"Joe Millionare-SPOILER-the winner is...."

Posted by MellowYellow on 01-25-03 at 10:45 AM
On Friday, FOX morning show with Mike Edwards and Jillian B and other girl, announced the winner, which they got from a magazine/ rumor paper along the lines of Star and Globe, please don't quote me on name of publication, it truly slipped my mind. If you've ever watched that show you would understand, those two girls are annoying as hell.

Ready? The winner is Zora.

Joe will attend Super Bowl as well as Trista (she will sit next to a girl, she said when asked) The Bachelorette.

I think Zora would be a bit of a surprising choice, but certainly plausible. It's obvious Evan finds her intriguing. "There's something about her and I want to find out what it is."

MoJo was my odds-on favorite to make it to the end and thought Zora would be next to go. We'll see....

Well, Zora originally didn't seem as too big of a gold-digger....maybe she won't take the news too hard. Ho hum, I was cheering for Melissa M., but then again, spoilers aren't always for sure.....

I'd like to reiterate, the Spoiler annoucement was taken out of a newspaper. It was annouced on FOX show (which I found odd since it is their runaway show) by Jillian B., as a spoiler.

>>those two girls are annoying as hell.<<

I rarely watch a morning show because all morning people just annoy me, but this is kind of interesting. I can't imagine FOX letting a FOX employee report this if it were true, but who know?

I have long thought the winner will be either Zora or Melissa M. Neither Mojo nor Sarah is being edited as likeable. Plus Paul doesn't like either of them.

And Joe gets a ticket to the Superbowl. Some guys would have done this stupid show just to score a ticket!

I don't know Swami. The whole point of the show is the lie. At the end, the "winner" finds out that Evan doesn't have the 50 mil. so it's essentially a pretty cruel practical joke. Do we want this news sprung on someone we (the audience) like? Maybe, but I really, really wish Heidi would have made it through just to see how she reacted to the "reveal". I think I might feel badly - just a little - for Melissa M.

As for Mojo, well, if I can't have Heidi, I guess she would do.

Do we think that Evan is really looking for a potential wife, or is he just playing along with the joke? How much influence do you think the producers have over the selection process?

True, but supposedly the show is also about Evan finding a woman who will love him and not what he does not have (money).

I think Evan feels like Zora might be more understanding, since she came from a poor family. She might be more open and not materialistic, like the others have proven to be.

I thought, from the first episode, the same thing as Swami. It would not surprise me at all, if poor Zora is the "Winner". Her prize: "EVAN" !!!!!

Poor Zora

Since the audience has been in on the "joke" since the beginning, I don't think they care and in fact they are waiting for that BIG moment, no matter who the girl is.

I love Zora to death. 1) She is, and always has been, the most attractive woman on the show. 2) I don't see her as in it for the money at all. In fact, she's a little intimidated by it. I believe that that is why she isn't opening up a lot. Don't be ashamed, Zora!

P.S. Am I the only one that doesn't like Melissa's hair?

Most of the time I don't like Melissa's hair either. Sometimes it looks good. But most of the time NO.

No, you are not! I never liked her hair nor her from day one!

Not only was her hair terrible last night, but that outfit was frumpy, IMO. I just have such a low opinion of her now. She won't cook, won't clean, what does she do, she obviously is not spending her time primping.

I read on another board a few days ago that Zora was said to be the winner. But I have no idea where they got their info. So I didn't know whether to believe it. I keep hearing he didn't get the girl in the end. So it sounds like no matter who he picks turns him down. I wonder how much all the jewellery is worth?

Loree I will let you in on a little secret:

I wonder how much all the jewellery is worth?

Its actually colored rock candy. Thats the other twist at the end they are hyping, LOL.

Really? I was sure it would be Melissa. We will see...

Well I am not too surprised. I would be more surprised if Mel. M. does not make it to the F2. If the F2 is Smile girl Mel. M. and Zora I could see that. By then Joe may have figured out why Zora is uncomforatable, ie, she was raised with little money, and find that appealing. Also, Smiley Mel. M. could have made comments about the money he did not like.

So if Zora wins, Good for her, or Bad for her depending on your angle. I don't think she will take the lie well though. In fact, I don't see any of the remaining women taking the news well.

Well he got his SuperBowl Ticket, he got his exposure on TV, I'm sure he got what he wanted out of the show.

The women, thats an entire other story.

I posted this on another thread, but consider that a twist at the end is that Zora might really be an heiress of millions and be the one with the money....

That would be too funny. She could be like, well sorry you lied to me, see you later.

Also in regards to my above post. After watching last nights episode 1-27-03, I have to say, I do not want Smiley girl in the F2. I said she may have made comments about the money Joe would not like, and did she ever. Well maybe not comments, but her attitute and actions were very Princess, Primadonna and High Maintenence. She can't cook and expects to eat out with him, LOL. She had her foot in her mouth a lot, IMO.

"The Globe"

I read ( ok skimmed ) an article in the Globe yesterday while in the Walmart checkout. It says Zora, and makes it sound like it's a real love match. The twist according to the Globe ( get this) is that Zora is Pyscic and knew all along that he didn't have money, and was only uncomfortable about being lied to. LOL ! I guess I should see if there is an online link, because I didn't buy it ( equirer yes, star, sometimes, globe, never)

OK this is scary, why, because I am also Psychic and knew she was psychic because I am psychic. Bwwwaaaaaahaaaaaaaahaaaaaa, NOT!

Psychic or not I do beleive she thinks she is being lied to, one way or another.

Thanks for the post it was funny.

Not sure how the Globe ranks as far a truth in reporting goes, but if it is anything like Weekly World News, I would hold off placing bets on Zora or her psychic abilities.

You see, I was in a convenience store yesterday (Wawa for those in the NE), and I couldn't stop cackling at the WWN headlines:
Stolen Bat Boy Car Found (complete wuth photo of bat boy stepping out of car)
Angel Shot by Hunters (complete with photo of dead "angel" lying face down on pavement)
and How to tell if you are a psychic - wouldn't you already know?

Sorry, its O.T. but I could not resist.

"Psychic or Psycho??"

I knew I read about this somewhere. Somebody posted this on the Joe page at the TV Clubhouse:

From the Denver Post:

Boulder grad vies for ‘Joe

By Bill Husted
Denver Post Columnist

Tuesday, January 07, 2003 - Who wants to marry a millionaire - who's not really a millionaire?

Maybe Zora Andrich, a 1991 Boulder High grad and homecoming queen. She's one of the 20 bachelorettes on "Joe Millionaire," which debuted Monday night on Fox 31. The show passes off a $19,000-a-year construction worker as a Paris multi-millionaire.

Zora, 29, was sworn to secrecy Monday, and the Fox publicity people weren't letting her gab. She just told me that she's living in New Jersey, working as a model, actress, caregiver to the elderly and as a substitute teacher. And that she had fun.

Her mom, Boulder astrologer Vava Andrich, does gab, however. She said during the November shoot outside of Paris, "Zora had some of the best times of her life - and she also wondered what the heck she was doing there. My daughter is psychically gifted, so she really didn't buy it."
==============================================================

Well, it would explain Zora's standoffishness...
