It started in episode one and it has been consistent in every episode...

Wolf's performance in the gauntlet was not highlighted as much as Whitlow's. If anything, Whitlow is shown as strong.

We won't be fooled again...

Whitlow tries hard at the gauntlet but loses to Wolf. Whitlow can't garner enough tags from the returning voters to change the outcome.

Wolf wins.

She may get beat in a few gauntlet challenges, but she squeezes past Wolfie in the final tally. Just saying, is all.

This is a difficult decision. I really think Wolf will win, but since the show's hasn't exactly been known for it's logic, I'm taking the contrarian view and voting for Whitlow to win.

Some thoughts...

Nobody will win all the Gauntlet tags, the jury will be needed, and the winner will win by one vote (for suspense!). I agree with whoever wrote that all the Gauntlet events will not be physical, as that would (probably) give Wolf the $$. I remember one preview with the two of them standing on boxes with a big circle on a pole in front of each of them. A stamina event like keep you hands on the pole in S1? First one to blink loses? Spit through both rings and hit your opponent's face?

I think the jury voting will go as such...

Thomson - Wolf. Since he was out early, only has his male alliance to vote with.

Pupo - Wolf. Hates Whitlow 'cuz she's a she.

Hutak - Wolf. Hates him but respects Wolf's military prowess.

Yaney - Whitlow. She liked his balloon gift better than Wolf did.

Brown - Whitlow. Hates Wolf more than life itself.

Moretty - Whitlow. Female vote.

Therefore, this means the Gauntlet will be 4-3 for Whitlow (7 events?). I also think this makes sense because they will probably go into the jury vote real close (for suspense!).

Or....

Whitlow trounces Wolf in each event, and the jury is sent home without even lunch. As Whitlow jumps for joy, a small bar of soap labeled "Ritz Carlton, Amelia Island" falls out of her pocket. DI McSweeney picks it up, looks at Whitlow (who's stopped jumping), and hands the $$ to a dehydrated, cramped-up Recruit Wolf who's passed out near the edge of Dismissal Hill.

Or....

As the $$ is handed to Whitlow, a chopper descends from above and (former) Recruit Park jumps out and wipes out everyone on the hill. He grabs the $$, climbs back into the chopper and yells, "You didn't even get the chance to know the real me!" He flies to Georgia where Haar is waiting, and they raise pigs together(happily)for the rest of their lives.

Of course, I could be wrong.

I think Wolf will best her in the gauntlet but Wolf hasn't made to many friends among the jury and that will cost him.

I haven't been close to right yet, but I suspect the producers would prefer to see a Whitlow victory. I WILL predict that the final vote tally will be 7-6 for whoever wins.

Dawg... I really wish you had NOT started the voting thread this early... there's still an entire week before the winner is announced, so, even though my vote would be Wolf at this point, I reserve the right to change my vote after Wednesday's episode, if any new spoilage comes out week...

Starting the thread this early was in bad taste... besides, it's shakes' job to start the voting thread, and, even though he's forgotten the past few weeks, you didn't even give him the chance.

Just my thoughts... anyway... I guess I'll vidcap again for next week for those that want to revote at the appropriate time, instead of in this early, very inappropriate thread.

The Gauntlet starts tomorrow night, therefore the points start adding up tomorrow night. Hence, we need to vote by tomorrow night.

I'm with you on this Dawg. I can see Sleeeve’s point but I’m looking at it from another angle. The way I view it is tonight we will see a lot of the gauntlet so we should be voting before the contest starts as opposed to after. Would we allow a vote in the middle of a Survivor IC? Does Vegas allow wagers on the Super Bowl during half time? Nope.

I just hate Wolf. So I have no logic for this vote except that I refuse to say Wolf wins.

I agree it will be close for suspense. So let's say Wolf wins alot of the physical challenges looking like Whitlow can't possibly win. Wolf is acting smug as usual and then everyone votes for Whitlow and Wolf loses. He breaks down in tears while I sit and laugh and laugh.

Okay Wolf didn't break into tears. But he did whine that it was all Brown's fault. And I did laugh.
