Julie - I do the same thing w/the mute button when Christie and Rhonda are talking about the stupid 5K run that is so bogus. If that crowd that they showed in the trailer for tomorrow's show is any indication - they had a pretty poor showing - looked like around 50 people there...I thought Christie's hair looked really nice - fit her age (people w/ultra long hair always seem to think it looks good...a security blanket type thing I think), her make-up was actually nice, too. I did not like the dress...I don't know why that behemoth of a person (Andy) can't get the clothes right...could it be she has NO fanshion sense at all herself? I mean, look at the way she dresses...and her eyebrows??? Please....(actually, someone ought to get a hold of Rhonda and whisper in her ear to quit dressing like a slut...sorry...she just does not have a spec of fashion sense in her body)...sorry for getting off subject there...
>Yet Christie told us in the
>confessional that she got lots
>of positive comments on her
>hair....aaaah....must be lonely living in
>"Christie-land" where imaginary friends say
>imaginary things. By the
>way, can't you just imagine
>Christie's ear to ear grin
>when she heard Jodi say
>she would help support Cain
>and Christine FINANCIALLY...oops that's a
>bit off topic...sorry
OMG, thanks for the laugh i needed that.
I liked the first dress she tried on better.her hair looked okay, but that shrug thing she was wearing looked like it was trapping her arms to her sides.
LAST EDITED ON 05-23-06 AT 05:22 PM (EST)Wow! That dress was the worst possible length and fabric for Christie's body. It was just the right length to highlight Christie's calves...not her best feature. Shiny material+extra weight=not a good idea. I don't know if it was just crinkling in the material itself, but it looked like you could see Christie's cellulite right through the dress. And you'd think Christie would have looked into getting a breast "lift" while she was under the knife anyway for her implants...they're hangin' pretty low.
The makeup was too heavy as usual, and the eye makeup in particular looked applied messily and unprofessionally. The eyeliner looked like it had "skips", and Andy's trademark styling, the heavily shadowed outer eye, looked clumsily blended. Christie's skin looked good, though.
I thought her hair still looked old-fashioned, but thank god they finally took off some of that ridiculous length. I liked the way Christie mentioned she wouldn't have done it, if the hair they cut off wasn't going to a good cause, Locks of Love. Oh really? I thought the Hg's didn't have a choice...isn't a refusal to get your hair chopped off an indication that you are not submitting to the "process"? Nice to know Christie's "special". I also loved how she had to throw in the comment about how she gets "a lot of compliments" on her hair. Andy was also stupid when she measured off Christie's hair in increments, saying, "This is the hair you had when you were an alcoholic...and this is the hair you had when you were a drug addict...". Geez, if Christie got rid of all the hair she had before "being cured" at the SOH, she'd pretty much be getting a buzz cut, no?
