"How do I post news articles?"

I found a fabulous article on washed-up Media Hos, and I thought you might want it posted in the news section. Anyway, how do I do this just for future reference?

The article I found is here:

Great article, did you post it on the BB board?

First, go to http://www.realitytvworld.com

At the very top of your screen, there is a green bar with text that reads "Have some news to report? Create a news reporter account or login."

If you do not already have a news reporter account, you will need to create one. (This is not the same as your message board account). Click "create", and then follow the on-screen instructions.

Once you have an account, click "login".

On the left menu bar, there will now be a link near the top of the menu that says "Submit News"... click on that link. (You may have to refresh your browser before it recognizes that you logged in...)

Fill in the required fields (title, category, article text-- the short summary that will appear on the homepage, extended text-- a longer version that the user can access by clicking on the article).

Once you have clicked submit, you will be asked to preview your article, check it for spelling, and verify that all links work. Once you have done so... it will give you two options: Fix it or submit it. Select the appropriate option.

Your news article will go into a queue where it will await final authorization from the Webmaster before appearing on the homepage. If your article is related to one of the eight shows that we have a unique site for, it will also appear on that site's homepage.

Thanks to everyone for helping us keep on top of reality television news!
