"High-School Dropout on The Apprentice 2"

All,

How many viewers out there would like to see a High-School dropout appear as a contestant on "The Apprentice 2?" How many of you would like to see someone like this go all the way.

Meet someone who has truly beaten the system.

Think it's impossible? Think again!

I'd like to see a high school drop out win. It makes me feel good when the underdog comes out on top. One of the smartest and most successful businesmen that I know is a high school drop out.

I'd at least expect the dropout to have gotten a GED. I can't imagine someone being successful without that.

u'd be surprised about some people that have succeeded without a GED. but, on the avg. if you don't have a GED/high school diploma, your chances of becomin successful are slim.

Believe me, it can and has been done. I know it's hard to imagine, which is why I think a lot of people would be interested in watching an individual like this go to the top!

I'll add that my friend DOES have a GED.

This one doesn't have even a GED or any other equivalent.

I think they COULD be successful without a GED. In a lot of situations it would be rare to see someone like that do well because most companies require an education. If someone had started their own business though, and had good "street smarts" so to speak, than I could see where it would be possible.

I won't want to see a high school drop on the next Apprentice. if there were one, I really would not 'care' if they won, but then I don't really 'care' who wins Apprentice One either.

Welcome to the message boards, akukucka.

I wouldn't mind seeing a high school dropout as a candiate on The Apprentice 2.

If they can't cut the mustard, they'll be fired -- just like all the MBA-MD-PHd contestants.

I've been with a couple of highschool dropouts who "have gone all the way". What's the big deal?

It depends. If it is a high school dropout slacker who spent the last 5 years working at McDonald's, then no, I don't want him wasting time on the Apprentice. If it's a high school dropout slacker who started his own business and was actually successful, showed some kind of drive in his life, than yeah, that might be interesting. It all depends on the reason that they dropped out of high schoo. Every contestant should be intelligent and ambitious.

Yes, I would! I hope that the casting is better for Season 2. If producers think that America wants to tune in every Thursday night to watch Ivy League fortunates get more fortunate, they are wrong! Give us an underdog to cheer on!

Kwame and TRUMP were the only ivy league gradutes in the cast. Troy and Jessie are not college graduates. Seems balanced to me.
