Okay... here we go with the first installment of Love Cruise preview vidcaps... with a new feature, not seen in Boot Camp... numbered frames (numbered beside the pic, not inside the pic)... the goal is to outwit, outwit, outwit... leave no stone unturned, leave no vidcap unanalyzed... Everyone have thier instructions? Is anyone still reading this opening paragraph, or have you all skipped ahead to the important stuff? Here we go.......

Okay... I have a few comments about these previews:

1) Remember that these do not *necessarily* all come from Ep1... therefore, it's important to look for things that might tip us off with things in later Episodes... it's unlikely we'll ever get an Ep1 preview, so this will have to serve as BOTH an Ep1 preview (most of the footage will probably be from Ep1) but also a series preview (some footage from later Episodes?

2) The goal of the producers is to tell a story in seven installments... in must have a beginning, a middle, and an end. Thus, the people featured from the beginning are the likely winners (remember we want to show the winners, so that the people will recognize them), but also the first ones out will be featured (so that people will care when they get the boot).

With this in mind, I have several observations... first, the guy in vidcap #12 is the only one acting as a narrator for this preview... (the others talking were chosen for their harsh words... which will draw in an audience)... I'm sure that EVERY contestant was interviewed about their reasoning for going on the cruise, so why use this guy's answers? Is he the ultimate winner? Does he get booted first? Or did he just give the best soundbite?... Thoughts to ponder...

In vidcap #10, why are their only 6 ladies??? This could be a huge spoiler... are we shown which two ladies are booted first... oh... and in vidcap #11, notice that the three girls featured in the shot appear to be very friendly and close, but the other three are a little more like outsiders... especially the one to the right edge of vidcap #10... possible evidence of group dynamics.

Speaking of group dynamics, it appears that the people in Vidcaps #21 and #22 don't really get along. (duh)... but what I find more interesting is the guy with the orange shirt (right edge of vidcaps 22-24) who appears to just be watching... and what about the oblivious guy in the background of Vidcap #20 who appears to be laughing???

I think that we need to examine the couples shown... it's likely that the couples are the ones chosen for Ep1, but take notes, in case some of them don't appear until a later episode.

Also note that some couples (4,6) appear to get along better than other couples (8,9)...

Also note that in the background of shot #8 (between the two dancing), you can see someone in a pink bathing suit sitting next to a guy on the beach... they only appear on screen for one frame, so it's unlikely that the producers even noticed them in the shot (I stopped it on that frame intentionally)... probably means nothing, but still... any little clue might help out.

Okay... I'm done with my analysis... IceCat??? (and others?)

Thanks, sleeeve, these are great! I haven't looked at the picture of the full crew from the magazine thread, but comparing the 6 women here to who is shown there may very well tell which femme fatales get the boot early on. Too tired to look just now. Edited to add now I will have nightmares about that mean looking yelling bug-eyed woman!

Here's what I can contribute (not much) The bug eyed girl was featured in the Entertainment Weekly article. Her name is Toni. She is discribed as a recent breast implant recipient. She says in the article " It got nasty. I got stereotyped right away as the blond bimbo with fake boobs. And I'm not." The cast, adds Toni, was "backstabbing left and right. You would never see it because everyone was nice to your face. But when they went back to their cabins, they got evil."

The guy in #4 and #19 is Anthony.(duh, it is written on his shirt in #4) He is also quoted in the article. He is a 27 year old aspiring screenwriter from L.A.

#12 is also pictured by himself in the article, but his name was not given.

I'm not sure how this could help, if at all, I'll look at it closer when I have more time.

OK, let's look at this statement: she says that she isn't the "blonde bimbo with fake boobs."

Fake boobs? A given, since she is described as a breast implant recipient.

Bimbo? A given; she's on this show, isn't she?

So ... she must be telling us that she is not blonde, despite her hair color in the picture.

Impeccable logic Aya K and so evil I love it. Thank you for pointing out the clear contradiction in her whiney objection.
She really is scary. If I saw pics of me posted like that, I'd either go hide from the world or try to get a body and soul transplant (oh, not available yet, even with latest technology?).
If we found out she slept with Shakes, well, ewwww, no wonder he writes tortured poetry about nightmares.

I wondered if the 6 women meant something too. Then I remember that they can leave and come back again. So this show will be very hard to spoil. But the bug-eyed woman scares me.

He was in the cast photo. If I remember correctly (I haven't gone back to check) he is Number 2 in the cast photo. (I remember thinking that he was the best looking guy in the bunch)

Shakes was not visible in any of those vidcaps
