""Break the Rules Next Episode""

So the preview says next week Donald is going to "break the rules for the first time ever."

What might that mean? No spoiler, just speculation.

Do you think he is going to (gag) bring back Bradford (ugh)?

What other rule might be broken?

Maybe he'll fire someone from the winning team?

Or not give this week's winning PM immunity after all?

Fire more than one?

Fire someone not picked by the PM to go into the boardroom?

Just brainstorming...

Bebo, I thought the same thing. so I am with ya on that idea. That would be pretty cool esp. if 2 of them are Ivana and Stacie J.

Maybe he will admit to being racist and bring Staci J back.
There is no reason a person can't be different from others and not keep there jobs.
This is like the times when:
White folks say a blackman killed their wife
Blackman raped their slutty daughter
Blackwoman has an attitude
Blackman scares them by standing up for themselves
If Staci J is crazy the all the cheerleaders are crazy.
Your Mom is crazy.
And your friends that tell you "cheer up it's going to be ok"
David
this happens more than you think

I had been thinking that since Trump said in both episode 1 and 2, the candidates would be there for 15 weeks... there is too many people to fire 1 at a time.

If 1 is fired each time, then there will be 4 left in the finale. (14 weeks of firing, then final episode) Granted, in season 1, there was an episode where 2 people were fired but there were only 16 candidates last year. Sooo...it is possible that he will fire more than 1 next week? It could happen.

But is that really breaking the rules since DT makes his own rules really? Did the preview say DT breaks the rules specifically? b/c I can't recall that. I just seem to remember it saying, "and in the boardroom, the rules are broken."

Is it possible a candidate breaks the rules in the BR? Do the candidates have BR rules?

I know, I'm just rambling and thinking in type here, but...

hmmmm...

Yes, it only said "the rules are broken".

Hmmm, maybe, next week, after the losing nominates team members for the boardroom the PM her(him)self is sent BACK to suite while the nominees battle it out with Donald to stay in the game.

Maybe the teams will be reshuffled through some new method.

Maybe Donald will get a hair cut....Nah.

During the next challenge, someone will use outrageous means to win. This could include investing their own money or providing some service/product not related to the challenge or bad accounting.

Someone will get fired before the PM makes his/her choice.

Or Carolyn will fire someone before Trump comes into the room.

On the preview, they show some people giving out boxes of toothpaste. I freeze-framed my VCR to make sure.

If you've been on this board a while, you might have seen the news report about someone being hurt during the filming of the Apprentice 2. Evidently, a non-contestant was hired off the street and they had seizures because they had a mental problem or something. They had to be taken to the hospital.

My guess is that Trump is going to fire someone from the winning team due or over the head of the PM due to the severity of the incident.

Yes, I was thinking the exact same thing. I wonder which team it is? It seems the women's team would be more likely to seek assistance in hauling boxes, I don't see the men's team asking a plump woman for help in this. Could Stacie J. be the PM for this task?

Of course, they may not show this mishap at all. I can't wait to find out!

who knows? Were there even any posted rules? I 'thought' it was anything goes... the contestants certainly don't seem to be going by any rule books.

As far as I know the only real rules are the budget. They have hinted that one team goes well over the budget. I think this is the rule that gets broken. If so - then my guess would be that the team that went overbudget will lose (ie their profits wont be as much as the other team) or even if they win they are disqualified because they didnt follow the "rules". Money is a huge sensitive issue with DT. I would also guess that if that is correct the PM for that challenge would be fired.

"There *are* rules"

The contestants actually are given detailed rules about each challenge that we don't see on TV. Here are copies of the rules for each challenge from last season:

I noticed in those dossiers that many of them had in there,
what time the contestants needed to be back in the apartment to hear the results. Someone could break this.

Straight from NBC:
THURDSDAY, The Donald Demands a Boardroom First And Takes Everyone By Surprise!

So we learn two important things here:

1) NBC cannot spell Thursday
2) The Donald is the one that will "break the rules".

By demanding something, could it be that he will actually insist that the PM take a certain person into the boardroom that the PM was planning to protect?!

"could it be that he will actually insist that the PM take a certain person into the boardroom that the PM was planning to protect?! "

Or, it could be as non-descript as DT insisting that the PM bring three into the boardroom with him or her.

Here's what my newspaper-included TV schedule says: The Apprentice Another candiate get fired.

Hmmm, yours sounds more exciting, sleeeve.

We could actually read this two ways:

1) "Demands a Boardroom first" as in an unprecedented BR, or
2) "Demands a Boardroom first" as in a Board room before the challenge.

It is probably the first choice, but just some food for thought.

I think anything could happen except for bringing Bradford back. Trump would look like a fool if he did that. He was so decisive in how stupid of a move that was by Bradford.

he might not fire anyone since everyone did good for that project even though that team lost

I'm guessing he fires two people. Shocker. Didn't someone here mention there are too many here for the number of episodes?

call it a wild hair up my butt..but with all the talk of sex last week and then some hunky celebrity this week...I sense we're getting set up for something here. Obviously flirting and so forth are allowed or Andy would have been toast last week.

However, this week there are semi-attractive women and this supposed hunk and what say one the women tries to use her feminine wiles to change the outcome of the task (*of course this assumes that said hunk is involved somehow*). Would there be a rule against coming on to someone that is directly involved in the outcome of the task or does someone go all Amy on us and actually try to sleep with the guy.

Just questions based on what they've shown us so far and MB's propensity for hiding subliminal messages in the most obvious of places.

Thoughts????

or, the project manager can fire anyone in the team now;
just like Kwame should fire Omarosa in the 1st season.

"THURDSDAY, The Donald Demands a Boardroom First And Takes Everyone By Surprise!"

So, I think this does support the theories that he either calls someone else from the team in, or calls in the other team (whoever's not in the Boardroom). And i think that one of the players "broke the rules", so Donald has to change the rules of the Boardroom. I hope he fires a few of them together!

Somebody f's up royally! Now this is good tv!

"Winning PM fired?"
Posted by mavsfan on 09-23-04 at 02:38 PM
We had a spoiler reported on these boards awhile back regarding the Crest challenge.

The spoiler went something like this:
A woman hired by one of the teams to help unload a truck during the Crest challenge became over heated. The Team she was helping/working for, failed to notice she was in distress. An off-duty Paramedic saw that the woman was in trouble and stepped in to provide medical attention. - That's how I recall it off the top of my head.

If one team gets someone off the street to help them again (ie. the men getting women to help sell ice cream), and it results in even a minor medical emergency, I can see Donald wanting to see heads roll.

Here's the problem. What if that team WINS IMMUNITY? The whole team would be safe from answering for their mistake, and the PM would be exempt the following week too.

So, I think Donald "Breaks the Rules" by making the winning team come to the board room for their unforgivably stupid mistake of endangering the woman (someone who hasn't signed 8 inches of liability releases).

I thing Donald would atleast fire the PM, and MAYBE anyone else who was aware of what was going on. (Some team members could be safe if they were away doing a different task).

the Donalds found out that Pam is an industrial spy and fire her. She studied everything about the ice cream bizniz which has nothing to do with the project.

"Maybe...."
Posted by Captain_Savem on 09-23-04 at 06:48 PM

Both the winning and losing PM are chosen for the BR and they must bring 2-3 people with them. That would explain the "boardroom first" and Burnetts "not enough cameras to record all of the mayhem in the boardroom comments".
