"CA All-Stars Script Reveals."

I couldn't call it 'spoilers' with a straight face.

Anyway, here's a couple of tidbits relayed from the Worsters, who don't care about this any more than we do, but managed to get a glimpse of the latest rewrites anyway.

First off, from Cats: "From what I've gathered it looks like Bret, Latoya, Dee, Claudia, Dennis, OMAROSA, Brande and Trace are all probably out.

If true that leaves the following:

Gary Busey, Penn Jilette, Lil Jon, Marilu Henner, Lisa Rinna and Stephen Baldwin.

Not 100% though."

Huh. Can you pick a winner in that group? Gotta be Marilu, right? Or is Donald courting the fundie vote by taking Stephen? It sure won't be Penn or Lil Jon...

From Jillian02: "I think Omarosa is definitely out. She was on Washington Watch with Roland Martin. The show airs on TV One on Sundays but films on Thursdays prior to airing.Roland Martin is a commentator for CNN & loathes Donald Trump. Rev. Omarosa said on the show that the day Donald Trump had put that youtube video up online asking President Obama to release his college transcripts for a $5 million dollar charity donation was the day of a boardroom.Later that night in the boardroom all the black contestants were there.Omarosa said all of them including Arsenio Hall gave Trump side-eyes because of what Trump did earlier that day & they weren't happy.

Also to note on Tuesday she was in Ohio working with the Obama campaign & flew to Chicago to attend the victory party later that evening."

Not a surprise. Donald's politics have gone beyond radical and moved into either deliberate revolutionary looking to raise his own death militia or megatroll, pick one and only one. Most of the non-GOP celebrities in the casts and a few of the more moderate Republicans probably have to take showers after every Boardroom. Find the Democrats and centrists in this group and mark them as gone. It's always about the script -- but now it's about the agenda as well.

Maybe Trace was too moderate?

Well, I'd be just fine with Marilu winning -- I thought she was the best of the lot and we need another female winner.

Interesting what you mentioned about Omarosa -- I never liked her, mainly because I heard she acted like such a witch in the very first season and saw some of that in the first Celebrity season, but I can sure understand why she and the other black contestants were mad at the Donald for putting up that video. I wouldn't be happy with him either.

As for what I think about the Donald's politics, I'm going with mega-troll. I almost wish that your character Alex had been on The Apprentice -- she'd have sure found a way to fire the Donald and I would've loved to have seen it!

Okay, possible problem. If he preseason-tapped Stephen in an appeal to the fundamentalists in his heavily-TP viewer base, he would now have a winner who was slightly unable to attend. Only one thing to do: consult the non-appearance clause and sue for breach of contract. After all, if that Baldwin ever gets any money again, Donald will want first claim. Or in this case, second.

Given the time passage since our first script peek, there's a chance the show is still filming. They might have wrapped up the final task just before this happened -- but they could conceivably still be in progress. Imagine if the last round is currently taking place and the police pulled Stephen off the host microphone at his Donald-assigned show? Now there's a moment MB will treasure. (Donald, not so much...) Tonight on NBC, someone goes to jail, practically live! Tune in to see who gets cuffed! And please, please don't research it because you don't want to spoil the surprise, do you? Too late.

Fun times ahead. As long as you're not Stephen.

I might actually have to watch that episode.

I would guess that they were done filming before Thanksgiving. I can't imagine them filming and then taking a "break" on Thanksgiving weekend.

I can. Even Donald-level celebrities have trouble putting their lives totally on hold for several weeks. (Especially Penn, whose typical schedule is the stuff of nightmare.) Consider how many people have missed episodes in past seasons for previous contracts they couldn't break. Throw in union filming considerations plus even Donald wanting the holidays off for himself if no one else, and this series isn't necessarily recorded in one straight temporal line: there's gaps and breaks all over the place. I doubt they'll get to Christmas, but having it run into December wouldn't be a surprise.

It seems as if Trace survived after all: there are tweets from celebrities who went to root him on in what they believed was the finals, and they're identifying him as the PM on that task. (The Tubya was in attendance, along with The Hag. I may lose count of the reasons not to watch.) It's hard to say who he was there against -- Penn and Lil Jon are the heavy favorites, but nothing's confirmed. I would favor Lil Jon just because Donald's trying to rerun the election and cast the only vote -- but Penn seems to have had a lot of friends at attendance at the final event. Which may just mean he was part of the returning assist team and emptied out his black book, but with his spouse also there -- decent odds.

However, Penn wrote an article for Salon which included a section on the show experience. This is not PG-13 -- Penn is direct, does not censor himself when writing, and does not care who doesn't like it -- but it is honest. Honest venom, perhaps, and he has axes to grind, but -- well, approach at your own risk, but I feel it's well worth the read.

http://www.salon.com/2012/11/17/penn_jillettes_secrets_of_celebrity_apprentice_donald_trump_is_a_whackjob/

He also said more in his recently-published book (which I have not seen), claiming the only rules are what Donald makes up as he goes along (which we all knew) and that you basically advance by svcking up to him at full strength (which we all suspected).
In the name of publicity, he backed off this slightly later -- http://www.lasvegasweekly.com/blogs/kats-report/2012/dec/12/penn-skewers-celebrity-apprentice-and-trump----and/ -- but it's a pretty strong indication that he won't win right there. Donald does seek vengeance, y'know. All the time. And since this is about the only way he gets it, let the rigging conclude.

By the way, Clay was interviewed and confirmed that he'd been asked back for this, but elected not to go because he'd already finished second and due to factors beyond his control, second was the best he was ever going to do. Which is pretty much suggesting 'Tea Party birther freshly-reborn homophobe in charge: see ya.' And given what Penn revealed about Donald's real topics of discussion in those long Boardroom sessions -- twenty-two hours worth over his first season...

Trapped with a madman. DAWing and charity both have very high tolerance limits.

Looking for a discussion of Celeb App, 2013 (I don't watch it anymore, but I do have a morbid curiosity), I find this link to the Penn J article.

What a talented guy, and what a great article.

Really on point:

"No one can tell you the rules of “The Celebrity Apprentice.” No one. Donald Trump just does what he wants, which is mostly pontificating to people who are sucking up to him, while the network people try to manipulate him into making the highest-rated show they can. Trump can’t be manipulated, so the show isn’t even fair in that way. "

just wow. The team Omarosa was on didn't even bother to put her up to be fired because they all agreed Trump would never fire her. They SHOULD put her up every damn week until Trump is sick of seeing her there. Trump does what he wants but the contestants all know it. Sadly this fact is going to keep that vile woman in the game for a while.

SPOILER: I couldn't stand what Trump did to Brett last night and how he spoke to him. Brett was basically berated for being on the show again as a contestant and in the next breath praised for being a great guy. And oh, you're fired. If you didn't want him to be on the show again, Mr. Trump, then why was he extended an offer? I don't get it. Trump is a blowhole.

Gotta find out why Piers hates Omarosa so much-I only watch this show now and then so I don't know the history.

I have a reality tv addiction. There, I said it.

I agree about Omarosa; sick, vile person. Brett realized his mistake and what an evil person she is. Wonder how he felt after seeing the episode and how she intentionally set him up to fail.

Also agree that Trump treated Brett terribly. I didn't understand why he was so against him.

I liked Piers when he was on TCA. But...
he's becoming a PITA to listen to; he's a bigger pompous *ss than Trump
His continuous jabs at her were boring; just SHUT UP already! get over it! We all agree with you that she is horrible; enough already! Grow up! (rant about Piers over)

He hates Omorosa because she brought his family into the fight. She made ugly comments but as is her way, she denies it. Yet, she did say things about his family.
"Your children are so disappointed in you," she told him right to his face. She also told him that he was a terrible father. When asked about the Omarosa and Piers vocal banter, Lennox Lewis admitted that some things the woman said were nasty and mean.

Omarosa actually shuts up long enough so Trump can get in the words "Yaw fie-id?" Oh em gee that woman just cannot get enough of the sound of her own voice!

Voldy never did get the hang of non-verbal spellcasting.

I'd say at this point in her career, about a third of it is deliberately planned. She knows her role is 'reality villain' and runs with it. But at the same time, she's still such a natural for the part.
