Was that Edyta that was significantly more nekkid than the rest of the gals?

I was too busy *wincing* from the awfulness of that song to figure out who was who, sorry........

I'll be catching this on the DVR tonight, but I promise I'll chime in with some snark before the night is done.

"Jeffrey and Edyta"

In case you were wondering what you were missing:

Dancing the Quickstep to "I Get A Kick Outta You"

I don't think we missed a heck of a lot, especially the band's interpretation of that song.........

"RE: Jeffrey and Edyta"
Posted by Snidget on 09-24-08 at 09:18 PM
I think it was better than their other dance, but really didn't miss much by not seeing that.

I'm still effin' PI$$ED that the dumb $#it$ who run this show stuck Edyta with such a loser. She's been loyal to that show since they started it, and IMNVHO she deserves a partner with a realistic shot at winning it all, not some richard cranium with three left feet. Whoever made the decision to pair the 2 of them up should be publicly hanged in the ballroom for that. But I'd settle for him/her getting stuck on a deserted island with Samantha Harris for life.

Cloris and Corky (Oh.My.Gawd! That's the lowest couple saved!)

I find it ironic that the CSI:NY episode airing right now in Spike's marathon has Criss Angel guest-starring with all of the David Blaine hype going on.........

and VFTW goes wild!!!

Actually I'm going a bit wild to. She is just so much fun and you never know what the heck she's going to do next.

Are pop idols getting younger every year, or is it just me?

"Who's Safe, Part 3"
Posted by vince3 on 09-24-08 at 08:30 PM
Maurice and Cheryl

Before that, Adam Corolla had a "Man on the Street" segment that sounded like he got insulted into the ground........ (was looking in on Knight Rider, sorry)

One of the guys said something like I don't even know who you are when Adam asked him about Cloris.

"Jonas Brothers"
Posted by vince3 on 09-24-08 at 08:37 PM
*really beginning to wish death on David Blaine*

Singing "Lovebug" (at least they're not using the band..... two are using their guitars, and they have a couple of backup players further up the stage's stairs.)

The one who was on vocals/tambourine danced a little with a couple of male pros........ then they went on stage to rock out while those male pros got female partners......

I loved at the beginning when all the teeny-boppers started with their fan girl squeals, there was an old granny sitting in the front row totally stone-faced.

"RE: Jonas Brothers"
Posted by Snidget on 09-24-08 at 09:31 PM
Wow teen idols are getting younger within the span of a few minutes.

I'm with granny.

"RE: Jonas Brothers"

I'd have at least winced when the fangirls started shrieking in my ears.

And I am thanking the pre-teen gods that my 9 year old DD thinks they totally svck.

"Interactive Dance Update"
Posted by vince3 on 09-24-08 at 08:38 PM
The Dance selected is the Jive.

Now we get to choose the song........

"RE: Interactive Dance Update"
Posted by CTgirl on 09-24-08 at 09:08 PM
The choices:

Tutti Frutti by Little Richard
More Today Than Yesterday by Spiral Staircase
Rock Lobster by the B52s
Great Balls Of Fire by Jerry Lee Lewis
Love Cats by The Cure

I'm thinking one of the '50s songs; the other ones are a train wreck waiting to happen.

*hee*

Ah, to vote for train wreck or not to vote for train wreck.
Is it better to prove to the producers we will suffer the slings and arrows of the band's interpretations...

Sure, go for it.

*trainwreck trainwreck trainwreck*

4 couples remain: Cody and Julianne, Toni and Alec, Ted and Inna, and Lance and Lacey........

Safe: Lance and Lacey! Also safe: Cody and Julianne!

Last two standing (not necessarily in Bottom 2): Toni and Alec vs. Ted and Inna

The couple going home....... *heartbeat music*: Ted and Inna!

Dirty pool! They knew that Toni has heart issues....... They didn't need to put her through all that in the hour..........

Crap! I can't believe I keep forgetting this show is on this week! Sweetie and I rented Season 2 of Star Trek Voyager, and have dissolved our brains into it every night so far.

I've been catching bits and pieces on YouTube, but it ain't the same.
