I CAN SMELL THE MONEY!

(BUT CAN I THINK OF WHAT TO DO WITH IT?)

Amber says: "Mmmm, now I can buy as many rice cakes as I want. Can I pay someone to throw up for me?"

(Someone from CBS was asked if there would be a delay at the reunion in case Jerri pulled a Janet. The CBS person, said, "We will never, ever have a five-second delay! that is ... unless we ask Amber a question.).

AND MARKOPOLO SMELLED IT ALL ALONG!
(Warning: blatant self-promotion of ego ahead)

Posted Saturday morning 6 a.m. on my web site.

Did ya get the Snewser-like Jurassic Park reference? See, Amber! How come 11 people e-mailed me saying they didn't get it? John Hammond, in the movie, holding AMBER. See the mosquito bites the dino, and the mosquito gets trapped in the amber and becomes a fossil....

(Ok, I give up).

AND WE CAN SMELL LOVE

Rob: "Screw da million dahllehs. I'm gehtting lucky tonight!" (Rob, you deserved it...and, hey, you got the money and the girl after all!)

EVERYONE WAS GETTING LUCKY AT THE REUNION

MB and Roma Downey are going to play "Survivor Tie-Land" later. And if he's really lucky, he'll get "touched by an angel."

Lex is in love with the cameras.

Some people aren't as lucky as Rob an Amber. Look at old Jeffy Probst smiling back there. What could he be dreaming of? .....

Jeff, there's still one more show next week! I hear Colby likes diamonds.

-------------------------------------------
THE LAST INSIDER (until next week when Rupert wins a million dollars).

Welcome to Survivor Insider, where the curse of the bambino lives on!

Just like Bill Buckner, Grady Little, Pedro and Wakefield. Now....add Mariano to that list.

Yankee fans rejoice! The curse continues! (NOTE: Markopolo is NOT a Yankees fan. He likes the Detroit Tigers, who lose so much that he can concentrate on his second favorite team, the Detroit Lions, who lose so much that he can be depressed and live alone thinking of Amber...and downloading pictures of her....OK....breathe, Marko.)

Amber almost lost, but then she wisely took off the hat!

A FEW NOTES:

1) Before I begin, I would like to send a message to CBS:

THANKS A LOT, YOU JERKS! WHY can't we see the jury votes? What do you have to hide? Give us a friggin' insider clip of the jury votes!

I WANT TO SEE SHII ANN'S VOTE (did you see the Shii Devil smirk after her vote? Hereby we will refer to it as the "SDS".)

GRRRR....

2) Thanks, CBS. The Finale was great. It made up for a shaky season.

3) All archives of the Insider are available at Survivor Network, where you can find them on my spoiler page (an ode to TrueDorkTimes)

http://www.londyscreations.com/survivornetwork/spoilers.asp

Thanks to Larry Londy for the web space.

4) If you want just the transcript, SurvivorFever.net posts it, minus hilarious commentary, in a few days.

5) Thanks for a great season. I really appreciated all the wonderful comments. I would like to thank all the people out there who make being a fan of Survivor and a spoiler so great.

-- Snewser for his excellent site, an excellent game and the best spoilers.

-- Orangeena, for letting me make fun of him, errr, her, errr it. Orange, you're the best!

-- SurvivorFever.net and its hard-working webmaster.

-- MESS Hall and SurvivorBlows for being the hotbed of spoiling. And helping me with my birth into doing the TDT-like site.

-- Everyone else who provided excellent support. THANKS!

-- And thanks to all those who support this thread. It takes about 3 hours to do a transcript, and I usually do this REALLY late a night. I enjoy the comments, good or bad. Remember, I do this FOR FUN. Though, if you diss me, I will come after you like Rob wielding an engagement ring.

-------------------------------
FINAL 4 TRIBAL COUNCIL
(RUPERT BOOTED)

-------------------------------

Rupert (votes Rob): You knew I was going to vote for you. Just like you said you were going to vote for me. I don't know. I don't know what else to say. I hope we both have two votes and we go to a tie.

Rob (votes Rupert): It's been a pleasure playing the game with you. I hope it's you tonight and not me. Thanks.

Amber (votes Rupert): It's been a honor playing the game with you.

Ginna(votes Rupert) This is hard. (pause). I still don't know. (pause for 10 seconds). This is for my daughters. (OH SURE, USE THEM AS AN EXCUSE TO PUT THE KNIFE IN RUPIE'S BACK). I love you. I need to take the risk of a friendship. Thank for my time in this game. Thank you so much. I love you.

-------------------------------
FINAL 3 TRIBAL COUNCIL
(GINNA BOOTED)

-------------------------------

Rob (votes Ginna): Ginna, you played a great game. I said some things about you that maybe you're not going to like me that much on TV. But at the time, that's how I felt. Anyway, I think you're a sweetheart. I wish you all the luck in the world.

-------------------------------
THE JURY VOTES
-------------------------------

Markopolo's note: THERE ARE NONE! CBS, WHY? WHY? WHY?

Anyway, when Ginna voted for Rob, I thought, oh no! I am going to be wrong! Then, Tom comes back and votes for Amber. Whew!

When Jeff read the third Rob vote, I was like, damnit!

Lex, Shii and Alicia stuck with Amber, though. And it was a nailbiting 4-3 vote!

BUT we don't get to see them! Are we sure this has nothing to do with the "Christy incident"? Christy voted for Jenna in the Amazon, yet swore she would never vote for her. Conspiracy theorists swear Christy didn't understand that you had to "vote FOR" a winner. Eh, Jenna still won, 6-1. It wouldn't have mattered.

-------------------------------
Kathy's Jury Interview
2 min : 08 sec

-------------------------------

Clip description: How does Kathy feel about the Final Two, and whom does she think really deserves the million-dollar prize? Find out now.

Markopolo's note: Kathy, in this clip, reminds me so much of Amazon's Jeanne (remember her?). But not enough for me to start disliking Kathy!

Kathy (jury confessional): You know, this damn game, you can play it any way you want. Any way you want. But you got to live with it. It's life. It’s life at its core. We're stripped of everything. The only thing left is what here (points to heart) and here (points to head). (I HAVE TO DISAGREE....AMBER CAN POINT TO A) BOOBS 2) BOOBS 3) ##### 4) ##### 5) BOOBS AND #####.)

So I don't believe in the factor that anything goes, because you have to live with yourself later. So I do believe that using your sexuality vs. using your physical strength is not the same.

YEAH, SEXUALITY IS WAYYYY MORE BENEFICIAL.

Nuh huh. As a woman, when you try to use your sex to call in favors (WHICH YOU DO ALL THE TIME!). It haunts you later on. If you're doing it with your boyfriend or you're doing it with a million bucks. She's going to feel that later.

So if she gets the million bucks and the jury castrates her that she used her sexuality to get to it, she's going to have a tough time living with it. She really will. She's a sensitive girl underneath, and she got caught up in the gusto to get the buck. So I worry for her that if she does win tonight and the jury plays up the sex and America plays the sexual aspect of it -- that she reeled the guy in -- she's going to have a hard time living with it. I know she will.

CUT

At the same time, Lex and I knew, even before the merge -- looking at Amber's reactions at the challenges, and at tribal council. She is definitely greedy. I mean, she came into the game feeling that she didn't play strong enough last time in Australia. And she's using greed to propel her forward. Like she wants that money. Meaning, she's using her sex and her -- she's beautiful -- to just totally snooker Rob. At the same time, I think she generally cares for the guy, because he was a shoulder to lean on out there during the storms. He's a warm body. And Rob is this Italian who hugs, and grabs and squeezes. (THAT'S VERY RACIST, KATHY. WHAT'S NEXT? YOU"RE GOING TO SAY ROB LIKES EATING PASTA AND STABBING PEOPLE?....OH....WAIT).

And it's exactly what she really did need. And she could play up to it. We saw a greed in Amber that was so strong it was almost frightening. And we didn't like that aspect of her.

-------------------------------
Lex's Jury Interview
2 min : 42 sec

-------------------------------

Clip description: Moments before the Final Tribal Council, Insider catches up with Lex as he gives his thoughts on the upcoming vote. Find out what Lex has to say as he prepares for the big night.

Markopolo's note: Lex got booed tonight, and for good reason. Boston Rob is a jerk, but he won fair and square.

And Lex stabbed his friends, too. Oh it's SOOOOO different Lex. Yeah right. Lex was so nice to his friends, which makes us want to sing like Dionne Warwick.

SING IT WITH ME EVERYBODY!!!!

Keep dying, friends dying

Knowing you can always count on me (to vote you out) for surrrrreeeeeeeee

That's what friends are forrrrrrreeeee!

For good votes
....and bad votes!

I'll be on your side....till council morrrrrre!

That's what friends are forrrrreeee!!!!!!!

------
Well you came and screwed me
And now there's a loser lodge I see.

And so by the way I thank you
And then for the times when we're apart

Well then close your eyes and know
This vote is coming from my GUT

And then if you can remember......
------

Keep dying, friends dying

Knowing you can always count on me (to vote you out) for surrrrreeeeeeeee

Come on tell me....That's what friends are forrrrrrreeeee!

Oh!!! For good votes
....and bad votes!

I'll be on your side....till council morrrrrre!

That's what friends are forrrrreeee!!!!!!!

That's what friends are foreeeeeeee!!!!!!!!

Lex (jury confessional): Going into this tribal council, going into having to make a decision as to which of these people deserve a million dollars -- I feel as if I don't have really, (pauses) there are no choices (pause -- he's at a loss for words).

CUT

I definitely find myself in a situation where I'll only be able to vote the lesser of two evils. It makes me sick.

Markopolo's note: Does the Amber vs. Rob vote remind anyone of Jessie vs. Zach in Saved by the Bell? Remember they ran for student council president? Zach was the cocky jerk who would screw over his friends every time (and then apologize when he got caught...just like RobFather!) Jessie was the smart one (OK THAT DOESN'T FIT), but she acted like a slut to get votes (THAT'S BETTER). And Jessie in real life, Elizabeth Berkley, played a porn star in ShowGirls (NO, MARKOPOLO DOESN'T HAVE THE SPECIAL DIRECTOR"S CUT....JUST THE REGULAR DVD, TAPE, SOUNDTRACK AND PHOTO PROOFS). I got really caught up in the script and story, OK????

OK, CHILDHOOD, DORKY FLASHBACK OVER.... BACK TO LEX'S CONFESSIONAL.

Lex (jury confessional): (Laughs) it makes me sick to have to write either Rob's or Amber's name down tonight. I was really hoping I would have a choice I was happy with. I don't feel like I have that this time around. Certainly worse than it was in Africa. (YEAH, THE PIERCING THAT GOT YOU THIS TIME WASN'T A QUESTION, BUT THE STAB IN THE BACK?) And I think you'll probably hear the same sentiment echoed by the jurors. I think a lot of us tonight are going to have a problem voting. And not because we don't know which of the two to vote for, but because we frankly don't want to write anyone's name at all on the cards tonight.

If I was casting a vote for Amber, I would say the reason was we simply were not as close coming into this game, as far as our friendship out of the game is concerned. So I might feel a little less wounded or disappointed with how she treated me in the game, and the decisions she made. ("SHE" SHOULD BE USED LOOSLY. WELL, SHE DIDN'T MAKE A DECISION, BUT SHE WAS DEFINITELY "LOOSE")

Umm for me, really, the vote tonight, it is just as much as I played a personal game and just as much as it was personal out there, whether you care to admit it or not, this game is personal for everybody. We all, virtually all of us, except for Rupert, came into this game with relationships with basically everyone of our competitors that we had to spar with out here.

And to say you can put that all on hold, and that it's not personal? I don't think that's honest.

It's going to be very difficult tonight as far as Rob is concerned. Because Rob and I had an excellent relationship outside of this game. So this sense of betrayal that is difficult for me to shake is going to have a lot to do with how I vote tonight.

(WELL, YOUR PETTY REVENGE DIDN'T WORK. ROB GETS THE MONEY ANYWAY! HE REALLY DID GET THE MONEY AND THE GIRL!)

And certainly the sting was much more severe knowing that Rob put a knife in my back instead of Amber. I would have expected it from Amber.

And so, not nearly as much disappointment as far as that is concerned.

Episode 15, Bonus
Vote for me, Part 1
2 min : 06 sec

-------------------------------

Clip description: Alicia, Amber, Colby, Ethan, Jenna L. and Jenna M. present their cases for why they deserve the million dollars.

Markopolo's note: These are GREAT! I transcribed what they said, and then I put "what they really meant to say."

Alicia: Look, I am always honest. Always truthful. I give it to you straight. I'll tell it to your face. And I'm not afraid to go toe-to-toe with people. That's the way I played the game from the very beginning. If you're tough, and you say what's on your mind, and you're not afraid to do that -- you should vote for me. Because that's the way I am, and I think that's a person that deserves the million dollars.

What Alicia really means: GIVE ME THE DAMN MILLION OR I'LL KICK YOUR #####! I CAN BENCH PRESS TWO OF YOU!

Amber: I need to ask for another million after I already got one, plus a beautiful engagement ring tonight. But why not two? So vote for me for another million.

What Amber really means: I look like Marissa on The OC. Give me the million dollars or I'll stay on the show. (WELL, SHE'S GOT MY VOTE!).

Colby: Alright, I never, ever, would be so bold to say that I deserve to win the million dollars more than anyone else does. But I will tell you this. Out of eight seasons, I am the guy that has ever stood by his word, honored his alliance knowing it was going to cost him a million dollars. Four years it's been; I sleep good at night (WITH MY MOM). I'd sleep a lot better if I made up some of that money (I NEED A RING FOR MOTHER'S DAY).

What Colby really means: If I don't get the money, I may have to let Jeff Probst be my sugar daddy, or would it be sugar momma? Let's just say Curb Your Enthusiasm isn't paying the bills.

Ethan: Listen, I don't need the money. But I think I deserve it because I will split that money up evenly and give it to each survivor's charity of their choice. So that's why you should give me the money.

What Ethan really means: The Debb Eaton prison fund needs your help! Also, what about Jenna M's charity, "boob jobs for the poor girls." Won't someone please think of the children!

Ginna (talking REALLY FAST!): Why do I deserve the million dollars? Because I have twins to support and I was third in all-star and if my foot didn't slip, I wouldn't need to ask you for a million dollars because I would already have it. (UHHH, DIDN'T WE FIND OUT AT THE REUINON SHE WOULDN"T HAVE WON?). However, I'm not here to plead for me, I am here to plead for Rupert. I betrayed him in the game. He’s the most popular on CBS. He's played two games back to back. He deserves it. Unless everybody that's ever tye died, everyone that listens to the grateful dead and everyone that wants to be a pirate doesn't vote, and they cut off Indiana and most of the southern states. Rupert's going to win anyway. So, I am saying for my best friend, that I betrayed in the game, vote for Rupert. He deserves it.

(HOLY PASSION OF THE CHRIST!!! SHE GOT ALL THAT INTO 30 SECONDS. MY HAND IS GOING TO FALL OFF, AND I HAVEN"T EVEN LOOKED AT AMBER PHOTOS YET!!!!)

What Ginna really means: asfAJFOILDKHDSFLJDSHDSJFHA;LKFYPOEWJRkh dashdflkjshdglkjhdsghsafljhladkfghsidhflasdhgkljs fhgashdglkjfhadsglhsdfashdflkjshdglkjhdsghsafljhl adkfghsidhflasdhgkljsfhgashdglkjfhadsglhsdfashdfl kjshdglkjhdsghsafljhladkfghsidhflasdhgkljsfhgashdg lkjfhadsglhsdfashdflkjshdglkjhdsghsafljhladkfghsidhf lasdhgkljsfhgashdglkjfhadsglhsdfashdflkjshdglkjhdsg hsafljhladkfghsidhflasdhgkljsfhgashdglkjfhadsglhsdfa shdflkjshdglkjhdsghsafljhladkfghsidhflasdhgkljsfhgash dglkjfhadsglhsdfashdflkjshdglkjhdsghsafljhladkfghsidhf lasdhgkljsfhgashdglkjfhadsglhsdfashdflkjshdglkjhdsghsa fljhladkfghsidhflasdhgkljsfhgashdglkjfhadsglhsdfash dflkjshdglkjhdsghsafljhladkfghsidhflasdhgkljsfhg ashdglkjfhadsglhsdfkljhgksfjdgkljadsfgkljdfgkjfdh!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Jenna M: Umm, I don't need a million dollars. And as much as Rob Cesternino wants me to come in here and tell you to give him the million dollars, the only thing I can think of to do with the million dollars is to give it all to breast cancer research because it's mother's day and it's the finale of my mom's favorite show. So, if you give it to me, that's what I am going to do with it, nothing special. So, it's up to you now.

What Jenna M really means: Cesternino can't get a date without money.

Episode 15, Bonus
Vote for me, Part 2
1 min : 59 sec

-------------------------------

Clip description: Kathy, Lex, Richard, Rob C. and Rob M. present their cases for why they deserve the million dollars.

Markopolo's note: AT THE BEGINNING OF THE CLIP, A MESSAGE READS, "JERRI ELECTED NOT TO PARTICIPATE"

Kathy: I know how to play the game of Survivor. I got robbed the first time on Survivor Marquesas -- came in No. 3. And I totally deserve the million bucks because I understand how to play it. I work hard. I appreciate the players. I play with integrity. I don't lie to people. I do know how to play the game. So give me the million bucks. I'll give half of it to my foundation. Bam! (snaps fingers)

What Kathy really means: My foundation....on my new mansion. HAHAHAHAHAH!

Lex: Why do I deserve the million bucks. Honestly, I don't think it's about deserving anything. All of us I think deserve to get a million dollars. But if I got to make a plea, I guess I'll just say. You know, I played the game twice with my heart -- the only way I can play it. I think you guys should vote with your hearts. So, if you guys decide to give me the million dollars, my wife, my kids and I thank you. Peace.

What Lex really means: You just booed me, so there's no chance in hell that my GUT is going to tell me that you're giving the money to me.

Richard: All of us here are good folks. We really are. All of them. All the people that are teary and angry et cetera. But give it to the guy who's played the game best. That's me.

What Richard really means: Gay weddings are twice as expensive! San Francisco lodging ain't cheap!

Rob C: Hey guys, remember me? (DIDN'T I BEAT YOU UP IN HIGH SCHOOL?) Rob C. Your old buddy from Survivor The Amazon. Here's my pitch to you. I was the greatest player never to win. I lost twice. I'm not going to have another chance at this. This is your chance to hook a brotha up. But, here's what I will do. If I win, I will give half the money to Rupert. And I'll take Big Tom out to dinner. Half the money to Rupert. Big Tom out to dinner. Rob player. Cesternino out!

What Rob C really means: Damnit, Rupert is going to win, and there's nothing I can do about it.

Rob M: So Why do I deserve the million dollars. Well, anybody that watched tonight, I think we all saw that we had a jury of sour grapes. Let's make my dream come true. Give me a million dollars. I think everybody knows that I play the game the best. That's it. Straight up. Honest. You want honesty? This time, I'm not lying. Give me the million.

What RobFather really meant: Give me the million or you'll be sleeping with the fishes. C'mon, please, that ring was a Kobe deluxe -- $4 million. And I haven't even cheated on Ambehh with an 18-year old yet.

Episode 15, Bonus
Vote for me, Part 3
2 min : 40 sec

-------------------------------

Clip description: Rudy, Rupert, Shii Ann, Susan, Tina and Tom present their cases for why they deserve the million dollars.

Rudy: If I win the million dollars, I'm going to give it to my kids. And I don't like people mooching money off me. I just say, go see my kids. Cuz that happened before.

What Rudy really means: Metamucil is more expensive than gasoline.

Rupert: The reason I need that million dollars, let alone the fact that my daughter turns five on the 13th, let alone that this will be my third time, my third chance. Third times the charm. But it would help my family, myself, my momma, my kids I mentor, my kids help program that I am starting. There are so many people in Indianapolis that this would help. (pauses) You know, I appreciate, win or lose, I appreciate it on the count of everybody out there. Thanks.

What Rupert really means: What time do the malls open tomorrow? ..... I need to buy a few of them. (hahahahaha)

Shii Ann: It's been four months, but I still want to win this game as much as ever. I played as hard as I could in the show, beating out all the other Mogo Mogo members, even in the end winning immunity. And I feel like I deserve the million dollars because of my strategy, because of my ability to outwit, outplay and outlast all of members. And because of the reason that I didn’t win was because of a merge that was against our favor. So, hopefully, you'll vote for me and I'll be seeing you at the next finale. Thanks.

What Shii Ann really means: I have no chance in hell to win, so I am going to spout off useless garbage and clichés like a freakin sports star.

Susan: Hey, you might love me or hate me. But be as it may, I did suck you people into watching this game (SHE HAS A POINT) from Survivor 1. And if you don't vote for me, I hope you lie dying of thirst in a desert. And the vultures pluck your eyeballs out. And the only thing left in the end, will be your teeth. (smiles).

What Susan really means: Even with an extreme makeover, I still look ugly. PLEASE HELP ME!

Tina: Hi guys. I am supposed to tell you why you should vote for me to win a million bucks. Truth of the matter is, Survivor's already given me a million bucks. (FUNNY, BUT I THOUGHT COLBY DID). And I don't need it. Nor do I not want it. I think you ought to vote for someone who's going to do good with the money. Because it's a great opportunity to help other people. And so, whoever you vote for, vote for someone who's going to give the money away to other people. God bless you all. (IF I WON THE MILLION, I WOULD GIVE IT TO THE NICELY DRESSED YOUNG WOMEN AT THE STREET CORNER...SEE...I AM GIVING IT AWAY, TINA! VOTE FOR ME!)

What Tina really means: Blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. Blah; blah. Blah! Blah, blah -- blah? Blah!

Tom: Hey guys, I want to thank you all for even having me on All Star, but I got another question. The first time in Africa I lost 62 pounds and I stayed 30-some days. Didn't win the million. Didn't win any money (LYING AGAIN, HUH?) This time, I learned to swim, and stayed 30-some days, which makes me the longest-playing survivor. I stayed the longest. So give me your vote -- for -- the million dollars. I appreciate it (SMILE). But, I'm pretty much deserving it too. I hope so. Anyway, I played the game straight up, and that's the deal.

What Tom really means: I'm a dumbass, and so is my son. If I win the million, I can hire someone to help me learn to read and pass a urine test.

-------------------------------
Amber Time
2 min : 46 sec

-------------------------------

Clip description: Watch Amber look back on her time spent on the island as she realizes that she is part of the Final Two!

Markopolo's note: This is a GREAT clip. It surprised me how much Amber really did know what was going on. Why do I keep thinking she's dumber than Heidi Strobel?

Amber (confessional): If I had to guess how everybody is going to vote, I would say that, Jenna and Rupert are both going to vote for Rob. I would say that, Shii Ann and Big Tom are both going to vote for me.

And I'd say that Kathy and Lex will probably vote for Rob. And I think Alicia will vote for me.

Markopolo's note: WOW!!!!! She almost got it perfectly! WOW!

I don't think I am a definite win. So many people kept telling Rob, "Oh you're crazy going against Amber in the Final 2. She's definitely going to win."

I don't think everybody will see it like that.

Lex and Kathy aren't happy with Rob, but that doesn't mean that they don't think he was a better player than me in the game. I mean I don't know how much people are going to let their feelings weight into their decision.

If it affected them that much, then I do hope they vote for me. But I think that some people will try to put their feelings aside and vote for who they feel was the better person in the game.

CUT

Well based on the votes I've gone through, I think Rob will win. But I think it will be close. I think it will be a 3-4 deal. I don't think it'll be a landslide either way.

CUT

It's very nerve-racking because I want to win. But, I mean, the game has turned out the exact way I wanted it to turn out. So if I can't control this last thing, I can't control this last thing.

CUT

If I get the million, I don't think Rob will regret taking me with him. I think every decision in this game, he's thought through from the beginning until the end. And I don't think he's made any decision he'll regret. No matter what happens.

CUT

I think if Rob took Jenna, it still would have been close. I still think they've made the equal amount of friends and enemies in this game. And I don't think he had a bigger advantaging taking me or Jenna. I think the three of us would have been very tight (UHH...WHAT EXACTLY ARE WE TALKING ABOUT HERE? TIGHT?) no matter what in getting people's votes and not getting people's votes.

CUT

I think the vibe of the jury is going to be pretty cold. I don't think any of the jury is going to be overly friendly and all happy-go-lucky, "Congratulations guys, I am so happy for you. I don't have a question to ask, because I'm so happy. And I want to congratulate you for getting the whole way through the game." (WHAT'S THIS? AMBER MADE A FUNNY?) I don't think we'll hear any of that. I think everyone is going to have a very serious question to ask.

-------------------------------
RUPERT'S FINAL WORDS
3 min : 03 sec

-------------------------------

Rupert: The reason that I wanted to come back for All stars was not the million dollars. It was not the money at all. It was to finish my adventure, to finish my journey that I had started in pearl islands and had not finished. I started a journey inside myself of self-awareness, self-improvement, realization of who I truly am.

I came into pearl islands still believing I was that worthless little kid that I was always told I was, and I left almost believing that that was still true. I understood why I believed that in pearl islands, but I couldn't kick the fact that I still felt like a failure.

I had so many shoulda, coulda, wouldas that when I got the call to say, Do you want to do all-stars? There was not more than two seconds hesitation before I said, Of course. And then I hang up the phone, and I try to explain to my wife and my daughter that yes.

I'm just back, and yes, I said I wasn't leaving again, but I'm going to finish my journey.

Probably by day 19 I had realized there is no need to be that scary-##### person who pushed people away any more. It started on the second day when we came out and Saboga was left till last.

I was in the back of the row of Saboga coming out, and I hear people saying, That's Rupert. The people that I idolized saying, that's Rupert. The people that I would have stood in line for hours to get their autographs saying, That's Rupert.

I walk away from all stars knowing I played the game with honor, I played it against the best of the best, I didn't play conniver, and I made it to the final 4. I walk away feeling very good about my game.

-------------------------------
GINNA'S FINAL WORDS
2 min : 20 sec

-------------------------------

Ginna (final words): I wanted to do this the second time around because when I applied for the first survivor, nobody knew how to play.

Richard Hatch kind of copyrighted alliance and the whole strategic way to win this game, so I was kind of a blind mouse out there on the first show. I got blindsided; I didn't try to form alliances; I wasn't observant; I was just there to physically survive. Whereas this one, I felt like there was a second chance to at least play the game better, to play the game smarter. That's what I did, and the whole way through I'm very proud of that. I think I did exactly what I came out here to do. I lasted longer, came a lot further, and I was much smarter about playing. I was a much better Survivor this time.

The biggest difference from the first time to the second time was me being aware.

I was so caught up. I guess I gained so much clarity on my life from the first one, and it really was a life-altering experience that I got caught up in that instead of actually playing the game to win. Whereas this time, I knew that aspect. I knew the physical suffering, I knew all that, I knew the clarity of life that comes with it, but I was here to play, so strategically

I kept my mind in the game a lot more this time. I walk away from this experience actually proud of myself, and proud of the way that I played.

I didn't leave two people up there that I wouldn't vote for. I would vote for either one of them. I remained friends with everybody, and I put myself in a position where, right until the very end, I could have won that million dollars. I think up against either of them I would have had a very fighting chance. My biggest decision was voting Rupert off the other night.

That was huge, because it made me feel like I took this game, and I took control of my game. I love Rupert, and I'm sorry that I had to do it, but it really made me feel strong as a strategic Survivor.

I'm really proud that I did that, because it gave me the option to go to the Immunity Challenge today and have just as much chance of winning Immunity and going to the Final Two as those other two people. It came down to a slip of a foot, my own fault, but I really feel like the rest played the hand exactly the way I wanted it to, so that I could have won that million sitting up there tomorrow night.

Rupert, the Day After
7 min : 43 sec

Markopolo's note: Let's see....almost eight minutes of Rupert saying nothing. GREAT. Yeah, like I am really going to transcribe that.

AFTER FIVE HOURS, IT'S TIME TO GO TO SLEEP!

Honestly, this was your best one yet. Thank you so much for your transcripts. They really were more entertaining then the shows. I can't wait for next season's transcripts.

Just a correction (typo) -- you have Amber voting for Rob at Final 4.

Thanks so much for doing these all season. They've been great to read, and your commentaries are priceless. And thanks for maintaining the spoiler site and TDT's old Survivometer as well. I don't know how you find the time, but we'd be lost without you!

Cheers!

ETA: I just noticed this in Kathy's soliloquy:
So if she gets the million bucks and the jury castrates her that she used her sexuality to get to it, she's going to have a tough time living with it.

Castrates? Is that really what she says? Yes I imagine Amber would have a tough time living with that. She meant "chastizes", I hope.

Too... much... information...

Thanks for saving us all from a seasons worth of having to actually watch these things.

Also they managed to track down Jerri and get her to give some sob story about using the million to produce her own reality show filled with good people.

It's worth a laugh or 2 just on the irony alone...

This was your funniest Insider transcript to date
What a way to finish up the season. I cannot tell you how much I appreciate all your hard work to get this out to us week after week, no matter how borring it could be.

I hope someday you get that wish of yourself and Amber at an all you can eat Sizzler while she wows you with her wit and intelligence

Thanks for doing the season. Honestly, your comments were so much better than the season.

Oh and did anybody Rob C's little AI jab? Hill-frickin-arious.

Thanks Markopolo for doing the transcripts. I’ve enjoyed them all. I know it’s a time consuming task and I really appreciate it. It’s the first thing I look for on Friday mornings and you’ve never failed to deliver (and I get up early). Great job.
And the Lions are going to be a lot better this year, count on it. Roy Williams will make an instant contribution and with Cory Redding and Shaun Rogers making up half of the defensive line and Rod Babers in the secondary, the Lions are a team to reckon with. (uh, is it obvious I’m a Univ of Texas alum? Hook ‘em Horns!)
Wish I could offer similar encouragement for the Tigers, (Now maybe if they would have signed Roger Clemens, we could talk) but you’re on your own there.
Good luck and thanks again.

Marko, thanks for this past season of transcripts. I really appreciate your hard work and humorous commentary.

When kathy said

"And Rob is this Italian who hugs, and grabs and squeezes"

I think she was referring to their night in the marquesas when they designed the flag and slept together under mosquito netting.

I think there was a lot of huggin, grabbin and squeezin going on if ya know what I mean.

I mean, there has to be a reason why she was so angry, and she did say she loved him. ;)

great transcripts... I just saw Jerri's video, she's sitting in a chair (must've changed her mind). She says she would use the money to create reality tv that is positive and doesn't hurt anybody. bitter?

Good for her. She doesn't have a prayer of getting the money, but good for her for being firm in her convictions.
