So. Let's review. We have lost the sarcastic. We have lost the funny. We're down an athlete and we're short one former spouse of an icon. We are slowly knocking out every vaguely interesting personality and story that remains in this competition. What could that possibly mean for this week?

Well folks, it's one of those nights. Battling the allergies, so I'm going to see specialists:

Drink of the night
Dr. (Jack) Daniels
Dr. (Jim) Beam
Dr. (Johnny) Walker

right, as if

All with green tea, fresh ginger and honey - and lots of water.

Snack of the night
Wish I could say brie, brochetta with tapenade - but it's my neighbor's chicken soup.

Actually her chicken soup is quite good. With baked pita chips instead of crackers.

Last week Len wanted to see more dancing from Jason this week.

Also, they're all doing a dance type that they haven't done yet......... and the group Country dance will have many lifts etc. that give the judges fits. (It's purely for the fans voting, the judges won't score it.....)

Edyta took Jason to a Freestyle class to help him get a better feeling for dancing styles.


Dancing the Cha Cha to "The Best of My Love"

They thought that it was good, but not great..... he was caught counting/mouthing the beats..........

They're hoping that this week is better than last week, what with Derek's food poisoning and all...... Derek takes Shannon to the beach to loosen her up, including using the Hula Hoop for her hips..... and we even get a smoocha!

Dancing the Rumba to "True Colors"

The judges didn't find it too exciting......

Shannon doesn't want it to end......... because she wouldn't be able to talk to Derek any more.......

Shannon is a lovely girl. but hon, you are lanky and have no hips to give "hip action" to.

They're trying to recover from their missteps this week. Fabian, being a World Mambo Champion, is confident they'll do good this week. Marlee, who wanted a boost of confidence of her own called in Henry Winkler for some support.... (Ayyyyyyyyyy!)

Dancing the Mambo to a Spanish-language song, and I got no clue on what the title is.........

Between the hankie used for wiping Marlee's brow, and some other small item, they had some clean up after themselves.....

They again had some difficulties, again missteps/losing the beat, they looked like they were forcing it at times......

Scores: 7~7~7 for a total of 21 (current lowest score....)

Great performance, but showed the limitations. Marlee has great dance skill, but her hearing impairment is beginning to show.

What will they come up with next season, a paraplegic celebrities? I can come up with 2 - and they are hot hot hot! Thank you very much.

Gotta love Len!

Fluid, technically correct, beautiful to watch. But of course, it is Cheryl and Cristian.

And yes, I would pay good money (with gas at $4/gallon) to see Len's bum, in a freezer.

This is another one of these weeks that she's gotta control her energy, but the Waltz has numerous spins that make her dizzzizzzzizzzzy...... This week, however, Tony took her to an arial arts class to try to conquer her dizziness in these slower dances...... It seemed to work.....

Dancing the Viennese Waltz to "My My My Delilah" but it's to a Latin-style beat(!?!?!?!?)

Nice job, love Tony. Very smooth and fluid. And her outfit was precious. And you can tell the hormones are wearing off (no evil intent - just noticed) glad she's havin a wee one.

Something you didn't know: Krist was born with 2 club feet..... and she's been dancing this well, besides her Olympic Figure Skating Gold Medal..... wow!

Now that I've got to clean my monitor.....

Finally reached it, they get it! Voters love Kristi, judges will love the dance, executed beautifully.

Nice touch with the styling, dare I say - gay voters (2nd largest voting block after women) might actually vote for the "not Maks".

He called his little brother Ray, who called him Poopie (Karina's nickname for him!) Ray also says that Len is bad!

Mario's dedicating this dance to Ray...... awwwwwwww!

Bruno needed an ice bucket.

Carrie thought it was better than good sex..... but there was that lift...... *gulp*

Massive carnage abounds! There are "Wanted" posters with the judges faces on it!


They're each gonna get a solo part, where they each are gonna go crazy with stunt dancing........... for the viewer votes.

I watched the first hour of DWTS. I noticed that Shannon still wasn't moving her hips, even though Derek was... I think they got more points than they deserved. I thought the judges were too critical of Marlee... I guess they're hinting that she will be voted off soon. The producers probably tell the judges how to score and whether to make negative or positive comments.

I think the winner was decided before the season started.

I skipped the second hour, or was it just half an hour, of the show. I watched Quantum Leap instead. Oh well.
