i was reading a column she writes for her local paper and she mentioned that she will be in new york for the finale. that may be some indication that the past winners of survivor will be involved in some compacity maybe involving the twist.

I don't think so. IMHO they always bring back former contestants for the finales. That's how they all know each other from the finales and rap parties.
