Who says these DAWs don't learn anything from the past? In this case, the teacher was The General and Tammy's alliance from Marquesas, which convinced Neleh and Pappy to flip by knocking them out of this challenge first.

Ian, Tom and Katie played this perfectly. They knocked out their non-alliance teammate (Caryn) then went after each other enough to hide their final-three alliance. I'll bet Gregg and Jenn feel great about things right now ... their mistake.

I knew what was going to happen and I was still shocked by the way that it played out. I hope they keep Jenn around a little longer so we have something to look at now that Steph is gone. Tom and Ian are very creative. As much as I can't stand caryn... she did a great job acting that out.

The problem is that they don't trust each other any longer.

Katie expects that Tom and Ian will keep her over both Caryn and Jenn. That puts her in the final three. And it's likely that either Tom or Ian will win immunity, so she shouldn't run into a final four tiebreaker. What's her incentive to switch and vote with Caryn and Jenn against Tom and Ian?

Because she's po'ed and has to have someone to take it out on.

Honestly, why she's po'ed at Ian, when he gave her word up about the Gregg vote, dunno. Maybe she thinks she can get to F2 but now has to worry about gregg and maybe Jenn not siding with her.

Or else she's just po'ed.

I was thinking Katie should have voted for Caryn on the first ballot, just to stick it to Ian and Tom. Then she could have apologized to Gregg for having to change her vote to break the tie.

An explanation could have gained her some jury good will from Gregg and Jenn. On TES, Gregg said he totally understood that Katie got squeezeplayed and didn't blame her for voting for him, but I wonder if he realized what happened at the time.

I don't think any of these goofy dames have the brains to figure that out, not even Caryn. There has only ever been one all-female final 3, and the best of that final 3 got 3rd. All-male or all-female alliances never seem to amount to much, no matter how much sense they might make in a particular game, because somebody always seems to figure out the pecking order, and that's when the fighting and the conniving get pretty deep. In this game we have 3 women left, none of whom likes or trusts any of the others very much, and if the spoilers remain accurate, it will get 2 of them sent packing in the next 2 TC's.

Isn't it funny how Jeff had a card with the star pattern on it during the Immunity Challenge? And he was actually looking at it! Does he not know what a star looks like?

When Gregg walked the walk of shame out of tribal council he didn't have anything with him. Did he come to TC with none of his stuff? Jenn also was shown taking her torch back and she had nothing with her either. Did anyone else notice that? Guess they really thought they had this one in the bag!

I noticed it. I think he had something he could have packed, but just really didn't think he was leaving. Maybe it was the same for Jenn, though I did not notice her leave with nothing.

can't believe Katie's "Tom and Ian want me in the final two because they know they can beat me" confessional. Not like Burnett to hand it to us like that. It'll be a hard sell to play up Katie's chances when he gives us a confessional stating the obvious.

I agree, Barnett is not going to show his hand in such a blatant way. I do not think Katie is in the final two. It will be Caryn, Tom and/or Ian.

Caryn is allied with Tom, Katie with Ian... Jen nobody. I don't think Tom and Ian will forgive Jan's betrayal too soon. If they vote Jen off next, Tom and Caryn are not going to hang onto Katie for the final three. I think they stick with their alliance with Ian. If Ian wins ammunity, then Katie might have a chance to go into the final three. Other wise she doesn't have a chance.
It will be interesting to see what happens this next week.
