I may not have remembered to watch most of the episodes but I couldn't miss tonight! Unfortunately it's a 2 hour show. UGH.

For some reason the SciFi channel plays it at 6:00pm here in SF so I get to watch it early. I don't know why but I am glad. I won't spoil anything but I can't stand Fiona. I find her to be rude and hypocritical. I won't miss watching her one bit.

I'm in San Diego, and caught the 6pm showing, also. Good lord, I wanted to slap Fiona in the worst way. She defines hypocritcal.

Art, on the other hand, has patience beyond words.

OK I did have to giggle at Fiona's little hotpants outfit in the kitchen when she had her fight with Art.

Posted by mistofleas on 04-29-04 at 11:07 PM
I agree about Fionas hot pants. I need to ask, if she's consulting a crystal ball to figure out what she's going to wear each morning...she better check that thing for cracks!

Girlfriend has lost any respect I might have had for her. She keeps interupting Art when he's trying to speak. He gets two words out and then she says, "May I speak now? Will you listen like I listened to you?" Even though she didn't listen to him. She didn't let him say his feelings. Then she said it was disrepectful of him to get so angry! Whatever woman. And she dares speak about Nicole not shutting up? Pffft on her I say!

*pauses*

Wow...guess I had some feelings there huh?

Misto was in my head through this show. I swear everything you said was almost verbatim what I was spouting off to Girlfriend. I was yelling at Fiona through most of it telling her to shut the hell up. And I too giggled over Don's little peak.

I must admit, I'm glad I didn't start watching until after she was gone. My goodness...going on about a left wing democratic agenda? Racism? Holy paranoid Republicans Batman!

I was glad when Bonnie told her to give it a rest.

Hehe, did you see Ta'shia when Kelly starting babbling about that crap? And two seconds later, Kelly's crying and saying how she adores the alts, even the ones she just said she couldn't stand? Looks like they would have learned to keep her away from the wine.

I can't believe that girl Kelly is for real. I think she has something wrong with her. She was cracking me up. I don't like to be mean to people, well okay sometimes, but she is one I would go out of my way to upset just because her outbursts are so surreal and funny.

Kelly definitely needs a good therapist. The Alts handled her outburst well because if it was me I would have asked her to leave.

Well, actually I would have yanked her out of her chair by her ear and pushed her towards the door. But I'm not as grounded as Art or Avacado.

I have to say I was very glad that Jamie and Nicole were the final two, and would be been happy with either of them winning. I have a feeling Jamie needed to win more than Nicole, and not just winning the money, and the Alts knew that.

Here's to Jamie making a new start. You go girl!

And kudo's to Nicole for taking the attacks from Eric and company with class and grace. Is there any reason why Kelly was gone in week two and Nicole stayed til the end? I just wish Bonnie had stayed around longer. What a great lady.

I can’t help but wonder if people like Fiona or Kelly, feel ashamed watching the show. Some time has passed between when it was filmed verses when it was aired. They both made complete asses of themselves. If they can at least feel shame, then there is hope for them as a person.

I know that Eric and Tim have no regrets. I think that it was ridiculous that Eric made it to the final three, when Bonny was let go earlier.

The show was suppose to be about growing as person (At least that was my take on it) I hope in watching the show that Fiona see that she needs personal growth as much or more than some of the TOPS. She made a fool of herself over Eric. I wanted to slap her as well with the way she treated Art.

Kelly needs serious psychiatric help.

I agree with you and Augie. Fiona was an embarrasment to the Alts in my opinion. Maybe next season she could sit on the other side of the table and we can see how much she grows. I don't think Kelly will feel shame when she watches. She has that look in her eyes of someone who feels that she is correct and the rest of the world is wrong and there will be no changing her mind.Like Misto's remark up top, they eyes are the window to the soul, I look into Kelly's windows and think that she needs a professional housekeeper to come in and take care of things. I would like to have been there when Augie was dragging her towards the door, but if Kelly had a childish outburst in my presence I seriously would have laughed in her face and told her that she was nuts.
I agree on the final two and agree that Jamie probably did edge out Nicole based on the money factor.

I read an Article in New Witch Magazine on Fiona. All she said was it was a wonderful experiance and would do it again. I guess this was before she saw the final cut.

Kelly needed to be shoved off to the little kids table. She was an embarressment to everyone. But watching herself she probably doesn't get it.

I was happy with the F2. I didn't care which one won. I was just so happy when Eric was booted. He didn't grow at all. In fact it was just Fiona that kept him there that long. I expected her to jump on him everytime they were together. Sickening! And I am sorry Bonnie was booted so soon. I believe Jamie did need the win more than Nicole so it was probably the proper ending.

that everybody dislikes her so much this is my first time watching the show but just based on her in this show I'm not seeing what she has done to make so many people dislike her.
She should have hit eric in the throat after that cup runneth over comment that would have been cool.

Only reason that I can see her losing to Jamie though is her answers to the final quesitons were a bit generic.

edited to actually make sense of what I was trying to say.

Personally, I liked her best, only because she didn't fake any addictions, didn't get involved in conspiracies, and took alot of heat from people pretty gracefully. I feel they saw her as little miss perfect, beauty contestant wannabe, all happy all the time, and phony. It just goes to show you how different peoples' perceptions can be. I would have reveled in her win just to see Eric's face.

I hated Nichole. Even more than Tim, because at least he added a perverse interest to the show. Nichole was just so fake and shallow. So glad she didn't win (will be even more glad when I actually get to watch it!)

"RE: What has Nicole done "

I actually liked Nicole more than the other TOP's, except for maybe Jamie. I think Nicole handled the criticism from the other guests with a lot more grace than any of the others would have. I believe that a lot of the dislike for Nicole came from Eric's campaigning against her. He had been trying to get her out since the beginning, and he admitted that he was doing his best to turn the Alts against her. I know that if people treated me the way that the others treated Nicole, I would have had a total meltdown. Nicole may be fake, but she was no more fake than any of the other guests that were left near the end. Even Jamie had her moments, like when she would be nice to Nicole, then run and talk bad about her behind her back. I think Nicole got a bad deal because of Eric and his nasty atitude.

I agree nerovh. I liked Nicole. And I do think Eric was one of the main reasons she was disliked. Eric had an immediate problem with her and saw her as his greatest competition for the win. So he went all out to spread evil gossip about her and get her booted. He had several of the others convinced they could never beat Nicole. She was good at challenges. But what bothered me more than anything was how he manipulated Fiona to see things his way. How Nicole stayed calm so often is beyond me. She deserved the win just for putting on such a brave face when she was treated so mean.

"Needing verses Deserving"
Posted by Deonna on 04-30-04 at 11:12 AM
I have noticed that a few people have said that it was alright for Jamie to win the money because she needed it more. I have no problem that Jamie won, but I would like to believe that she won because she deserved it more. Just because a person needs money, doesn’t mean they deserve it. If two people doing the same job, more money should be given to the person that deserves it more. The one that has worked the hardest, that has done the best job. Not the person that needs it more. Just because the person that needs it more has four kids (or whatever the reason) while the person that deserves it more is single, doesn’t mean that the person that needs it more deserves more money. That would not be fair to the person that has worked the hardest.

Deonna

Again, I would like to believe that Jamie won because the Alts thought she deserved it.

"RE: Needing verses Deserving"
Posted by brvnkrz on 04-30-04 at 11:20 AM
I'm sorry, I didn't mean to imply that she didn't deserve it. I agree that she deserved to win. I was just thinking that both deserved it and if both were on equal ground it would be perhaps the money that made the difference. But Jamie most definitely made a change. She did deserve to win because of her performance and her behaviour.
What I can't believe is how the Alts didn't see through Eric. I was so mad that they weren't seeing through his phony attitude. I think they are going to feel silly when they go back and watch and see how they were played by him.

"RE: Needing verses Deserving"
Posted by mistofleas on 04-30-04 at 11:54 AM
There's only one thing that I agreed with that Fiona said. Just before she gave her necklace to Nicole she said that Jamie had come into the house "down here" (and she held her hand low) and is going out "up here" (and she raised her hand high). Then she said that Nicole came in "up here" (and raised her hand high) and your leaving the house "here" (and she raised her hand slightly). What she was saying is that when it comes down to exactly how much growth either one of them did Jamie far surpassed where she was at the beginning and that's the kind of growth the Alts were looking for. Nicole already had a bright shiney light and she did grow, but she didn't have as far to go as Jamie.

So in the end the only reason I would have liked to see the Alts pick Nicole over Jamie? To see how pissed off Eric and Noel would have been to have her win. That's really the only reason. Erics smirk was almost too much for me to take. Jamie deserved the win...definately, but it would have been worth it to me to see Eric have to deal with having lost to Nicole.

--realizes she made not have made a whole lot of sense

"RE: Needing verses Deserving"
Posted by pheeann on 04-30-04 at 11:58 AM
Agreed. I would have been okay with either of them winning, but I think Jamie's response to the question "why would Nicole not deserve to win?" sealed her win. It impressed me immensely, where I had NOT been impressed with her at all until she won her trial. Nicole had impressed me overall, having won trials at least three times that I recall, and not being one who conspired with others. Her winning would have been smugly enjoyed by me, only to see Weasel Eric crash. I'll bet he sidled up to Jamie after the show and said, "wanna hook up?".

"Fiona going off on Art"
Posted by nerovh on 04-30-04 at 04:06 PM
Maybe I'm way off base, but I felt like maybe Fiona had a sour grapes kind of thing going on with Art. You know, since her little pet got voted off and Art's favorite got to stay, Fiona was pissed at Art. You notice how she was still trying to spread bad feelings about Nicole because she supposedly saw something bad about her in a divination. I have to say that I think Art is really great after the way he handled that irrational, raving lunatic of a witch.
