I'll try to leave enough space so that someone who is randomly perusing the thread listings and doesn't want to know what happens in the future can safely avoid this thread.OK, for the rest of you, TVGameShows.net had a couple of interesting nuggets of information. You can read the article at their site, but it mostly tells you stuff that you already know. I'll quote the relevant portion:
"Unlike the first Race, which started in New York's Central Park and ended in Queens, the second race around the world -- taped in 30 days in January through last week -- starts in the desert in Las Vegas and ends in an undisclosed location in the United States. The 11 teams will again be competing for a $1 million grand prize."
Now we know where it starts, when it ended, and how long it took. Any other thoughts or comments?
Too pessimistic, SB. The word on the street is that TAR2 will launch on MONDAY, MARCH 11, followed right away by Episode 2 on WEDNESDAY, MARCH 13 ... after which the show will return to its regular Wednesday night schedule. So, on Wednesday, March 13, CBS will show ... Episode 3 of Survivor 4 at 8 (due to March Madness filling up the Thursday night schedule), followed by Episode 2 of TAR2 at 9. The following Wednesday will be the same (E4 of S4 at 8, E3 of TAR2 at 9), before Survivor returns to its regular deathmatch against "Friends" on Thursday nights. Clearly, CBS is hoping to get TAR2 off to a flying start!
