Go to the website below to read a summary of Bachelor 2 personalties written be a psychologist -- quite interesting! He will not review the Bacholorette show -- doesn't want to go there. However, he will review Bachelor 3. His review confirmed my opinions of the various personalities.

Go to the website below to read the summary and a Q&A with the psychologist:

I thoroughly enjoyed reading the shrink's summary. Please let us know if he writes more! From my experience of studying psychology and of polling my friends and family, many of his opinions were right on target:

"I believe the answer to this question (why most men watched the show) is simple: Take any normal guy and offer him a 7-week, all expense paid vacation. Tell him he is also going to have a beachfront house with 25 young ladies staying over, whose only interest is to impress and entertain him. Who is going to say no? Most men watching the show LIVED the fantasy through Aaron, and fantasized being with each one of the contestants, even choosing which ones would stay or go."

"Women watched for various reasons, but I believe the primary one was simple curiosity as to what would happen next, and having a romantic nature, which this type of show feeds very nicely."

And, he offers up an interesting tip for extrapolating more information about the show's participants: don't get caught up in listening to their words but watch body language instead.

I also enjoyed reading about his opinion on Helene's nervous laugh:

"There’s a reason for that subconscious nervous laugh of hers, and it’s simply her way to relieve stress. She never felt comfortable in front of the camera, and having a group of people and a cameraman following your every move, including when she was alone with Aaron, can be stressful."

And, finally, his opinion on why Helene talked out of the side of her mouth while Aaron was kissing her:

"...she still doesn’t feel too thrilled to be overly-kissed by Aaron, that is why she had conversations through the side of her mouth while Aaron was trying to kiss her."

Why did I watch the show (I am female)? Curiosity about how these people will act in the given situation though I don't have a "romantic nature" and I don't believe one can "fall in love" in 6 weeks!
