"Joe Mill discussion on Atlanta radio (Jan 28)"

LAST EDITED ON 01-28-03 AT 06:27 AM (EST)

The radio station was talking about Joe Millionaire again this week. They still think there is going to be a really big twist at the end, more than just Joe revealing he has no money.

One suggestion was that Zora is being kept around at the producers' behest, because SHE really is rich, and if Evan keeps her, that would be the twist.

This twist might have been set up before, but failed. It was also discussed (on this morning's radio) how, on "Who wants to marry a millionaire?" the producers kept saying "Don't pick Darva, dont' pick Darva" but the lardhead picked Darva anyway. Well, you know what happened there...

Edited to add: To give this possibility credence, consider this: Zora is being edited as the girl who doesn't have a lot of money, and she's not comfortable telling Evan about that fact. Evan is, as edited, trying to get her to reveal this deep dark secret. So what if, at the end, SHE really is a recent heiress of millions? Just a thought.

Your thoughts on a possible JM twist at the end?!?!

Dawg:

Since we do not have much info to go on about the other twist, other than the 50 million dollar lie, I would say your supposition is as possible as any I can think of.

The only point I have is that I think he is keeping Zora because she is not seemingly as Money Hungry as the others. His hesitation is based on her goody goody attitute. He may want more wildness than she seems, and he is hoping that in private, her wild side will come out. The girls coming home early prevented that last night. So I think he does want her around and not just the producers prodding him, HOWEVER, that would not change the fact that she may have money as you posted. Which could also explain why she is not as Money Hungry, either she is uncomforatable with that much money, or she does not need his, she has her own?

All I know is this double twist talk is working. I know I will watch to see what happens. So regardless, Fox is doing a great job keeping me into the show.

I don't know why but all of a sudden, I have this feeling that the twist will involve Joe (Evan) and his future fortunes. He is from Great Neck, He went to and Expensive Military School, he only made <20,000 last year, yet he seems to live in an exclusive area, he drives a nice car, etc.

I think the twist is that although he has not inherited 50 million dollars, he stands to inherit a bunch of money, SOME DAY. That will possibly be the twist.

Just my gut feeling of the day. It will most likely be wrong, though.

I'm thinking, that after his final choice makes some decision (to stay or not to stay, etc.), Fox will come in and say "We're going to give you one million dollars." It'll be especially ironic if the girl denounces him (thus showing her true lust for the money), then the announcement is made...

And this would be very much on par with this show.

Gotta love this show...

I, too, find the editing of Zora kind of suspicious.

The wombat is picking sexy, hot rocket chicks...and Zora. It doesn't fit. Not that Zora isn't pretty, but she's more earthy girl-next-door than HOT.

He has cast off women for having characteristics that Zora has, i.e. he knocked off Dana because she is too "passive." Um, and Zora is not?

The opening shot of Zora arriving in the carriage shows her kind of giggling all shy-like with her hand self-consciously flying up to cover her mouth. She's just....different from the others. Not in a bad way, of course, but she's definitely not his type.

I'm with you, Dawg. Zora is like a mole or something, I'll bet. Maybe the joke is on Joe.

my 9 year old son made these statement after the second episode -
"This show is so fake. They are a bunch of losers. They should have practiced the script more. I can act better than that!"
Then he and my daughter "played" joe millionaire with her barbies for the next few days. he still thinks it's fake and that it's not "real reality tv."

my 7 year old daughter is convinced that he show is a remake of Cinderella. she first said something when Zora got the last dress. and she has been pointing out similarities in every episode. however, i had to send them away during the first part of last weeks episode. joes date with sara wasn't exactly child friendly...

i think that there will will be a twist, but i'm not sure what it is. i will, however, point out that zora is employed as a substitute teacher and that would earn her less in a year than our joe millionaire working his 19k gig. she has to has another source of funds just to feed herself!!!!!!

My stepdaughter pointed out the Cinderella simularities too...I didn't notice it, I was too busy drolling over all the women he had to choose from!

I think there has to be some kind of twist at the end...more than just....I really like you...but I lied...I don't have 50 million...I drive a bulldozer and make 20 grand a year....(long pause)..........SLAP!!!

I agree with Q...all the double twist talk has really stirred up my curiosity and kept me watching what could have been a very lame show.....cudos to Fox for making lemonaide from a bunch of lemons!

Evan's take on final three, after Mojo elimination. Aired on Fox, looked like Super Bowl parties interview.

"Sarah is right along my wave length"
"Melissa is sexy, very sexy"
"Zora is a tough nut to crack"

And he's in it for the challenge with Zora?
