"Little white box with a red "x""

What's wrong with your gif pic when all you see is a little white box with a red "x" inside? The gif pics I have posted today are showing up that way. I went back to a post I made last week, and the gif pic is doing that as well. That makes me think it may be something with my computer. How can I correct this?

Thanks for your help!

You need to save the gif file to your hard drive and then upload it to the RTVW website. Do this by clicking on 'Click here to upload your file' which appears above the message box when you are posting.

Thanks, Bucky. I did all that a few months back and it seemed to work fine until today. I went back in and resubmitted it in my profile. Let's see if it worked.

The problem is that you are linking to a file at another website (www.animation-station.com) and that image no longer exists on their site. To prevent this from happening, what you should do is the save the file to your hard drive (right-click on the image and select Save As... and save it to My Pictures). Then you upload the picture to this website using the 'Click here to upload your file' which appears above the message box.

Thanks, Bucky.

That stinks; I liked that little dog image.

Yeah, I realized that was my mistake when I went to the site and they tell you to right click and "save as" on your hard drive.

I'll give that a try!

Now here it is upload to the RTVW website. Use this so the link never breaks:

I have a test sig pic and it has a RTVW address, yet it shows up as a white box with a red x. Why is it doing this?

Belle ROCKS!

I don't know where the copyright is, though.

All you need to do is type the words you want under the sigpic using a smaller font size. If you hit "reply with quote" to this post, you will see how I did it for you! You can, of course, use any verbiage you wish!
