Jeff Probst stood in this morning for Regis Philbin this a.m. on the Regis & Kelly Show and provided us with a little more insight on Survivor 9. He just returned to the U.S. this past Sunday, August 8. Apparently, the survivors had it easy on the island with moderate temperatures and little to no bugs around to make them miserable. He also mentioned that the crew had it a lot better as well with bungalo accomodations. Lastly, he confirmed that he received 5 stitches when he tried to split a coconut open with a machete. No big deal however! He also mentioned that there were a lot of indiginous locals around the area and he had "adopted" a local family.

It sounds like the earthquakes were not a major issue, otherwise he probably would have mentioned them.

I hope since the location sounds easier that the challenges are tougher.

I only saw the part where Jeff was doing lots and lots of Push Ups.
