After watching the first Average Joe, I vowed that I would not watch anymore. I got suckered in. How horrible of NBC to play with people's emotions. I was hopeful, with Adam being a very reasonable man with a true heart, or so I thought.

I can not blame Adam entirely, I believe that NBC should take some of the blame for this. True, Adam has the final say, but, might NBC have some behind-the-scenes coaxing? Makes you wonder.

I think this stardom has tarnished yet another good heart. Too bad for Adam.

Right in there with you on falling for it! I thought Rachel was a whole lot prettier than Samantha (if he was just going for looks). I think he cued us in on the home visit. It scared him that his parents liked Rachel so much. He has probably liked all the hounding he could do since his first tv celebrity. Rachel is the kind of woman you marry, so guess he didn't really want to get married. Must have been tired of having fans all over America too, he just lost 9/10ths of them!
