Welcome to The Apprentice message boards, a rod.

How could Katrina know who the winner is? I thought that was to be decided on April 15?

The article did describe Katrina as a "finalist". Hmmm, I think they're using the work loosely. I just don't see Katrina as one of the final 2. I think she's part of the 'Final 6'.

It could be that Kwame is in the final 2 or 3. But I don't think the player knows what happen after they leave the show? Say if she left before Kwame, how could she knows he is in the final 2?

Unless...she was the third runner up. That leaves Kwame and someone else competing for the final spot.

I still tend to think that TV doesn't show a lot of Kwame and there is more to him, so he might have made it further than we all think lol

The decision is to be made on live tv during the final episode so Katrina's website could not possibly know.

The final decision might even be a call in. you decide who wins. We really don't know. Donald himself said he doesn't know who won yet. The decision has not been made. If he is telling the truth I doubt they are letting Donald wait til after episodes are shown on tv. I mean the contestants could say things on the air that could influence the decision process. Or Donald could read stuff in the papers or on the net about the final contestents.

So either Donald is lying or a phone in will decide the winners.

I imagine that Katrina said that Kwame won just to get the guy out of her face. Can you imagine the number of people pestering these guys about who won? You're out having a good time and people are just climbing over you to get your picture or a comment. It's like that every day for me and trust me, it gets old fast.

I would be very happy if Kwame won since he has been my favorite since the beginning. But, I don't think Katrina knows who will win.

This shows that we are very excited to know now who wins. Unfortunatly-sorry can't spell the article states that the information came from a person that claimed to overhear her talking to someone else in a nightclub. It is going to be a long wait for April 15.
On a sidenote I do think that Kwamee displays the best personal presentation skills that DT would like to see, at least what I see in the boardroom and his interaction with his teammates.

1) That's Katrina in that picture? She looks luch better in the NBC photos and on the show...

2) I really thing this is worthless -- come on, a 2AM comment that starts with "OK..." after being begged and hounded by folks at the club??? Please, she just said something to shut them up...

I saw the actual Post article yesterday and they did use a better picture of her. It definitley looked like her in the paper. It wasn't the same one used on the website.

I also agree that she just said Kwame's name to appease all the questioners.

I suppose that telling people ad nauseum that you don't know who the winner is simply not good enough. She probably just through out a name to get everyone to stop asking her that question.

But then again, it could mean that she knows he's in the final two and figured that he had a 50/50 chance of taking home the prize.

Are you sure that this picture is of Katrina? It doesn't really look like her...oh well...first of all, I don't think that she would know who the winner would be because the winner will be announced live?!?!? And, I don't think that Kwame won because Katrina would never just blatantly come out and say that he won. It's a cover-up and someone else must have won and we just will have to wait to find out who when they have the live announcement I guess.

Yes DT could read the news and watch the shows, but I think that will only help him make the final decision. Remember too that DT is looking for a president that could be a public figure. Someone who portrays good image for the company. So seeing how the media portrays the contestants, in my opinion, will help DT decide who is best suit for the job.

I don't think Katrina really knows who wins, it might just be her speculation or what she is hoping/would like to see win. Isn't the article said that someone overheard her? That is too much overhearing, this might not even be what she was saying. (She could have said "Kwame MIGHT have a good chance! or something)

Me too would like to see Kwame win as many people tend to underestimate him. He's a charmer!

Besides, wouldn't they have to sign a confidentiality clause or something?

In today's NY Post

http://www.nypost.com/gossip/pagesix_u.htm

NBC: ANYONE CAN WIN

NBC flacks say we shouldn't necessarily jump to any conclusions just because Nick Warnock of "The Apprentice" has resumed his full-time job in Los Angeles as a Xerox salesman. Since November, when taping of the show ended with all but the two final candidates eliminated, Bill Rancic has returned to Chicago, where he runs cigarsaroundtheworld.com; Amy Henry went back to Austin, Texas, and her desk at BetweenMarkets, a hi-tech start-up; Troy McClain went home to Boise, Idaho, where he works as a mortgage broker; Katrina Campins is in Miami selling real estate; and Kwame Jackson most recently worked for Goldman Sachs. He can also be found throwing weekly "Apprentice" viewing parties at various clubs around Manhattan. Despite what Katrina allegedly said the other night in a Miami nightclub - that Kwame would win - no one will know until April 15, when the two finalists go into the boardroom live, and for the first time, Donald Trump will utter the words, "You're hired!"
