite some time, and this was just the right opportunity.

That makes more sense to me than him being a 'lawyer'
They picked a good time to pick him off the job, the guy brought this all on himself. I'm just surprised the producers chose HIM and not some other guy. I guess having him on there definitely does make the show more of a topic starter. LoL

You can just see the pattern that's developing:

First, they give these women the million dollar checks. Now the women are made to look like golddiggers wanting the money and not the guy.

THEN they turn it around and show what a loozer this guy is. Now, it's acceptable to want the money and not the guy! This is accomplished by some *timely* news articles in the media about this guy's loozer past and loozer present as a lawyer.

Now what? The show is filmed and will run its course, but I gotta think that one girl or two are going to "find" love and "not worry" about the money. But I'm even more sure that they'll do something to try to twist our emotions about the whole thing.

That's what they say now, but their web site wasn't saying that before. From Google's web page cache:

What A great find!! When I saw his e-mail address..I had a lot of nasty ideas...but i chickened out..(Probably invalid anyway?)Did you also read that he would like to act on soap operas!!!I could hear him now.."UHHHH DUUHHHH ..nice dress..Babe"LOL

LOL! I didn't hear the soap opera bit, he can't even think for himself and says the same damn thing to every girl. "UHHH nice dress! Sparkly." On the first episode, I could've also sworn he told two different girls he was from the same city they were from....sheesh, desperate are we? Haha!

Then he goes to munch on the cookies like a pig when "nobody" was watching, or so he thought. What a dweeb!

Not only that, he doesn't even talk with his mouth open. Every time he speaks, his teeth are almost clenched together. Did you notice that?

That's perfect! Good thing you found the website before they eradicate all traces of Rob from it. His credentials are a bit pale in comparison to the other two but I see he also has a BA in Psychology. Now that's downright scary! This is a man who is struck dumb by sparkly dresses and who does a 5 minute monologue on a dress that has a piece of shiny metal on it.

One thing I noticed from the Google page of the law offices.

Rob apparently got his law degree in 1994 but entered the Marines in 1998. Now four years is quite a little while for someone to wait before joining the Marines, especially with a Law degree in hand.

I'm not saying there's anything necessarily wrong with this, but most military lawyers come straight out of school, having come through an ROTC program. That Rob decided to enter the Marines a full four years after graduation is something that should raise a red flag for anyone hiring him. IMHO, this is just another indicator that his law career is struggling at best.

Are participants in reality TV due less circumspection regarding rumor than one's next door neighbor? Apparently so in contemporary America.

I don't care for Mr. Campos; I hope one lady takes the money and dumps him. However, he was

1)honorably discharged from the military -- no charge or conviction from an apparent indiscretion that may have come close to repetition on episode #2.

2)never employed by the Mathur Law Offices (neither was he apparently "of counsel" to the firm), even though that is what the sainted Associated Press reported--and then everyone else jumped on the bandwagon. He maintained an office in private practice (many lawyers do the same) within their office space, even though that is what the sainted Associated Press reported--and then everyone else jumped on the bandwagon.

In my experience in both journalism and in the legal profesion, when one throws mud, with or without justification, it often sticks.

Alima's "resignation" from Visitation School for her very honorable participation in the show is far more troubling than anything I've yet read about Rob. Where is the admin and member outrage about Alima's news?
