"Jim prufrock...another mystery"

Something tells me Jim is not the only Prufrock that has ever set foot in Push, Nevada...

Episode one: Silas yells at Jim that the people he works for are the people who owns the people, who owns the people, who owns his father.

Perhaps that fax was MEANT to be sent to Jim...after all, how did they get his number?

Episode two: Jim meets Shadrak (the desert art guy) and former town official. Hearing the name, Shadrack asks him if he's "any relation to..." but Mary interrupts him.

From the credits for the Black Box:

Kevin Crowley (as Al Prufrock)

Anybody happen to have noticed someone named Al?

YES! He is also mentioned in the TV listing ads as Al also, played by Kevin Crowley. Kevin is the actor that plays Jim, so I'm not sure who Al is. My guess is that the name was changed but not updated in the media guides.

Did anyone see where his ex-wife was calling from? Someone said they saw the Sloman's sign outside her window when she called Jim. Maybe she is in town and is the other "Prufrock relation" that is mentioned by the bum artist.

I missed some pieces of the show last night but recorded it, so I'll try and get a vidcap up this weekend.

Bah! how stupid can I be? I never noticed htere was an Al prufrock on the credits, especially when I have it posted on my site. Unfortunately, I havent seen this Al in episode 2, or probably missed him due to a bad VHS tape.

Then, There's an Alan "big al" o'Lifeson who has done a few articles on push times.

But wait! episode 3 has a "young jim" played by a little kid named jacob Smith...OOoooOOOOoo mysterious childhood trauma flashback!

by the way, isn't it supposed to be derek cecil who Plays the adult Jim?

Kevin Crowley is listed in episode three "The Color Of" as Al Prufrock. Looking for a picture of him has been difficult but he is only 44 so I am assuming he would be a brother or cousin instead of Jim's daddy.

Meanwhile, the "Lovesong" references keep rolling.

J.(?) Alfred Prufrock

Jim A. Prufrock

Jim could be a Jr. who uses his first name, unlike Dad who uses the middle name. Who knows? It's been done in my family with my uncle and grandfather.

I believe Jim's father is alive and heading the competition(the company that bailed Jim out of jail) to watermark company

I think so too Rocksy. Jim said he was young when his Dad died. Maybe he was 11, as that would have been his age in 1984.
