"Pirate Master Episode 6 East Coast Spoiler Thread"

LAST EDITED ON 07-05-07 AT 06:35 PM (EST)

After the Rusty Chenbot (aka the HMS But First) gets done destroying any will to live that we have left, please keep sigpic free discussions of the three-men power trip's (Azmyth, Ben, Jay) latest adventures here until 1am EDT. Also, Nessa has got to sell the Royal Pardon, so will anyone that might be in trouble (like JD) be able to buy it and save themselves? Or will whoever the Captain and officers are again have the suspected winner of the bid avoid the Black Mark and make this twist useless for another week?

Since the Crews have to be pretty much gender equal, JD and Louie are pretty much guaranteed to be on the Red Crew vs. the Triad of Ben, Jay, and Captain Azmyth (the 3-Men Power Trip)

The girls are looking for a revolt of some kind........

"Too many responses."

'The crew is revolting!'

'So is the show.'

So the crew doesn't like getting even divisions of treasure?

Say, what's that boat doing so far inland? Is it carrying dynamite?

They've named the alliance, therefore they are doomed?

"Crew Selection:"
Posted by vince3 on 07-05-07 at 08:57 PM
Black Crew: Azmyth, Ben, Jay, Joy, Laurel, Christa

Red Crew: Louie, JD (by default), Nessa, Kendra, Jupiter

This one is hidden by the Boatsman! We're gonna swim to shore for this one!

On Kendra's left side... Is that a healed stoma? Did she have a colostomy at some point?

Louie can't tell what's going on right in front of his face.

Now there's a reality strategy we've seen before this.

Forget tying off the ladder so someone can climb. Hoist someone along with it. Then tie it off, if necessary.

Looks like Louie jumped in again on a task he is not suited for.

Find a footbridge and decipher clues on the steps. This will lead them to the Boatswain's treasure.

"Look for a tallship with a bow" (Um... Yeah. Most ALL ships have a bow, idiot.)

Black found it. Now what as far as the women's alliance goes? They all agreed Azimuth or one of his officer's should go, but they're all on the winning team. First mutiny card played? (Won't work as the officers would have to agree, but might send a message if there's more than one played.)

Well that is twice the team that Louie was on was in the lead and Louie was a major cause of delay leading to a loss.

Uh-Oh! So much for the even split! 60% to the Officers 40% to the Crew........ Grumblings are starting to be heard......

"Goodbye, even treasure divisions."

Hello, mutiny misdirection.

'The importance of pleading your case is extremely important.'

At least Rupert made sense every once in a while.

Looks like the officers are setting up a weak crew so whatever team they are on will win.

Meanwhile the girls are all working at cross-purposes to each other (catty) when they should working together.

"The importance of pleading your case...
is important."

I'd suggest a drinking game where every time Rupert-lite says something nonsensical like that you take a shot.

But we'd all be dead by the end of the show.

$12,000 for what a $1,000 would buy!

Does this man spend money or what? He better win the million at the rate he is spending it!

That's the ticket, just wear the other pirates out to the point they can't take you anymore.

OK,
The crew is getting increasingly concerned about the Captain and crew... they CAN get rid of them... here's how:

The RR Gambit!

Whoever gets selected to the black team next week, basically sits down on the job, sabotages the team and allows the red team to win. For their effort the new captain and crew cut them in on the booty, and then the three amigos get put up for the vote!

What do you all think of this reasoning?

The fact of the matter is crew has more power than they've allowed themselves to have. They have remained sitting on their hands despite the fact that everyone pretty much wants the same thing and the numbers are dwindling. What we have folks is a cast of talkers and no actual doers. The ones who were doers got the "plank" at the beginning.

My fiance also reasoned that the crew could work together and whomever was chosen for the "Captain's team" could simply sabotage. I agree that this would be an effective pre-mutiny. However, with that said, considering the amount of "talkers" over "doers" I don't know that I would be too willing to put my booty on the line either.

Heck, the woman have a bundle amount of control in this game and like any other reality show have chosen the path of cattiness opposed to winning. They have Louie's loyalty (other than the fact that he was at a lose lose vote tonight) and agreeing to mutiny now could save them from having to go over Louie or Joe Don.

I think the crew really needs to start probing Ben. Get a little closer. He doesn't seem all that comfortable with Asmyth's and Jay's new found money splitting decisions. I think he may be realizing that those two are getting too arrogant, which is bad for him.

I would also like to end with a plea for reality t.v. people to stop naming their alliances. Unless you are on Survivor and have to name your tribe leave the name giving right there. It just seems too corny.

The sabatoge idea is a good one. It would be easy enough to make the black team lose any future competitions.

I'm not sure why they didn't mutiny - there must be someone in the crew that supports Azmuth, but CBS isn't telling us who it is...

I think they need the officers to agree a mutiny as well, which with a declared alliance wouldn't work

Like the idea of sabotage though
