Did I not pay attention or did Norberto get screwed on not getting any type of reward for himself or the blue team after winning last weeks fight?
But, the four of us had a great time.

Well, you may be right unless Gomez was the reward two weeks in a row. he was on again.

The reward wasn't shown in the episode, but you can see it in the extras on the ESPN website. Tommy showed up with a briefcase, opened it up ... and inside were wads of cash for everyone on the Blue team. Tommy then made a little speech about how they would remember, every time they touched the wads, that they once "were somebody" -- "I was a contender," ripping off the famous speech by Terry Malloy (Marlon Brando) in On the Waterfront.I think Burnett was worried that his audience wouldn't understand the allusion.
