This week's show was strong. Not spectacular, but kept me interested. After 30+ years, it's difficult to be fresh all of the time - especially with one (soon to be two) key comediennes out on maternity leave.

Steve Carell - Great!
Kanye West - so/so

I definitely agree with that. They should have had Steve Carrel "guest anchor" since he was such a riot in Bruce Almighty & Anchorman. I mean, come on, how could SNL pass up the chance to have him anchor?

The cast from the early days was the absolute best (Belushi, Ackroyd, Murray, Newman, et al).

Sorry to bump my own thread - but this "Digital Short" was pure genius.

It's all about the Hamiltons baby...

that was awesome wasn't it?

Here's a link to it - I watch every time someone ticks me off at work which is like once an hour.

I rarely bump threads, but I gotta say, that digital short is brilliantly hilarious. Coincidentally, I saw that video the first time it aired on SNL, which is odd because I haven't watched that show in two years.

Also...

Red Vines + Mr. Pibb = Crazy delicious.
