Well, maybe if we get these up sooner some more folks will turn back up to play. This forum is much too unlively lately.

01. Cochran (01). The brains of Bikal who is really keeping everything under control, especially Phillip. He understands that he not only has to make the right moves, he has to make his moves in the right order. The strategic player to keep an eye on as the game progresses.

02. Malcolm (03). Thinking ahead, he has done a smart thing to get control over Reynold, more importantly over Reynold's idol. That it looks like a muscle alliance without the numbers makes it all the better, this is a genuine stealth organization. Now he has to hope Corinne hasn't told anyone about his idol and will continue to not spill those beans.

03. Dawn (04). Way to continue feeding Phillip's delusions while maintaining a partership in crime with Cochran. And staying on good terms with Corinne, allowing her someone to go to to vent about Phillip or anything else, shows the true brilliance of the strategic power couple. Paid off in that Julia felt her best chance to make a move against Phillip was only with Dawn.

04. Andrea (02). Just not much from her this week.

05. Corinne (05). Mixed bag of a week for Corinne as Phillip (assisted by Dawn and Cochran) continues to drive her nuts. She missed her chance to make a move against Phillip before he can make his move against her by being afraid of what that would mean at the merge. If only she'd thought it through she would have realized that three of the four Bikal at Gota would be glad to see Phillip gone from the game. And allowing someone mentally deranged to make it onto the jury is just dumb.

06. Michael (06). Kept his head and kept his cool.

07. Erik (08). Didn't hear much from him, but he was great in the RC, funny on reward, and is in a good position with Malcolm to play Eddie and Reynold while using them as shields after the merge.

08. Sherri (07). Nothing much from her this week, she's going to have to stay on her feet and make some smart plays to get herself back in the game. Like Cochran before, she's in observer mode while there is little else she can do.

09. Brenda (10). Good cheerleading.

10. Reynold (12). Okay, weren't we all surprised he knew a big word like "bacchanalian"? I'd put him back on the bottom of the list for being one because that means he never ever actually had a chance in this game, he's playing to get to the party at the Ponderosa. But this week's bottomfeeder genuinely earned it.

11. Eddie (13). Hope he's enjoyed the good times at Gota because things are about to change.

12. Phillip (09). How many ways can the Specialist just get it wrong (amusing as it is to watch)? As much as getting rid of him could have played well for Cochran, Corinne and Dawn, getting rid of Corinne would have been risky. He's making emotional rather than rational decisions. He single-handedly lost the RC for his tribe with a bunch of bad decisions and a lot of misplaced pride. His lie to Cochran about throwing the IC -- as if he'd made yet another unilateral decision impacting the rest of his tribe or alliance -- was in fact the perfect demonstration of why they should have voted him out! There goes Phillip again, off his rocker.

Good-bye, Julia (11). It was actually a smart play she tried to make to knock Phillip out of the game, shame she couldn't pull it off. At least she had the good sense to know she really couldn't trust Phillip.

I think we'll need to have a "fight" to liven things up and I think I can see one on the horizon: It wears pink underwear!

1- Cochran: He reminded me of Chris telling Sarge that it wasn't time to vote out Rory when he smartly told Phil not to go after Corinne yet. What does he have in store for this merge. He is both in a minority (NuBikal) and a majority (Favotites). How does he make it his alliance?

2- Andrea: Smart play to go for jury votes. I really think that Malcolm acted too late, that Andrea has Brenda, Sherri and Erik all sown up and she will easily reconnect with Phil, Dawn and Cochran.

3- Malcolm: Forming an alliance of 4 on a tribe of 12! Still, he realized that a good social game and the numbers advantage was not enough. He'll need to sacrifice Reynold, use him as a shield to stay long in the game.

4- Brenda: I prefer to see her leading cheers than being serenely uninvolved. I think her new found enthusiasm comes from getting in an alliance with Andrea.

5- Sherri: The waiting game has earned her a trip to the merge and now she can reconnect with Michael. Her game though depends on Michael and Andrea.

7- Michael: He should have been the first fan voted out but his waiting game paid off very nicely. Who will he choose: Corinne or Sherri? He can't have both because of the Corinne-Malcolm-Reynold connection. Going with Corinne means working with Reynold and he'd never work with Sherri.

8- Erik: So someone sees this kid as an alpha male!!! Could be Malcolm's biggest mistake.

9- Dawn: Smart but acted like a snitch which isn't nice, especially since Julia was inoffensive, a lost child. Really bad showing in then reward.

10- Phillip: The guy simply cracks me up. His bravado was meant to boost tribe morale but it's pointless to think Bikal had the smallest chance in that reward challenge. I also believe he did throw the challenge. Oh! not at first when he worked his butt off carrying the statue but when Reynold was down to one key, Phil probably convinced himself that throwing the challenge was the best strategy so he stopped trying then.

10- Corinne: What is she waiting for? She had Malcolm on the other side, Michael in his pocket and Phillip in her sights: The moment will probably never return.

11- Eddie: <>

12- Reynold: He did the same thing as Pete last season and Pete was a dumb player. Granted, Reynold had less options than Pete but why blab about the idol? Malcolm came to you, let him give you a reason to trust hum.

Booted - Julia: Poor Julia. To think she described herself as a leader!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I really disagree with your assessment of Dawn being a snitch, I saw it rather as her taking the opportunity to keep Phillip from going after Corinne. If Phillip had been determined to keep Julia around he very likely would have targetted Michael, upsetting Corinne, the crack in the alliance just gets worse; possibly he would then try to talk Cochran and Dawn into voting for Corinne, they have to overrule him, unity is further shattered and in his pride he now resents them because he is the head of Stealth.

Tell me this: Did they have to show Julia asking Dawn to keep their conversation secret? Did they have to show Dawn agreeing to do so? I'm sorry but Dawn acted like a snitch. Simple facts. What does the word snitch mean? A person who tells on someone. What did Dawn do if not tell on someone?

Then why isn't Julia a snitch for snitching to Dawn what Phillip had done? You say she was inoffensive but she snitched first. But Dawn snitching on a snitch isn't as negative as Dawn just being a snitch. tsk tsk

Yes, they had to show certain things, and a lot of it had to do with the story of Phillip being off his rocker. Phillip makes a unilateral decision, puts Julia in play, this would be a great set-up for a Corinne/Phillip confrontation by proxy via Michael/Julia. But Julia makes her own move going to Dawn, and it was actually a good game move but it just didn't work. And then Dawn goes to Phillip but her move was really about getting Phillip back under control, that is really the only thing she gains in this. Julia loses out in all this and ends up exactly where she was before Phillip put her in play.

Julia's edit is irrelevant because she's gone. More importantly she was fighting for her life. She knew she was on the chopping block so she had to try something, anything.

Dawn, Cochran and Corinne had all decided to eliminate Julia before that conversation. There was no need to betray Julia's confidence. Appeasing Phillip, if it even mattered, could have been done by telling him that keeping Michael would set Corinne up for a nice blindside.

Julia's edit is irrelevant because she's gone. Fallacious reasoning. If you want to continue calling Dawn a snitch it is completely relevant that Julia snitched first and Dawn only snitched on a snitch. Not even a snitch that was part of her alliance.

More importantly she was fighting for her life. Wrong. If she was concerned simply for her longevity in the game it would have been much simpler and safer for her to have done exactly what Phillip wanted her to do, which was be his double agent, and hope Phillip would get his way and boot Michael if it came to it. Instead she made a bold game move that had it worked would have improved her standing in the game and kept her friend Michael in the game as well.

It was good game, shame it didn't work.

Who is talking real life? I'm talking about editing. Dawn's portrayal is important, not Julia's. Anyway, in real life, I'd consider it much less offensive to tell on a bully which was what Phillip was, than on his victim!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

As for Julia's longevity, I hope she saw that Phillip wasn't in charge. We all know that he doesn't run anything so I expect that someone that was there knew that also. Therefore she couldn't depend on his plans.
